Arsilan Worlds was in an uproar.
No, with the Hero population approaching a billion, it would be more accurate to say the entire world was in an uproar.
One billion Heroes!
The sheer power of that population was immense. Discussions were even being raised about officially recognizing the Sillion Empire as a sovereign nation.
Heroes regarded the Sillion Empire as their homeland far more than the countries they actually belonged to. As a result, a strong sense of solidarity had formed among Heroes. It was a transcendent bond that overcame race, gender, and even age. It was an unprecedented force the likes of which Earth's history had never seen.
'Why don't we just declare ourselves an official nation?'
'One-eighth of the world's population is already Sillion citizens. Whose permission would we even need?'
'We ARE a nation!'
Quite a few already considered it an official country.
In that climate, a massive update that utterly transcended common sense had been slipped in without fanfare, so it was only natural that the whole world was thrown into shock.
Over five thousand dimensions!
None of them were lazy copy-pastes or randomly generated filler. Every single one was a unique, original world. They hadn't actually visited them yet, but every dimension viewable through the Information Window was different down to the last detail.
Not a single person dismissed them as mere showcase footage.
That was because the dimensions reflected in the Information Windows were far more than just video clips.
People screaming as they fled, natural disasters triggered by the schemes of the Kalsus Dimensional Empire Army, people wailing in grief. All of those scenes were unfolding in real time.
Arsilan Worlds was going berserk, but the Constellations couldn't pull themselves away from the banquet hall for quite a while. Simply surveying the Dimensional Realm made time fly by.
Viewing a dimension through the Constellation's Eye displayed its information along with its danger rating.
[Utana Dimension]
Primary Races: Keshin, Lanin, Huloon (extinct)
Religion: Alta, Evil God (NEW!)
Danger Rating: C
A dimension characterized by terrain made of fine sand particles.
The sand is packed with rich nutrients, and simply consuming it provides all the nutrients the body needs.
The sand originates from the milk of cow-like animals called Alta, and it tastes remarkably like fine cheese. It is currently on the brink of extinction due to the massacre carried out by the Kalsus Dimensional Empire Army.
Danger ratings were determined by comprehensively assessing the dimension's condition, the enemy's armament, their numbers, and so on, and an appropriate recommended level was displayed based on that rating.
It was impossible to learn all the languages of those dimensions, but right on cue, a Dimensional Translator that could be installed on ships was added to the Constellation Shop. Installing just one allowed everyone on board to share its translation function.
The translations were appropriately filtered so that neither the Hero nor the target dimension would suffer adverse effects. Learning the languages directly wasn't blocked either.
"Where should I go?"
"I'm kind of into this primitive-looking dimension."
"Oh, there's one that looks like cyberpunk too? No magic there, huh?"
The Constellations were utterly absorbed in admiration.
At this rate, they looked like they'd stay there all day. Haebyeol was the first to snap out of it and speak up.
"Shouldn't we get moving first? The situation looks urgent."
"Right."
"Let's buy the blueprints and start modifying our ships."
"Ha! Glad I bought a ship."
"Oh! Heads up, guys, ship prices are shooting up right now."
Ship prices kept climbing.
Even small vessels with barely any function beyond flying were already pricier than a luxury sedan in real-world value. And yet their prices were skyrocketing.
The Constellations left the banquet hall and returned to Luzen. Most of the Constellations were staying in Luzen's major cities. When they left the Evil God's Tower, they reappeared in the center of the city where they were based.
Many Heroes were waiting for the Constellations in Luzen's major cities.
"They're here!"
"The Constellations have arrived!"
"Please take me with you too!"
"I'm a Level 130 Berserker with a rare skill! I'm open to guild invitations that can travel across dimensions!"
"I'm a Level 144 Flame Mage! My Magitech Engineering knowledge is Rank C! I'd love to join a guild, territory, or party under a Constellation!"
"Um, do you take Newbies too? I'm a hard worker."
"Constellations! I have a large trading vessel! It can be modified! Please contact me!"
The central plaza of the major city was bustling.
Heroes who had heard the news crossed over into Luzen and flooded into the city. From Newbies who hadn't shaken off that fresh-off-the-boat look to merchants who owned massive vessels, the plaza was packed.
Since dimensional travel required a Constellation, everyone wanted to sign on somewhere with one.
The number of Heroes above Level 200 in Arsilan Saga had grown considerably, but the number of Constellations was still not that large. Since they had to undergo training at the Sanctuary and pass a qualification exam, their numbers weren't climbing quickly.
At present, there were barely around ten thousand Constellations.
Only the top 0.001% of Heroes had reached Constellation rank.
Seeing the Heroes so desperately seeking them out, the Constellations felt a thrill run through them.
"THIS is what the advance team gets!"
"Long live the Creator God!"
Without any strategy guides, they'd thrown themselves bodily at quests to complete them, then uploaded the results to Arsilan Worlds or shared them via broadcast. The follow-up waves could then use that information to trace their steps.
True, they got to enjoy the items and content ahead of everyone else, but FS Games made sure that most of that content remained accessible to Heroes who came later.
Constellations setting out to save dimensions!
The only way all those Heroes could cross dimensions was with a Constellation! With this kind of treatment, there was no room for complaints.
"We really are Constellations, huh."
"Ahhh! Feels good."
"Alright! Line up! I'll take as many as I can!"
"I'll hold interviews as soon as possible! Leave your names!"
This wasn't competitive content.
The more Heroes they could bring, the better. After all, there were simply too many dimensions!
A massive shipyard was erected in front of Luzen's major city.
Numerous workshops, including Magitech Engineering workshops, joined forces to take on ship modification requests, and dimensionally-capable vessels began to be constructed at a rapid pace.
Led by the Constellations, the world was smoothly advancing toward a true Grand Dimensional Era in which one could cross dimensions under their own power!
* * *
Jinwoo traveled between dimensions while watching the Heroes' progress.
It was impossible to save every single one of the over five thousand dimensions, but he could take temporary measures for the most critical hotspots right now.
A land that had been shaken by massive earthquakes due to the Kalsus Dimensional Empire's mining ships extracting resources recklessly came into view. A village where survivors had gathered was trembling precariously, and black smoke was billowing from a volcano. It looked like it would erupt any moment.
Whoosh!
Jinwoo stretched out his hand, and a Grand Magic Formation unfolded and settled into the earth. He sealed the ground that had begun to split apart and instantly froze the magma filling the volcano. Since there was a risk it might melt again and erupt, he eliminated most of it, leaving only enough for the volcano to sustain itself for the next few weeks.
"What's next?"
[Dimension number 142. A massive tsunami has occurred. It is estimated that Kalsus forces triggered the catastrophe before their withdrawal back to their homeland.]
It was an attempt to wipe out the race by preemptively unleashing a catastrophe so their remaining forces could smoothly carry out the dimensional incineration. Jinwoo moved dimensions according to Tiris's instructions.
Thanks to having absorbed a high-grade Authority Stone, he could now travel between dimensions without a Dimensional Transit Ship so long as he had the coordinates.
He saw a tsunami surging toward the land.
The land Jinwoo descended onto had originally been sea. The tsunami was so massive that the ocean had been left empty. Jinwoo shattered the tsunami with a grand spell, then cast a large-scale defensive barrier in the surrounding area to block the shock wave.
"Next."
[Dimension number 2,345.]
There was no time to rest.
Jinwoo immediately moved to another dimension to stop a catastrophe that would have led to extinction. He completely melted the interior of a machine that was trying to extract the planet's core and kidnapped every soldier stationed nearby.
"Phew."
A brief moment to catch his breath.
Sensing someone's presence, he glanced to the side and saw a little kid holding a wooden stick. Everyone else had fled, but this child had bravely come all this way alone to try to stop that machine.
"Oh, brave, aren't you?"
The child froze at the sight of Jinwoo.
"Keep what you saw today a secret. This is a bribe."
Jinwoo chuckled, pulled out a box of snacks and food from his Subspace and set them down, then drew a dagger and fastened it to the child's waist. He ruffled the kid's hair and moved on to the next dimension.
"I'm working this hard and my Evil Karma Value still isn't going down."
[It seems that the Evil God and the principal god of Arsilan are treated as separate symbols. Also, the Evil Karma Value currently being accumulated is enormous.]
"Well, all the bad things happening to those Kalsus bastards are thanks to me."
Every bit of the Kalsus Dimensional Empire's suffering traced back to Jinwoo.
[Lady Ella and Lady Helby say they'll help.]
"Perfect timing."
Even Ella and Helby joined in to help Jinwoo.
After saving hundreds of dimensions, Jinwoo returned to the Dimensional Transit Ship. He swiftly neutralized catastrophes and then moved again to handle the cleanup.
"Ugh!"
He immediately slumped down, exhausted.
Dimensional travel devoured an enormous amount of mana and Sacred Power. Since Jinwoo had been handling the dimensional jumps on Ella and Helby's behalf as well, the two of them had also run completely dry of mana and Sacred Power.
[We should be fine for a while now.]
"I'm dying here."
Jinwoo lay sprawled on the floor and checked in on the Heroes' situation.
Above Luzen's major city, countless ships floated in the air. They were clad in Dimensional Armor and outfitted with various devices purchased from the Constellation Shop.
"What a sight."
"Maybe it's because it's nighttime, but it looks like we're gazing at stars."
The tens of thousands of ships twinkled like starlight. Every one of those tens of thousands of vessels was linked to the Dimension Gate, preparing to set out into the dimensions.
It was technically possible to pick a dimension directly, but because there were just too many, they had left the selection to the Dimension Gate. The Dimension Gate would assess each ship's average level and armament, then assign them to a dimension of appropriate danger rating.
"I'll have to see this in person."
Jinwoo stepped out of the Dimensional Transit Ship and moved to the rooftop of the building with the best view of the fleet. Ella and Helby appeared behind him.
Ella was wearing an outfit that billowed softly like a jellyfish.
"What's that?"
"This? Someone gave it to me after I rescued them. Pretty cool, right?"
Helby was wearing sunglasses fitted with some kind of mechanism.
When Jinwoo cocked his head at the sight, she pressed a button on the sunglasses. At that, the sunglasses split apart and transformed into earrings.
"Swiped them."
Looking closer, she was wearing a watch too.
The various dimensions in the southern region were filled with fascinating things. When Jinwoo showed interest, Helby proudly showed off her collection. She seemed pleased to own something Jinwoo didn't know about.
It was a small, quiet happiness.
Couldn't all these diverse dimensions just coexist peacefully like this?
The encroachment on higher dimensions and the ambitions of the Kalsus Dimensional Empire were simply too vast and too relentless.
Jinwoo looked at the fleet.
"Move everything over!"
"We need to take this too!"
"Arghhh! All done!"
They were bustling about, carrying goods onto the ships, inspecting equipment and boarding the vessels. Alongside combat personnel, quite a few scholar Heroes who had been researching in workshops could be seen as well.
There was even a scholar harboring the ambition to compile a Dimensional Realm Encyclopedia. Once it was completed and registered on Arsilan Worlds, he stood to earn an enormous sum of money.
"Hmm..."
Jinwoo shifted his gaze to LifeHunter's faction, which possessed its own fleet. The ships looked like nothing so much as pirate vessels. Boss monster skulls served as ornaments, and enchanted bone decorations covered the Dimensional Armor.
"Are those supposed to be pirate ships or something..."
Countless Undead Heroes had joined the fleet LifeHunter led. The Magic Armors, upgraded with Kalsus Dimensional Empire technology, displayed nimble mobility. They could leap to great heights with boosters and even glide through the air.
A LifeHunter fleet accompanied by such Magic Armor units would doubtless put on a strong showing against the Kalsus Dimensional Empire Army.
"The ships are all over the place."
Ella said this as she watched the countless vessels.
The ships had no standardized specifications or appearance. Each was different, and each displayed strong individuality.
Which made it all the better.
It felt like a showcase of the diverse possibilities the Heroes embodied.
The Dimensional Flower planted in front of Luzen's major city was linked to the Dimension Gate.
[Dimensional Realm] Onward! To New Dimensions!

As the quest notification popped up, cheers rang out.
The ships floating in the sky flashed their lights too. It was a signal that communications between vessels were flying thick and fast.
[This is Romance Ship. Is everyone ready?]
[We are prepared to set out for the hunt.]
[Man, this is exciting! I'm dying to know which dimension we get assigned to! Aw, crap! I need to pee!]
[You idiot! Keep it formal over the comms!]
The Heroes were as raucous as ever.
On Earth and in Arsilan alike, countless people were watching this very moment.
Light poured forth from the Dimensional Flower, and an Information Window materialized inside each ship.
[Initiating dimensional transit procedures.]
Leon's voice rang out.
The Heroes were intensely excited to hear Leon's voice after so long. With Leon personally directing operations through the Dimension Gate, morale shot up through the roof. Jinwoo hadn't done it himself; he'd left it to Tiris.
[Dimensional search complete. Dimensional coordinates are being input. Constellations, report in once ready.]
[Romance Ship! Ready to go! Hello! Sir Leon! I've missed you!]
[Beautiful Helby, ready.]
[His Majesty Leon's Foot Massage Brigade! Ready!]
[Blood Cloud Pirates, all preparations complete.]
.
..
....
As each Constellation reported in and pressed the 'Ready' button that had appeared inside their vessel, coordinates were automatically entered.
[Currently 7,421 ships are standing by for launch.]
That was the count of the first wave to depart.
It would be more accurate to call it the First Salvation Fleet.
A brief silence settled over them.
The lights of the ships floating in the air twinkled through the hushed atmosphere. Every one of them was waiting solely for Leon's launch order.
[As of this moment, the First Salvation Fleet is cleared for launch! Heroes, may fortune be with you!]
The moment Leon's clearance was given, blue light began to pour forth in front of every ship. Space rippled, and rifts in the dimensional fabric yawned open, large enough for the ships to pass through.
[LET'S GOOO!]
[We're launching!]
[Holy crap! This is insane.]
FWOOSH!
The ships were enveloped in a brilliant halo of light, and in that same instant they became the light itself and streaked into the dimensional rifts.
The sight of thousands of ships undertaking dimensional transit, trailing long, luminous tails, was overwhelmingly beautiful. It looked as though countless comets were brightly painting the sky.
The Luzenians who had come to see them off waved, and Ella too stretched out both arms and waved.
Helby watched a broadcast from the Helby Fan Club and frowned.
They harbored the ambition of founding a Church of Helby throughout the Dimensional Realm. They had even gone so far as to mount exaggerated statues of Helby on the prows of their ships.
Ella sat down beside Jinwoo.
"We finally made it this far."
"Well, it wasn't easy."
They still had a long way to go.
The journey to save the Dimensional Realm had only just begun.
"But it was fun, wasn't it?"
Ella said this with a bright smile.
There had been plenty of painful moments, but thanks to the fun ones, they had been able to turn into memories of a pain that had already passed.
"Yeah, it was fun. And it's going to get even more fun from here on out."
An even more fun Arsilan Saga!
He would make sure of it.
Jinwoo gazed at the trails the Heroes had left behind in the sky and blessed those who had departed for the Dimensional Realm.
