The Supreme Village Doctor

Chapter 166 - 167: A Perfect Solution

Chapter 166: Chapter 167: A Perfect Solution

Ms. Wu herself was stunned. She had absolutely no idea her husband had a terminal illness.

’Li Yang is just spouting nonsense!’

The man’s expression turned grim. "You..."

"A cerebral thrombosis, right?" Li Yang said coldly. "It’s already very severe. The doctors can’t do anything for you, and they’ve told you that you don’t have long to live. Correct?"

"Honey..." Ms. Wu’s tears started to fall.

’She really had no idea!’

"You have a way, don’t you? Please, help him. Help me..." Ms. Wu cried out as she knelt before Li Yang.

"I..." The man wanted to say something harsh, but in the end, he couldn’t get the words out.

"Allow me," Li Yang said earnestly. "Sister Wu has told me a great deal, and she begged me to save you. So, how about this? Come inside with me."

The man swallowed hard. "You... you can save me?"

For someone who had already received a death sentence, hearing those words ignited a powerful will to live.

He wouldn’t give up, not even for a sliver of hope.

"Of course," Li Yang said with conviction. "Please, come in."

"Go on, hurry," Ms. Wu urged her husband. She had complete faith in Li Yang’s medical skills. "He’s a Divine Doctor," she said earnestly. "He can definitely cure you. Go on inside."

Mr. Zheng nodded and followed him in.

Li Yang had him lie down and quickly began administering the acupuncture needles.

After manipulating the needles for about ten minutes, Li Yang withdrew them. "That should do it," he said. "I’ll write you a prescription. Go home, have it filled, and take the medicine as directed. You’ll be perfectly fine."

Mr. Zheng sat up. He took a moment to assess how his body felt and realized it was indeed different than before.

"If you don’t believe me, you can go back to the hospital for a check-up right now. See what their new report says," Li Yang said earnestly. "I’ll write out your prescription. Go get it filled and start taking it."

With that, he handed the newly written prescription to Mr. Zheng.

Mr. Zheng accepted it in a daze and followed Li Yang out of the room.

"Sister Wu, you can take Mr. Zheng home now," Li Yang said with a nod.

"Okay!" Sister Wu hurriedly led Mr. Zheng away.

Once downstairs, Mr. Zheng immediately said, "We’re not going home. I’m going to the hospital. I feel better, I need to get checked again. Hurry..."

Having no other choice, Sister Wu took him to the hospital.

After running through the tests at the hospital, the results came back quickly.

"You’re cured?" The doctor was stunned when he saw the results. "How did you manage this? How is your cerebral thrombosis just... gone? This is impossible..."

Mr. Zheng snatched the report and glanced at it, then suddenly burst out laughing. "I’m cured! I’m really cured! This is wonderful! Honey, I’m cured...!"

Ms. Wu wept as she patted his back. "Honey, it’s all right now. Everything’s all right..."

"Let’s go! We have to go back and thank him properly!" Mr. Zheng said urgently. "He’s the one who saved me, and I completely misunderstood you both. Come on, let’s go back and thank him properly!"

Meanwhile, Li Yang was in Manager Gao’s office.

Although Li Yang had defused the situation, there was no telling when another person like that might show up. Ultimately, the matter required further discussion.

"Manager Gao, I have an idea. How about I teach your staff?" Li Yang said, voicing the very thought she had.

Manager Gao’s heart skipped a beat. This was exactly what she had been thinking, but it would have been improper for her to suggest it if he hadn’t brought it up first.

"Mr. Li, you’re willing to do that?"

Anyone would know how valuable this technique was. It was one of a kind; no one else knew how to do it.

"Before, I definitely wouldn’t have been," Li Yang said with sincerity. "But today’s incident was unexpected. I know someone informed on us, and the whole situation is just messy. If I teach your staff, then I won’t have to personally intervene anymore. That would be a much more sensible arrangement, don’t you agree?"

"What are your conditions?" Manager Gao was secretly delighted, though she knew it couldn’t be that simple.

’He’s a sharp one.’

Li Yang smiled, then gave it a moment of thought before saying, "My conditions... they aren’t too strict, actually. I’ll require a tuition fee."

"How much?" Manager Gao asked, her voice tinged with excitement.

"Three and a half million," Li Yang stated his price.

"Are you insane?" Manager Gao was stunned. That was an astronomical sum.

She immediately shook her head. "That price is far too high. It’s impossible. I can’t agree to such a high price."

Li Yang chuckled. "I know the price seems high, but think about it. This treatment package costs over thirty thousand a pop. At three and a half million, you only need to find a hundred or so clients willing to pay for it, and you’ve already made your money back. I’m confident that with the client base you’ve built over the years, plus some you can poach from competitors, finding a hundred people won’t be difficult, right? Everything after that is pure profit."

’He’s not wrong,’ Manager Gao thought, her interest piqued.

"But it’s still too expensive," Manager Gao said. "How about this: give me a lower price, and I’ll discuss it with my boss."

Li Yang smiled. "You want me to lower the price? Fine, I can agree to that. But if I do, it will no longer be an exclusive deal. I can teach your people, sure, but I can teach others too. However, if you pay the three and a half million, I will only teach this skill to your company. At that point, you’ll have no competition. You can completely dominate the market!"
