“I went on to sit in one place to contemplate on it. Three years later, on a stormy night haunted by the cracking of thunder, I finally got it.”

At this part, Bodhi seemed to enter a trance. “It was an epiphany. I suddenly penetrated through the thick fog and perceived the warp and woof of heaven and earth, the traces of dao in the mountains and rivers, and the vitality in every blade of grass... It was like opening a door to a whole new world, allowing me to finally understand what the so-called almighty dao is.
