—oo-oo— the Webhunter sharpened her eyes at her fellow Divine Mother's assertion.
Indeed, if there was one advanced civilization that had mastered the creation and manipulation of water environments, it would be the aquadites. It made sense -o- would come to the conclusion that they were the ones responsible.
The Aquadians were one of the major civilizations in the Orion Star Strand. They were a species that had originally evolved in a world that was made entirely out of water. A condition that should have completely restricted them from ever being able to expand, but they nonetheless managed to expand outwards, having conquered countless stars.
There was some history between the aquadites and the homoarachnoids, certainly as there was between most major civilizations of import. However, what —oo-oo— didn't understand why they would choose to go out of their way to attack the homoararchnoid civilization, that too just one outpost world and kill one of their Divine Mothers.
It simply didn't make any sense. Especially when she knew that the civilization was making a bid for the galactic core and was no longer interested in the local affairs of the Orion Star Strand. It didn't make sense that they would go out of their way to provoke the homoarachnoids.
Especially when they would have known that the homoarachnoids would eventually trace it back to them, inevitably.
This was especially strange because they didn't make any attempts to even hide from well-known cosmo-forensics.
'Were they bought into the fold of the war by the Dessandrites?' —oo-oo— frowned. 'If so, then they would have made a statement. But they have been acting completely normally.'
On top of that, while they had managed to see what was happening in the Strehegeld Star System using superluminal light harvesting, all traces of the offending party were completely removed from within the Strehegeld Star System.
They couldn't even find any traces from the party responsible for the battle, even with the power of their Authority and the ability to see the Meta Web that had the information of reality itself in it. All the signs of the use of Administrative Authority were completely erased as well.
She didn't understand how that was possible given that the usage of Authority irreversibly caused the removal from material reality.
'Unless there were two Administrators?' She narrowed her six eyes, contemplating the possibilities. 'But would they really pay the price of using Authority in such a frivolous manner only to be removed from reality for years?'
There were still some things that didn't add up, as far as she was concerned, but -o- the Deathweaver had already arrived at the truth as far as she was concerned. She immediately transmitted the news back to the Council of Divine Mothers, having compiled a report that documented all the evidence that they had gathered and everything the investigation had turned up, as well as the conclusion that she had come to.

"We. Will. Get. Those. Bastards. For. Daring. To. Harm. Us!" the Deathweaver swore with a vengeful tone.
—oo-oo— directed a knowing glance at her fellow Divine Mother. The Imperialist Faction of the homoarachnoids that she belonged to was undoubtedly going to use this to start a conflict with the Aquadites. As someone who was unaffiliated, she wasn't particularly eager to start a war with another powerful civilization.
The Dessandrites were powerful enough to keep the homoarachnoids busy. If they had another front to wage war on, then the probability of the interstellar war ending in a catastrophic conclusion would be much greater.

"Let. Us. Continue. Investigating," —oo-oo— clicked with a serious expression. "There. Is. More. That. We. Can. Do."
-o- frowned at her sister.

"We. Have. Identified. The. Culprit. We. Should. Pack. Up. And. Go. Home. They. Will. Need. Us. When. We. Invade. Aquadite. Territory."
—oo-oo— pushed back against her younger sister. "We. Have. Not. Established. That. The Aquadites. Are. Responsible. For. This. Beyond. Reasonable. Doubt."
That remark caused the Deathweaver's anger to flare.

"Administrators. Are. Not. Bound. By. The Templates. Of. Their. Civilizations," —oo-oo— shot back. "Not. To. MEntion. It. Is. Entirely. Possible. That. We. Are. Dealing. With. A. New. Threat. The Milky. WAy. Is. Extremely. Vast. With. Hundreds of. Billions. Of. Stars. There. Are. Stars. We. Have. Not. Conquered. Nor. Explored. There. Are. Stars. That. Nobody. Has. Touched."
-o- glared at her sister. It was technically true that they couldn't rule out a new threat. There were too many worlds and information moved too slowly across the stars for them to say with certainty that a new advanced civilization hadn't infringed on their world.

"Not. To. Mention. We. Still. Have. To. Mine. All. Of. This. Esoteric. Matter," —oo-oo— gestured to the field of space rubble that stretched for hundreds of thousands of kilometers in all directions. "We. Will. Need. To. Remain. Here. Anyway. Until. Then. We. Ought. To. Be. Rigorous. And. Thorough."
"…Fine," -o- ultimately relented. "We. Mine. All. The. Esoteric. Matter. Then. We. Go. Back. Home."
With that settled, the two sisters separated. —oo-oo— continued to stare at the space debris, trying to sift through it with her extraordinary senses. She wanted to find something, anything, that wasn't supposed to be there. Whoever was responsible for this had gone out of their way to get rid of any and all traces that existed in the star system that would lead them back to them.
That was what drew her attention. If the Aquadites had done this, then using their water as prominently as they had was not going to allow them to get away, even if they had removed any traces within the star system. The homoarachnoids knew where they were, so what was the point of wasting all that Administrative power to clean up all traces of a battle within the Strehegeld Star System? Every use of Administrative power was costly, so it simply didn't add up.
