Chen Erbao's eyes went wide.
Huh?
"Brother Da Bao, did you tell Sister-in-law?"
Chen Dabao shot Chen Erbao an annoyed glare. "Do I look like an idiot to you?"
Chen Erbao looked at Chen Dabao very seriously and nodded.
"You do."
"Get the hell out of here!"
Chen Dabao said, "Your big brother here might not be the most educated guy, but my brain still works just fine."
"If I told her about this, she'd skin me alive."
"Enough nonsense. Get inside."
They were just one step away from the goal, but Chen Erbao found himself hesitating.
"Brother Da Bao, are you sure this is really okay?"
"You don't mind?"
Chen Erbao was mainly worried about Chen Dabao's feelings.
The two weren't related by blood, but they were sworn brothers. Of course, Chen Erbao, the one benefiting, had nothing to complain about, but it was hard to say how Chen Dabao truly felt.
Just as Chen Erbao was wavering, Chen Dabao said, "What is there for me to mind?"
He put on a magnanimous expression. "Your brother here... I can't perform. Fang Yun hasn't found out yet, but she will sooner or later. Once it all comes out, it'll end in divorce."
"By then, the whole village will know I can't get it up."
"How could I show my face then?"
"Something's bound to go wrong sooner or later, so we might as well take the risk. If this works, it's a win-win. My brother gets a taste, and I get to save face."
"Besides, I can tell your sister-in-law really fancies you."
"You two make a good pair. I can rest easy entrusting your sister-in-law to you."
As he spoke, Chen Dabao patted Chen Erbao's shoulder.
It left Chen Erbao at a loss for words.
He took a deep breath and said, "Alright, let's go."
Chen Dabao nodded and led Chen Erbao into the courtyard.
A table was already set up in the courtyard, with several exquisite side dishes laid out. The liquor Chen Dabao had bought was placed to one side.
Fang Yun was sitting on a chair, playing on her phone.
She had just showered. Her hair was still a little damp, carrying the fragrance of shampoo.
She wore a tight-fitting black dress that outlined her already perfect hips, tracing an even more alluring curve. All her assets were on full display—curvy where she should be curvy, and perky where she should be perky.
Shoulders, armpits, back, waist, hips, legs... every part of her was proportioned just right. Any more and she would look bloated; any less and she would seem too green.
A little curvy isn't always perfection, but perfection is always a little curvy!
Chen Erbao was completely captivated.
A certain saying suddenly came to his mind.
A man will always find himself falling for a mature woman at different stages of his life.
She no longer had the naivete of a young girl; time had endowed her with a touch of maturity. That seductive charm was etched into her very bones, present in every strand of her hair.
Every frown, every smile, every single movement was a reason to lose control.
Chen Erbao's mouth felt dry.
Especially Fang Yun's wasp-like waist—it was like she was born to be a perfect rack. Chen Erbao didn't dare to imagine how thrilling it would be to hold that waist from behind and thrust into her.
Just then, Fang Yun noticed the two brothers walking in. She gave a bewitching smile, her eyes lingering on Chen Erbao before she spoke. "You're finally back."
"I was starting to think you two weren't planning on eating dinner."
Chen Dabao quickly said, "Of course we're eating! How could we not?"
"It would be a waste of your amazing cooking."
He nudged Chen Erbao. "Er Bao, after your sister-in-law heard you were coming for dinner, she didn't even let me help. She made this whole spread all by herself."
"Shouldn't you toast your sister-in-law?"
HISS.
Chen Erbao sucked in a sharp breath.
'Brother Da Bao is being a little too hasty, isn't he?'
'Is it starting already?'
Before Chen Erbao could say anything, Fang Yun took the initiative, poured herself a glass of liquor, and raised it. She glanced at Chen Erbao, her tone playful. "Er Bao, since your brother put it that way, I guess we should have a drink."
Fang Yun's teasing smile made Chen Erbao feel a strange sense of panic. He had a feeling she already knew something.
But at this point, Chen Erbao couldn't be bothered to overthink it. He went straight to the table and poured himself a drink.
"Sister-in-law, to you."
Their glasses clinked, and they downed the liquor in one go.
Chen Dabao beamed. He quickly refilled their glasses and said, "Honey, come on, let's have a drink. Consider it my apology for making you unhappy earlier."
"I'll be sure to treat you right from now on."
Afraid Fang Yun would refuse, Chen Dabao drank his down in a flash.
Fang Yun didn't say anything, just gulped down her drink.
Chen Dabao hurriedly topped her off. Just as he was about to raise his glass again, Fang Yun shot him a glare. "You think everyone's a lush like you?"
"Who chugs liquor like that?"
"You have to let people eat some food."
Chen Dabao paused for a second, then grinned.
"Right, right. Eat, eat."
In reality, he couldn't wait for Fang Yun to get drunk so they could get down to business. But now it was clear he couldn't rush things, or Fang Yun would easily see through their plan.
Chen Erbao was worried about that too and kept shooting Chen Dabao warning glances.
Only then did Chen Dabao back off.
The three of them began to eat and drink slowly. As they chatted, the topic of Chen Jiaqi and Chen Erbao's marriage came up.
Fang Yun said, "Er Bao, didn't Jiaqi come looking for you during the day?"
"Have you two set a date for the wedding yet?"
Chen Erbao was just debating whether to tell Brother Da Bao and Fang Yun that he and Chen Jiaqi had completely broken up when Chen Dabao spoke up. "They have."
"Er Bao was just telling me about it."
"For that, we should definitely have a few more drinks, right?"
"Honey, come on, raise your glass! We have to congratulate Er Bao together."
Fang Yun gave Chen Dabao a wry smile, then raised her glass to Chen Erbao. "Congratulations, Er Bao."
Now, Chen Erbao had no chance to bring up what really happened with Chen Jiaqi.
He could only raise his glass. But just as he was about to drink, he saw that Fang Yun's face was flushed red across from him, and she was slowly slumping onto the table.
"Wow, this liquor really packs a punch."
After saying that, she began to breathe softly. Apparently, she was drunk.
Chen Dabao, who was also breathing heavily from the drinking, immediately perked up. He shot to his feet, ran over to Fang Yun's side, and called her name a few times. When he saw no sign of her waking up, he became ecstatic.
He looked at Chen Erbao. "Er Bao, it worked!"
"Say no more. She's all yours. I'm gonna go take a stroll around town."
"Brother Da Bao, wait—"
Before he could finish, Chen Dabao had already run out of the courtyard, thoughtfully closing the main gate behind him.
Immediately after, Chen Erbao felt a tickle at the top of his thigh, as if something was desperately trying to burrow inside.
He looked down, and his expression changed dramatically.
It was, unmistakably, a fair, pale leg.
Her small foot was incredibly nimble, easily finding the opening of Chen Erbao's shorts and slipping inside.
The cool touch sent shivers down Chen Erbao's spine as her deft toes gripped his weapon.
He instinctively looked up and nearly jumped out of his skin.
Fang Yun wasn't drunk at all. She was propping her face up with both hands, watching him with that same teasing smile.
"S-Sister-in-law... y-you're not drunk."
The shock was so great that Chen Erbao's voice trembled.
"You knew all along?"
Fang Yun's foot was extremely agile. First, she gently prodded him with her big toe, then pressed the sole of her foot against him, rubbing lightly. She continued to rest her chin on her hand, staring at Chen Erbao. "That useless piece of trash, Chen Dabao... I know what shit he's about to take the moment he bends over."
"I can't believe he actually came up with this plan—to get me drunk and give me to you."
