“Velkia?”

Luna nodded at Leo’s question.

“Yeah. It seems my lingering attachment is Velkia.”

Luna looked down at her palms.

“I was very worried about her.”

Concern flickered in Luna’s eyes.

“Were you worried that she would have to shoulder too much on her own?”

At Leo’s question, Luna shook her head.

“I wasn’t worried about her carrying a heavy burden or struggling because of it.”

Luna smiled broadly.

“Because I believed in Velkia’s potential more than anyone else.”

Velkia couldn’t wield Star Magic, but Luna had already expected that her disciple wouldn’t be able to use it.

The potential Luna believed in was her potential as a Hero.

“Velkia would have grown even more. She had the potential to overcome difficult trials... and to stand tall, rebuilding a broken world. I never doubted that she would protect the world we saved.”

And that was exactly what happened.

After Erebos was sealed.

Tartarus attempted to destroy the world to fulfill its master’s long-cherished desire.

It was Velkia who stood at the front lines to block that onslaught.

Following in the footsteps of the Great Heroes, she was a magnificent Hero who was more than capable of taking responsibility for an entire era.

“What I was worried about was Velkia’s temperament.”

“Her personality?”

“Yes.”

Luna gave a bittersweet smile.

Velkia was born in the darkest of ages.

Born in an era where the brightly burning sun had vanished, she didn’t even know what it was.

“But when I first saw Velkia, it was like looking at the sun.”

A child who could shine brilliantly even in a dark age.

It wasn’t simply because Velkia was born with great talent.

“She’s the kind of child who can smile truly brightly even in the darkest of times.”

“That’s true.”

She was always arrogant, blunt, and rebellious, yet she was the only person born in the Era of Calamity who could laugh so brightly.

“When everything around was dark, I had no worries. But when the surroundings become bright, shadows are bound to follow.”

Luna muttered softly, then let out a light chuckle.

“Still, I’m not that worried.”

“If you’re not that worried, can you really call it a lingering attachment?”

Luna snorted at Leo’s skeptical question.

“The regret of not being able to see what kind of life Velkia lived is more than enough to be a lingering attachment, don’t you think?”

That was certainly true.

“Well, if it’s Velkia, she probably did just fine.”

Luna showed firm belief.

“No matter what anyone says, she’s my disciple.”

Grinning, Luna hummed a tune as she walked.

“In that sense, shall I live for the present?”

Leo watched Luna’s retreating back for a moment before pulling a dagger from his robe.

Vihar’s dagger.

Gazing at the dagger in silence, Leo followed after Luna.

Luna’s tour of the school continued.

During the tour, what caught Luna’s eye was a joint rehearsal between the music club and the theater club.

“A musical? Is it a play?”

“Yes. The difference is that they act while singing.”

Eiran kindly explained from beside her.

“Oho!”

Luna’s eyes sparkled at a culture that hadn’t existed 5,000 years ago.

“Let’s see. I wonder what they’re acting out?”

She entered the practice room with an excited face.

And then...

“Ah?! Eiran Unni!”

A bright voice rang out.

Chelsea ran over and clung to Eiran’s back.

“I heard you came as an exchange student, but I didn’t expect to run into you here!”

“Chelsea-yang, it’s good to see you!”

Eiran smiled brightly and stroked Chelsea’s hair.

“Leo Oppa and Xia are here too?”

“Now that I think about it, you were in the music club, weren’t you, Chelsea-yang?”

Chen Xia nodded.

“Yeah, I’m the music club’s ace.”

Chelsea spoke confidently, crossing her arms and smiling triumphantly.

“I got the lead role in the musical this time.”

“The lead role?”

“Yeah.”

Nodding, Chelsea showed off her ears.

Unlike usual, Chelsea’s ears were pointed.

It seemed she was dressed up as an Elf.

“I came straight here to practice as soon as I got back from the commission because of this.”

“It suits you perfectly!”

Eiran smiled brightly.

Indeed, her outfit was the traditional mage attire of an Elf.

It was then.

“What’s this? What’s this? What is she?”

Luna’s eyes twinkled as she leaned in toward Chelsea.

Watching Luna, Chelsea’s face froze.

“Huh?”

She let out a bewildered gasp.

“Leo! What is this cute creature?”

Seeing Luna looking at her with an excited face, Leo said,

“That’s Chelsea Lewellin.”

“She’s so cute! I want her!”

Watching Luna speak like a young girl who had found a favorite doll, Chelsea looked horrified.

“Lu, Luna-nim?!”

“Oh my?”

Luna looked surprised when her Perception-Hindering Magic didn’t work.

Perception-Hindering Magic was also a type of Suggestion Magic.

Luna had set a simple keyword so that her identity wouldn’t be recognized.

Anyone who knew Leo’s true identity could recognize her.

The simpler the keyword, the stronger the power of the Perception-Hindering Magic.

And Leo’s identity was a keyword that could grant a simple yet very powerful suggestion.

“That means you know Leo’s true identity, don’t you?”

“Gasp!”

As her suspicion was confirmed, Chelsea’s mouth fell open.

“Oh my god! Luna-nim! Did you come out of the Hero Record like Arron-nim?”

“It’s a bit different from Arron’s case, but anyway, yes, I am Luna, Founder of the Nebula.”

“Oh my god, oh my god. How, how...”

Chelsea stomped her feet, not knowing what to do.

She was someone who loved stories of heroes.

Furthermore, meeting Luna, whom she respected so much as a mage!

What greater honor could there be?

“A-Ah, could you please shake my hand?”

“Sure. There’s no reason I can’t.”

Luna smiled and took Chelsea’s hand, then suddenly pulled her into a hug.

“Ah.”

“You’re so cute! Why don’t you call me Luna Unni?”

“Lu-Luna Unni?”

“I want a younger sister like this!”

Chelsea’s face melted at Luna’s action of rubbing her cheek against her head.

“Chelsea, it’s time to practice!”

“Oh? It’s the Student Council President.”

Sunbaes from the music and theater clubs called out to Chelsea.

Luna let go of her.

Chelsea headed toward the stage with a look of regret.

She had a mountain of things she wanted to ask.

But she couldn’t neglect her practice.

Just then, members of the music and theater clubs approached Leo.

“President, are you here to observe?”

“I’m just looking around.”

“I see. This is the pamphlet for the performance we’re doing this time.”

“What is the story about?”

“The story of the unfulfilled love between the Founder of the Nebula and the Warrior.”

“Pffft?!”

At the theater club member’s words, Luna, who had been drinking a beverage handed out by the stage staff, spat it out.

“Cough! Cough!”

Instantly, bewildered eyes turned toward Luna.

Luna waved her hand as she calmed her coughing.

In contrast, Leo was alone, stifling his laughter with small snorts.

“Sounds interesting.”

“Right? So, about the budget...”

“I didn’t come here to mess with the budget.”

For some reason, every club member he met talked about the budget.

At Leo’s words, the music and theater club members left with bright expressions.

“Leo-nim has become a truly terrifying figure.”

It was while Chen Xia was snickering.

“Unfulfilled love between me and that Arron guy?! Where on earth did such a ridiculous story come from that they’re performing it!”

Luna shouted at Leo with a flushed face.

“Don’t complain to me.”

Leo shrugged his shoulders.

Eiran spoke up on Leo’s behalf.

“Since the stories of the Great Heroes are so famous, there are many people in later generations who speculate that they must have loved each other.”

At those words, Luna narrowed her eyes.

“So? There are stories going around that Arron and I might have had that kind of relationship?”

“Yes. Along with the love story between Lysinas-nim and Arron-nim, it’s a very popular tale.”

“What about Kyle? Isn’t he linked with anyone?”

At that, Eiran peeked at Leo’s reaction.

“Until recently, the Hero of Beginning was treated as a fictional character who didn’t exist, so...”

“Hmph~”

Luna narrowed her eyes and looked at Leo.

“And the love story between you and that Dweno guy is quite famous too, isn’t it?”

“Ah~ is there a story like that too?”

“Looking at the pamphlet, it seems a performance based on that story was also a strong candidate. But it seems they couldn’t find anyone suitable for the role of Dweno, so they chose the story about you and Arron.”

Elves and Beastmen could be portrayed with costumes, but they couldn’t exactly shrink someone’s height for a Dwarf.

After hearing Leo’s words, Luna’s expression brightened.

“I’m so glad they aren’t performing that one.”

“Pardon? Why is that a relief?”

“Because if they had performed that story, I would have destroyed this entire place.”

The expression vanished from Luna’s face.

Seeing Luna reveal genuine anger, Eiran looked terrified.

A moment later, practice began.

Chelsea, who said she was the lead, played the role of Luna.

The role of Arron was played by a fourth-year student from the theater club.

“Goodness, who is Chelsea supposed to be acting as to be that pretty?”

Luna spoke shamelessly.

Ignoring Luna’s words, the song began.

Seeing that, Luna paused and stared intently at Chelsea.

“What a beautiful song.”

Eiran clasped her hands together in admiration.

It was exactly as she said.

Chelsea’s singing was moving enough to startle anyone listening.

A short while later.

Practice ended, and Luna spoke to Leo.

“Leo.”

“Yeah?”

“Why are there so many gems in this school?”

Luna spoke with her eyes twinkling.

“I’m getting so many inspirations for Magic.”

Leo smirked at her words.

Leaving the practice room, Luna spoke with an excited face.

“First Chloe and Eliana, and now even Chelsea! This era really has so many children with brilliant talent!”

“There’s also the one who completed Flame Emperor.”

“Right! I want to meet Lunia soon too! My successor whom you picked out!”

Luna smiled brightly.

“This is truly the best! This era is full of possibilities!”

Luna looked down at her hands.

“I can grow even more.”

The Magic that had accumulated and advanced over 5,000 years stimulated Luna.

Countless talents gave her new ideas and inspirations that even she hadn’t thought of.

Based on that, a new path was visible.

Before the Era of Calamity.

And throughout the time after the Era of Calamity, Luna was still evaluated as the strongest Mage in the history of Magic.

But Luna’s talent had not yet fully bloomed.

The new era and the newly created Magic Theories provided nourishment for the talent that had yet to flower.

Luna was certain that she could cultivate a new tree in the soil of 5,000 years of history that Magic had built.

'In this era... I might be able to see the end of Magic.'

It was when Luna’s eyes were shining as a single Mage and a seeker.

“Oh! Leo!”

A familiar voice was heard.

Standing there was none other than Carr.

“Chloe-yang came a long time ago, but did Carr-gun just arrive now?”

When Chen Xia asked with a curious face, Carr grinned.

“Yeah. There was a lot to learn at the Northern Magic Tower. Plus, I got to skip class, right?”

Chuckling, Carr waved cheerfully to Eiran as well.

But then, he looked at Luna and his face turned to one of bewilderment.

“Huh?”

Carr’s eyes widened.

At Carr’s reaction, which was colored with shock, Luna looked up with a curious face.

“Gasp?!”

Carr was startled.

Seeing that reaction, Leo narrowed his eyes.

Chen Xia also looked at Carr with somewhat perplexed eyes, as if she hadn’t expected this.

Carr asked in a voice full of shock.

“Lu-Luna-nim?”
