The day after Endeavor’s fight with the black Nomu, we went to school like any other Monday. Mr. Aizawa had us go to training ground beta, where ‘villains’ attacked and we had to save civilians and dispatch the ‘villains’. I am part of the recognizance squad, and I use my quirks to fly high and look around the training ground. Since my quirk is versatile, Mr. Aizawa deemed me a floater, free to change ‘jobs’ as I see fit. Mainly because my quirk is great for rescues, too. The first thing I see is smoke, and I go in that direction to see the cause. A building collapsed near the river, and it still seems to be burning. I also see someone in the river.

Upon closer observation, it is Weird-eyes pretending to be a victim with a huge smile on his face. I'm scanning again for more recon of the area on fire, since I feel like I am missing something. It would be too easy if it was just a fire and a single rescue. Mr. Aizawa wouldn't give us an assignment that easy. I teleport closer, use my zoom vision toward the fire, and see that Amajiki and that annoying chick are here in numbered vests stretching as if preparing for battle. I teleport back to the others, and they radio our classmates with my added intel. It seems that they were able to gather most of the same intel (everything except the location of the villains), and they have already told our classmates who are already moving to rescue Weird-eyes and to extinguish the fire.

Aya-chan was in the group going in the direction of Weird-eyes in the river.  The spiky bastard drags Kaminari by the ear in that direction of the fire where I told them the upperclassmen were. Kaminari asks, “Where are we going?” The spiky bastard responds, “Tsk. We are going to kill the villains. It has to be those weird upperclassmen.” Since it appears that ‘Weird-eyes’ is the only victim here today, I help out the rescuers by teleporting them straight to where he is floating down the river to a busted-up bridge.

Once we get to the riverside, Sato throws the pervert who throws a bunch of his purple balls to the broken bridge to keep it from continuing to fall into the river. Aya-chan and Tsu team up, and Aya-chan uses her tentacles to hold Tsu over the river, where Tsu uses her tongue to grab the ‘victim’. She places Weird-eyes on the side of the river, on stable ground, and he says, in that goofy manner of his, “Thanks for saving me.” His acting skills need some work. Though I understand where he is coming from. I am not the best actor either… During our commercial shoots, we have had to do several takes on multiple occasions because of my poor acting, but I have been getting a lot better thanks to Aya-chan, who is obviously a natural.

The next thing we know, there is another explosion where the fire was. We became worried about the explosion, and Weird-eyes fell backward off the river’s edge into the water while they were distracted. Aya-chan tried to grab him with her tentacles on his wrist, but he permeated through her tentacle to be a little difficult while sticking out his tongue playfully. He resumed drifting down the river, and Aya-chan teamed up with Tsu again, but he is a little too far into the river now for them to reach. Aya-chan brings Tsu back to the shore, and she asks me quickly, “Can you teleport me over there, Hops?” I nod while cold sweat drips from my brow. Can I walk on moving water like that? That seems a little more complicated than still water.

Wait, it can’t be more complicated than ocean water, and I was able to walk on the ocean briefly that one time in Ghana.

Aya-chan, as if sensing my apprehension, says, “Don’t worry, Hops. I will hold onto you and make sure you don’t fall in. Hypothetically, if you do, don’t forget you have Squash by your side as well.” I hold her hand tightly and teleport us on top of the water. I start quirk walking immediately, and everything seems fine if I focus. That cheery, weird-eye dude ruins everything with his surprise almost instantly: “Wow, you surprised me!” I start to fall and my legs start to get drenched in water, and I scream in my panic smelling the salt from the splash. Aya-chan grabs both me and this Togota dude with her tentacles, and she quirk walks on the river in the direction where our classmates are. I know I have Shenron’s blessing and won’t die from water, but it doesn’t mean that the thought of being paralyzed doesn’t scare me. Every time I feel that feeling, I get taken back to that terrible time when my birth mother was murdered.

Aya-chan is amazing. She is carrying both me and Weird-eyes here. When she starts breathing heavily from carrying us both, I finally realize I was frozen in my fear of almost being submerged. I wasn’t even actually paralyzed, but that fear took over. I teleport us the rest of the way where our classmates are, and Aya-chan puts Weird-eyes down while Tsu makes sure he doesn’t fall in again. Aya-chan holds me by my face in worry, and asks me, “Are you ok?” I awkwardly nod while avoiding eye contact, “Y-yeah.” She whispers, “Are you sure, because you are still pale?” I sigh and whisper, “N-not here, Flustrated.”

I definitely don’t want our classmates to know why I feel the way I feel when I become paralyzed. I am not an idiot. I know that they all know what the reporters said during the segments when I was kidnapped, but the specific details of what I witnessed and experienced were left out. I need some things to remain private. The rest of the class just thinks I am scared of the water because I can’t swim, which is definitely part of my panic. Just not the majority of my panic. Not long after, we hear a recording of the principal’s voice say, “The drill is over. This drill is over.” Hearing that, I assume we finished this training, and Weird-eyes approaches me and asks, “Hey, Mochizuki, wasn’t it? Are you alright?”

I smack my teeth, “Tsk. I am here, aren’t I?” He asks, annoyingly meddlesome like the nerd can be, “Would you like me to teach you how to swim?” I sigh and retort with an attitude, “If it were that easy, I would have learned a long time ago.” Aya-chan sighs, and instead of bonking me, she places her hand on top of my head, and she says, “She was cursed during our travels, and whenever she gets submerged in any salt water, she becomes paralyzed and sinks. Some hot springs have the same effect due to the sodium chloride, which has a similar salt content to seawater.” I think of the hot springs where we did our training, which were sodium chloride onsen, and I shiver thinking of getting paralyzed. Weird-eyes looks confused, “I have never heard of someone actually being cursed before. I thought stuff like that only happened in movies?”

I smack my teeth again with an attitude. Since we are done, I grab onto everyone and teleport us back to where we started. As we were arriving, we heard a separate explosion that sounded like that spiky bastard, and All Might and Mr. Aizawa sighed while telling the security robot in an annoyed voice, “Escort Bakugo to the faculty lounge.” The robot dutifully starts moving slowly in the right direction. After a few minutes, the rest of our classmates returned and updated us on how they used their new abilities paired with their own to defeat Amajiki and that annoying chick. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun… except Amajiki. He turns from everyone and starts to walk away, burnt to a crisp from that spiky bastard, “Can I go home now?” The annoying chick says with her own hair also comically frizzled, “You are supposed to ask those things before you start walking away, Amajiki. You know that we are still in school, and you can’t leave yet.” The last bit, she said in a scolding tone, and he sighed.

Mr. Aizawa gives us the after-training debriefing and examines our performance while it is still fresh within our minds. Mr. Aizawa starts off by saying, after sighing, “Aside from Bakugo’s outburst at the end, you did well. Everyone fulfilled their roles very efficiently.” I scowl harder as I pout and look away from Mr. Aizawa. I feel like I held everyone back today. If I weren’t there, then Aya-chan wouldn’t have had to save me. Aya-chan sees me, and her sixth sense is tingling. She asks me what is wrong, and I whisper to her in an annoyed mutter, “I just felt like a burden today.”

Aya-chan looks offended and says in a passionate whisper, “That isn’t true at all.” Mr. Aizawa stops his analysis of today’s training and says, “Anything you would like to add, love-birds?” Shoji chimes in, “Sekai felt like she was a burden today, even though she wasn’t.” Mr. Aizawa looks at me and says, “Shoji’s correct, Mochizuki. You were not a burden for the rest of the class. In fact, using your quirk, you were the first to locate the student villains, and you got the rescue squad to the victim very quickly. I can understand why you would feel that you were carried, but you are thinking about it wrong. You did something you were terrified of doing to save someone in need, and the rescue couldn’t have been done that quickly without your quirk. You were exceptional, just like the others.

I start blushing at the praise and stick my hands in my pockets while looking down and avoiding eye contact with the rest of the class. Goddamnit. It is precisely times like this when I wish I could fade into the background like Ayaka. Aya-chan hugs my arm and presses her breasts on me and whispers in my ear in that sexy voice of hers, “See, I told you. My amazing and adorable sidekick.” That, on top of me being flustered, gives me a nosebleed, and Aya-chan giggles while passing me a tissue. Tsu and Toru laugh and join us and say to Aya-chan, “You really love to give her nosebleeds, don’tcha Ayaka.” Aya-chan sticks out her tongue playfully, “Guilty as charged.”

Mr. Aizawa clears his throat to regain control, and he says, “Now that this training drill is over, get changed and go get lunch. Don’t be late for your afternoon lecture.” We say in unison, ““”Yes, Mr. Aizawa.””” We all start walking towards the locker rooms, and Mineta approaches Toru and says, “I like what you did with your hair today, Hagakure. It looks nice.” She braided her iridescent hair in a cute way. After he said that, he walked away, and I stood there shocked. Aya-chan gives him a thumbs up that he catches during a glance, and he smirks. I say, “Wow. I almost don’t recognize him.” Aya-chan smiles her hero’s smile and says, “Yeah. At this rate, we will have to stop calling him a pervert.”

The ‘compliment on the move’ thing Mineta did was actually talked about during one of the short series episodes we are doing with Uwabami and Mount Lady. They have been airing these very short episodes during the commercial breaks of other programs. The main point of that episode was not treating women as objects, but rather how men can compliment women in ways they like and make them feel safe. He must have watched it and learned from it. I know his progress really makes Aya-chan happy since that means her dream world can be realized if someone like Mineta can change for the better. If someone as perverted as Mineta can learn not to be gross, then there is hope for the rest of humanity. Speaking of filming those short episodes, we have to go to the film studio after school to film another one. I really dislike being on camera, but this is all for Aya-chan’s dream world.

We get to the lunchroom, which pulls me out of my thoughts, and we order our food and get our friends' lunches as well. The students were scared shitless the first few times they saw Garlic pop out of his Poké Ball, but since it has been a little over a month since we returned from summer break, they are well acquainted with his now larger size. Lunch Rush was initially confused by the larger order, since it was a lot, and he came out to personally greet Garlic when we first returned. Aya-chan laughed so hard. I smirked, thinking of Aya-chan’s beautiful smiling face as she laughed, as I ate Lunch Rush’s delicious shrimp tempura.

Aya-chan sees my smirk and asks, “What is it?” I blush furiously and choke a little on my shrimp tempura at the sudden question that pulls me out of my memories. Aya-chan laughed, “Were you thinking of me?” I nod as I wipe my mouth with a napkin and drink some water to chase down the bit of tempura slightly lodged in my throat. After a few gulps of water, it isn’t lodged in my throat anymore, and I sigh in relief. Her naughty switch has been flipped, and she hugs my arm, and I start to short-circuit. She whispers in my ear in that sexy manner of hers, “Were you thinking of something naughty?” I get a nosebleed from a mixture of being flustered by her questions, her voice, and her breasts on my arm.

Our classmates laugh at me while Aya-chan grabs a tissue from her tattoo and hands it to me, which I use to immediately stop my nosebleed. I mutter to Aya-chan, “It was actually innocent, you know…” Aya-chan abandons her food and locks in on me and asks, “What were you thinking about?” My blush returns, and Tsu, Toru, Yaomomo, Jiro, and Ashido are leaning in, also awaiting my response. I mutter, barely audible and very flustered while turning away from our classmates, “I- I w-was just thinking of y-your beautiful laughing face when Lunch Rush first got Garlic’s order when we first came back from break…” They squeal at my response, including Aya-chan, and I groan, “Why do you love making me say embarrassing shit, Aya-chan?” I lower the hood on the jacket I am wearing over my uniform, filled with a deep desire to fade into the background like Ayaka does.

Ayaka lifts my blushing face and makes me blush more as she looks at me with those passionate purple eyes, and she says while she smiles at me, “You know the answer to that.” I do.She just loves seeing my reactions. She giggles in that seductive way she does, and that was the final straw to summon another nosebleed as I continue to hold this tissue to my nose. Weird-eyes, and Mr. Aizawa passes by with Eri, who sees me holding blood at my nose. She looks horrified and asks, “Are you ok? You are bleeding.” MY HEART. I stammer in response while clutching my chest with my free hand that isn’t holding my nose, “Y-y-yes. I am ok.”

Ayaka hands me a new tissue since the one I had is now completely crimson, and Tsu says, “Her girlfriend likes to tease her sometimes, but she is just fine. Ribbit.” I blush more as I hold this tissue to my nose, and Eri asks, “What kind of teasing makes you bleed like that?” I am so glad I didn’t have anything in my mouth at this moment because I would have probably choked on it as I cleared my throat in surprise. Ayaka laughs and says, “You wil-” Mr. Aizawa cuts her off, “It is probably best for Eri to leave this conversation at this point.” He looks at Eri and asks her, “Would you like some ice cream, Eri?” Her eyes shimmer with excitement, and she nods and holds both Mr. Aizawa’s and Togota’s hands as Togota says excitedly, "Oooo, I want ice cream too. My favorite is vanilla with sprinkles, what is your favorite, Eri?" Eri responds adorably, "I like the chocolate!"  Mr. Aizawa looks back at Ayaka with a furrowed brow as they walk away, and she flashes her ‘I am innocent’ smile.

We watch her walk away with her innocent excitement as she fantasizes about her chocolate ice cream, and I unknowingly tug on Aya-chan’s sleeve in a subconscious attempt to make sure she is seeing what I am seeing. When Eri was gone, it was then that I realized I was holding Aya-chan’s sleeve. I immediately let go, and Aya-chan reaches for the hand that was gripping her, and she whispers in my ear in that sexy voice of hers, “You know I love it when you pull on my sleeve like that.” Being slightly embarrassed already, plus her sexy voice, I get yet another nosebleed, which causes the tissue in my nostrils to become drenched in crimson just like the first one. Our classmates laugh at me again, and Jiro says after her fit of laughter, “I think if you tease her much more, she may need to get a blood transfusion.” Her comment elicited more laughs from our classmates in the immediate vicinity.

After classes, we changed into Fumiaki and Hanzo, then went to the film studio, where we met up with Miss Hanako, Mt. Lady, and Uwabami. When we arrive, Miss Hanako, who was talking over cosmetic details in the scene with the others, pauses and greets us, “Great, you are finally here. Hope your day has been going well.” Fu-chan responds with her charm in her deep, masculine, Fumiaki voice, “Our day got better after seeing you.” Miss Hanako blushes and says after clearing her throat from being flustered, “Ahem. G-go to your changing rooms over there. Just like last time, I laid out the outfits that I want you to wear.” We nod and walk to our dressing rooms. I hear Mt. Lady say while picking fun at Miss Hanako, “Is someone falling in love over there?” Fu-chan giggles as she shuts herself in her changing room.

They used to have us change in one room, but Fu-chan kept getting distracted while we changed, so they split up our dressing rooms. I go in and see a nice, low-neck, button-up designer black shirt, a designer gold necklace, and black designer jeans, and shiny black shoes with gold embellishment to match the necklace. I put everything on, and my masculine chest is on full display. These pants are a little form-fitting, but they go with the look Miss Hanako is going for. I walk out and see Ayaka wearing a mostly blue designer shirt with some black accents to complement her black hair, as Fumiaki.

She runs her fingers through her black hair and approaches me while biting her lip and says, “Damn, Han-chan, you look so hot.” I blush furiously as she has closed the distance and caresses my slightly exposed chest, and I stammer, “S-s-s-so do you, Fu-chan.” She giggles, and Miss Hanako says in a worried, almost scolding tone to Fu-chan, “Don’t make him get a nosebleed yet, Fumiaki.” She groans as she pulls away from me, “Ugggggh, fine.” Uwabami giggles, “You two are always like this, but it never gets old.” Mt. Lady chimes in, “But their flirting does make filming take longer. I was so hungry by the end of the last shoot.

Fu-chan rubs the back of her head while smiling her ‘I am innocent’ smile and turns on the charm, “We will try to control ourselves more today. How about we treat you to dinner at The Golden Geisha after shooting as an apology?” Mt. Lady looks like she is fantasizing about food already and asks, “Can I get anything I want?” Fu-chan giggles, “Yes, anything you want at The Golden Geisha, and we will foot the bill.” Miss Hanako asks, “Is the invitation for me as well?” Fu-chan responds, “It was for all three of you, though, we can treat the camera crew as well.” The camera crew is so excited and murmuring amongst themselves that they could eat fancy food.

Miss Hanako sits us down at the table in here. “Before we start filming, read over the script. The topic for today is ‘how to handle rejection’.” We took a few minutes to read over the short script, and I sighed in relief that I don’t have many lines and mine are at the end of the first scene. The others are taking more time since they have more contributions to the scene than I do. One of the camera crew assistants sees that I have finished and brings over a basket with a few bottles of juice/soda and some snacks. I instantly perk up and grab a bottle of juice and a bag of Kaki no Tane. I bow slightly awkwardly in my chair to the assistant in thanks, then I open the bag and pop a few of the crescent-shaped rice cracker chips and peanuts in my mouth and moan.

I quickly eat the bag of chips and get about halfway through drinking my juice when it appears they are about to start filming. We get up, and everyone takes their places on set. I am standing next to Fu-chan by a fake door and waiting for the start of the scene. Miss Hanako says loudly, “Everyone in position? Fantastic. Alright, now 3. 2. 1. CUE.” We walk into this coffee shop-type space where Mt. Lady and Uwabami are chatting in a non-distinctive conversation while sipping on beverages. Fu-chan approaches them per the script while I hold back and ‘look jealous’ per the script. That isn’t a hard thing to do, because I think that is the feeling I feel when she flirts with girls for these cover identities of ours. I literally don’t have to do any acting for this, which is nice.

Fu-chan approaches them and says with her full charm engaged, “I am sorry to interrupt your conversation, but I was wondering if you lovely ladies would allow us to join you for coffee.” Uwabami says, blushing and looking up at Fu-chan, “Yes.” Miss Hanako yells, “CUT!” Mt. Lady laughs, “You dumb dumb, you are supposed to reject him.” Uwabami covers her face in embarrassment and says, “I am sorry. I got caught up and forgot about the script. I would like to see you do it.” Mt. Lady laughs and says, “BET.” We ran the scene again with Mt. Lady responding instead of Uwabami, and she made the same exact mistake. Uwabami laughs at her so hard while pointing at her obviously feeling vindicated. Miss Hanako sighs and says, “Ok, we will just alternate between the two of you until one of you can get through the scene.”

After that failed attempt, we do it a few times and they keep flubbing it in the same way. After several failed attempts, Uwabami does it again. We get through our part of the script, and it is up to her. She blushes and smiles, then says, “Sorry, we were just wanting to spend time alone today.” Fu-chan continues with the script and bows apologetically, “I am sorry to have disturbed you, ladies.” She turns back to me, and I pull on her sleeve and say in a pout, “Pay attention to me instead, Fu-chan.” It is funny, because I don’t think I would have said these words out loud, but I really do feel this way when she flirts with others, and these words verbalize the feeling I have inside. Though it is embarrassing to say out loud. Fu-chan bites her lip and says, while we approach off-screen to order drinks, “You have my full attention, Han-chan. Let’s get something to drink, shall we?”

Miss Hanako holds her hand up for a bit and then yells, “CUT! Great work, everyone! Now, let’s do the follow-up scene!” We switch gears for the next scene, and I pick up my half-full juice bottle and drink it since I am not in this scene. One of us usually handles this scene solo, reads through the whole script while looking into the camera, and today it is Fu-chan’s turn. Fu-chan sits in a fake booth that appears to continue on-screen, but in reality, there is nothing behind the camera where the booth is supposed to wrap around.

Miss Hanako looks at both Fu-chan and the cameraman, and both nod, and she gives the countdown, “3. 2. 1. CUE.” Fu-chan looks into the camera and begins, “Rejection sucks. Let’s be honest. Though rejection is sadly a part of life. We men, have no right to feel upset when a woman tells us no. Women are not objects to be conquered, but human beings like us men who deserve to be heard as well. If a woman rejects you, just apologize for taking up her time and go about your day. That is all we have for today. Thank you for watching.”

She flashes her hero smile and waves to the camera for a moment, then she looks at me standing to the side watching her, and she summons me in a sing-song voice, “Oh, Han-- chan.” I join her even though this is not in the script, and join in the waving to the audience. Fu-chan improves, “Now to give our audience a little fan service. She stops waving and starts touching my slightly exposed chest and bites her lip in that sexy way she does. She uses her hand closest to the booth to reach across herself, using her collar as a barrier so people can’t read her lips, and she whispers so softly that the camera doesn’t pick it up, “I am going to rail you so hard later.” I blush furiously, imagining our intimacy, and I get a nosebleed as she lowers her collar to expose her mischievous smirk as she continues to touch my chest. Miss Hanako is having a silent conversation with the cameraman to make sure he is getting it all, which I am currently missing because I am so flustered. Miss Hanako silently counts down with her fingers for the cameraman, and he cuts the feed when the countdown is over.

Miss Hanako squeals, “That was perfect! That improvisation was adorable, yet expected!” Mt. Lady’s stomach growls, and she chuckles, “I guess that is our cue to go to dinner? Remember, I don’t have my wallet.” Uwabami sighs, “Since when do you ever carry your wallet? I honestly can’t think of one time.” Mt. Lady looks a little offended, and she says, “Well - I - the last time - ummmm-” She looks like she is struggling to find a time when she actually carried her wallet, and Uwabami started laughing, “You can’t even remember either.” She continues laughing, and we all take the company cars to go to The Golden Geisha for dinner.
