“I told you we should’ve retreated...why did you delay...”

Pei Tu and the other nine rose to their feet at once, exchanging puzzled glances. Pei Tu cupped his fists and asked respectfully, “May I ask, Lord Ape Ancestor, where we are headed?”

“To the All Mysteries Dao Platform...to see whether Lin Xun can break through the Dao Slaying Path and reach the Realm of All Mysteries.” With those words, Ape Ancestor turned and shot off into the distance.

Pei Tu and the others were startled at first, but their expressions soon shifted to excitement. Even Lord Ape Ancestor can no longer sit still. Is he finally going to make a move?

With that thought, they immediately followed close behind him.

“Naturally.” The Lord of Fangchun Mountain replied calmly. “Or rather, the moment Ape Ancestor moves, variables will arise. And those variables may well be exactly what Alpha Origin wishes to see.”

The golden cicada was slightly startled. “So, Fellow Daoist, you have no intention of making a move?”
