A series of hurried footsteps approached right after they hid well, led by a beastman of the White Lion tribe.

He lifted his nose to sniff in the air, then speaking in confusion:

"How strange, I just smelled a beastman scent, why can I not smell it anymore now."

Edward narrowed his eyes to look at the situation below, counting thirteen beastmen who were all people belonging to the White Lion clan. He heard a beastman among them speak while he was considering whether to let this group of people take his two younger brothers away:

"We should also go back, the inside is the territory of the Three-Eyed Wolves and Saber-Toothed Tigers, which we cannot defeat."

The leading beastman thought for a moment, saying: "We will walk a bit further, we might be able to find the fellow clan members of the Crimson people. We will walk about half a mile more, returning if we do not see anyone. We have used all our strength anyway..."

"Hey mister!" Edward did not have time to think much, hurriedly telling Spatial Spirit to remove the shield and poking his head out of the hiding spot to call the people who were about to leave back: "Are you looking for Crimson clan members? We are right here."

The group of White Lion clan beastmen widened their eyes to look, seeing a little mouse and a little leopard lying on the tree branch and poking their heads down to look at them. The leading beastman turned back to look at his teammates, saying: "Are there children in their group?"

His teammate replied: "I heard that they lost a family of five, there must be children if it is a family, right? However, the number does not seem quite right?"

Edward hurriedly said: "Those are indeed our clan members. Our family also got separated, leaving only my younger brother and I traveling together." He raised his front limb to point in the direction the beastmen intended to go earlier: "You should not go in there, there is a very fierce three-eyed Wolf pack inside. We just escaped from there."

Ryder signaled to Finnick after speaking, prompting the two cubs to creep along to find a way to climb down. A beastman in this team hurriedly stepped forward to transform into his beast form, calling out upwards: "Do not climb down, it rained so the tree is wet, making it very easy to fall. Let me bring you down."

Finnick widened his eyes to look: "Oh, I thought Lions did not know how to climb trees?"

The beastman burst into loud laughter, then springing his body to stand firmly on the tree branch.

"I do not know how to climb trees but I know how to jump. How could this height make things difficult for me." He approached, opening his mouth to bite the napes of the two cubs and jumping down with a whoosh. He placed the two cubs on the ground and then transformed into human form, curiously poking the red tree that was wrapping tightly around the front limb of the little spotted leopard to ask: "What is this?"

Chloe stretched out her tentacles to smack away the finger poking her, sluggishly climbing onto Finnick’s head. Edward immediately spoke on their behalf: "That is the contracted magical plant of my younger brother, which we picked up when it was dying in the forest. It accepted my younger brother as its master after he saved it."

There were quite a few cases of magical beasts signing contracts with beastmen anyway, so no one would doubt it if spoken out. The White Lion clan beastmen surrounded Finnick, curiously looking at Chloe sitting imposingly on the boy’s head:

"I have seen a lot of magical beasts contracting with beastmen, but it is still my first time seeing a magical plant actively signing a contract with a beastman."

"It is not that there are none, as some Sub-Beasts sign contracts with magical plants because they are cute. This magical plant is also quite pretty."

"Alright you guys, do not scare the kids anymore. Let us go back quickly before it gets dark."

Two out of the thirteen beastmen immediately picked up the little mouse and the little spotted leopard, turning their heads together to leave this forest. Taking advantage of the time before losing consciousness, Edward started to press them for information about this forest.

"This is the Illusion Forest. We are Martial Artists of the White Lion tribe, bearing the commission of your clan members to enter the forest to find people. The Golden Lion tribe and the Peacock tribe also participate besides our tribe. The Silver Snake tribe is busy looking for their missing young chief, thus they cannot participate with us."

"What are Martial Artists?" Edward asked innocently.

A beastman nearby smiled to say: "Oh my, Leon said the cultivation system of your tribe is different from ours, which seems to be true. I also do not understand why the elders of your family lock you kids inside the tribe, not letting you go out to understand the world situation either."

Edward glanced at Finnick, figuring it seemed their uncles had fabricated some identity, so the two children just needed to stay silent to avoid exposing anything. The White Lion clan beastman enthusiastically introduced the cultivation system of the Eastern continent along with a few notable matters for the two children to hear.

At that same time in another part of the forest, the group of people from the Golden Lion tribe and the Peacock tribe along with a number of Crimson Warriors had also found Sane’s couple. Their situation was not very optimistic. The two of them encountered a Wind-attribute Demonic Bird, and considering both terrain advantages and combat advantages, the couple was not its opponent.

Sane had his stomach pierced by the bird claws because he shielded Kaelen, his back also slashed with several deep wounds by the wind blades. Despite being heavily injured, Sane still tried to exert his strength to protect his mate, leading Kaelen to run away.

The wounds being too heavy coupled with too much blood loss, Sane finally could not hold on anymore, collapsing into a coma. Kaelen stood to block in front of Sane, using his bone sword and Divine Energy to continuously block attacks from the demonic bird, preventing it from harming his mate.

The wounds on his body increased with each passing moment while both Divine Energy and stamina were quickly completely consumed. A final wind flap struck him down to collapse on the ground.

When the Golden Lion and Peacock clans rushed to the place, the demonic bird had dived down from above, its sharp beak like an arrow shooting straight towards Sane. Perhaps compared to Kaelen, this demonic bird was more interested in the energy inside Sane. Kaelen used his last bit of strength, propping his hands to shield over Sane’s body.

"Chirp!"

"Squawk!"

A clear chirp and a hoarse cry rang out simultaneously. The scene of Kaelen being pierced through his body by the bird beak did not happen as imagined. He raised his head, turning his head to the left side to see a group of people hurriedly running towards this side. A Crimson Warrior could not hold back, blurting out a tragic howl:

"Chief! Priest!" Just one call had exposed the identities of their two leaders.

However, the Crimson Warrior no longer cared that much anymore, because their revered Chief and Priest were currently covered in blood while collapsing on the ground, blood flowing profusely to form a puddle under their bodies.

Hearing the voice of his clan member calling, Kaelen widened his eyes to look. He showed a relieved smile before his two eyes closed tightly, collapsing right on top of Sane.

"Ah ah ah! My tail feathers!! You stinky bird dare to scratch my precious tail feathers! Go to hell!!!"

In the sky, several Peacock clan beastmen were surrounding that demonic bird to fight with it. The demonic bird was very strong but it alone could not withstand so many beastmen at once, letting out a tragic shriek after being shot by an arrow through its wing bone and then carrying the arrow to run away.

"Where are you running?!" The Peacock clan beastmen immediately drew their bows and arrows, the arrows tearing through the wind to shoot towards the demonic bird and pinning into its body.

The demonic bird let out a long cry and lost balance, tumbling down from the midair. Its massive body crushed an ancient tree before smashing heavily onto the ground.

The Peacock clan beastmen surrounded its giant body again, shooting many arrows continuously until confirming the demonic bird was dead beyond any doubt. As soon as they set their feet on the ground, their claws and two wings dissipated, transforming entirely into human form.

Speaking of the Avian clan in the Eastern continent, they had up to three evolutionary forms. The first was fully beastified (bird form), the second was semi-beastified (human form but with wings and bird beak, legs were also bird claws), and the third was completely human form.

As soon as the Peacock clan beastmen descended, a person among them approached the demonic bird corpse, thrusting his hand with sharp claws into the heart position of the demonic bird to take out a magic core the size of a hand. This beastman clicked his tongue in praise:

"Oh my, this demonic bird had already reached the High-stage Martial Master realm, so if those two people had not severely injured it, our entire group swarming together might not have necessarily taken it down..." He raised his eyes to look towards Kaelen’s couple, only seeing a completely empty space: "..."

"Motherfucking golden-furred Lions! They left us to fight with the demonic bird, slipping away cleanly themselves!" The Peacock clan beastman roared: "I already said that we could not join hands with those deceitful Lions, but the chief just would not listen!!!"

A teammate of his spoke weakly: "They did greet us already, but it was because you were too busy holding that magic core to chuckle like an idiot that you did not hear. Those two people were too heavily injured, so they had to quickly bring them back to the Golden Lion tribe for treatment."

The Peacock clan beastman choked on his words, his face flushing red like pig liver as he coughed once to say: "Oh, the wind was probably too strong so I did not hear, we should also withdraw our team."

He stuffed the magic core into the animal skin bag worn on his waist, striding straight ahead. His teammate rolled his eyes, giving a contemptuous look at his back figure. A beastman in the team stepped forward to chop off the beak and claws of the Demonic Bird:

"It is a High-stage Martial Master after all, so the beak and claws can also be exchanged for quite a few primeval stones."

"Oh, its wing feathers are also quite hard and sharp, let us take them too."

Therefore, the group of Peacock clan beastmen swung their hands up, stripping the demonic bird bare. As for its meat, they all refused to take it. The entire energy of the magical beast was located in the core, so the little bit of energy in the meat was not worth much, only replenishing a bit of strength if eaten. The demonic bird meat was extremely smelly, stinking for several days if the smell lingered even a little bit, so they did not bother to take it.

By evening, Kaelen and Sane were brought back to the Golden Lion tribe, brought directly to Draven’s place. As soon as the door closed, Draven immediately poured out all his Divine Energy for treatment.

The wounds caused by the wings and claws of the demonic bird quickly healed at a visible speed, but the wounds caused by the wind blades of the demonic bird could not heal at all. Draven and the wood-attribute Warrior team were busy for a whole night, only being able to stop the bleeding for the two people near dawn.

In the communal house, Leon and the young Priest were sitting together, whispering to talk:

"Is it really like that? Did you not hear wrong?"

"Hearing it wrong once is still possible, but it is definitely not wrong for two times. Those two people are indeed the Chief and Priest of Crimson."

The eyes of the young Priest narrowed slightly: "Why did Aaron hide their identities then, does he not trust us that much? The personality of this person is truly too crafty!!!"

Leon blinked his eyes, defending Aaron: "If you and I also went missing, and our clan members just blabbed it out, tell me, would the Golden Lion tribe change masters?"

The young Priest paused slightly, rubbing his chin and feeling that Leon’s words also made sense. He spoke embarrassedly: "Because we never went missing so how would we know. Moreover, we do not even know where their tribe is located, so how could we attack them?"

"Us not knowing does not mean others do not know, so they cannot be blamed for being a little careful."

The young Priest narrowed his eyes to look at Leon, his voice holding a hint of suspicion: "You fiercely defended Aaron like that, is it not that you have feelings for him already?"

Leon rolled his eyes: "Can I not consider him a friend! The strength of our clan members visibly increased recently thanks to them, so what is wrong with me defending him a little?!"

The young Priest curled his lips: "They also learn martial arts cultivation like us, the two sides just exchanging benefits." He stretched his back to stand up, saying: "Alright then, just know it for now. I am going to sleep, it is too late."

Right at this moment, a guarding beastman ran over to report:

"Chief, Priest, the people of the White Lion tribe have arrived, also bringing two beast cubs. They said they are the beast cubs of the Crimson tribe."

The young Priest and Leon looked at each other, secretly thinking: Is today the reunion festival of Crimson?
