"The doctors predicted you have about half a month left to live, correct?" Li Yang said coolly. "So your trip, and giving away the cats... those are all things you wanted to do before you die."

"You... Get out!" Hua Lvlan practically screamed.

Tears started to well up in Zhang Rong’s eyes. She knew Li Yang had hit the mark.

"Get out right now! You’re not welcome in my house! You filthy man, get out...!"

Li Yang sighed and said, "Professor Hua, your illness... I can cure it."

"Nonsense! Leave at once." Professor Hua couldn’t possibly believe him. She had seen the top specialists to no avail, which is why she had fallen into despair.

"Lu Lan, he really is a doctor! Do you remember Yun Meng? He’s the one who cured her! Just let him take a look!"

Zhang Rong said urgently.

Something stirred in Hua Lvlan’s heart.
