Manager Gao lay there, her face flushed.

Li Yang stood there and gulped.

Manager Gao considered his question and found herself answering, "Her status?"

"Exactly!" Li Yang nodded. "Rich men, well, they’re easily led astray. You know better than I do that a woman who has had a child can start to lose her appeal in her husband’s eyes. "I have a question for you," Manager Gao asked, her curiosity piqued. "Why do you want to work here?"

"I need money," Li Yang said, a hint of frustration in his voice. "I need a lot of money, fast. Your establishment deals with high-end clients, so I figure I can make a killing here. Oh, and by the way, I’d be a partner, not an employee. Let’s get that straight from the start. You can’t afford to pay me a salary."

Manager Gao laughed. "Alright, we can give it a try. What kind of partnership did you have in mind?"

This was the most important part.

"Here’s what I was thinking. We’ll create an ’Imperial’ level package at your center. It’ll be the same treatment I just gave you: three consecutive days, half an hour per day. Guaranteed complete restoration. And the price will be..."
