Chapter 2410: Chapter 2410: Absolute Power
When Jing Yan executed the palm seal, the master Shi Tianshuo of the Blood Moon Gang and many other bandits quickly reacted, each hastily activating their Divine Power.
This group of bandits was indeed somewhat apprehensive of Jing Yan at the moment, but even though they were aware of Jing Yan’s strength, they were not going to surrender without a fight—they were bound to resist.
Among these bandits, there were quite a few in the Immortal Rhythm Netherworld Realm level. Almost all of them took action together, creating an imposing scene.
"Bang!" The palm seal struck by Jing Yan rapidly enveloped the heads of Shi Tianshuo and his men.
Shi Tianshuo and the others cried out as they attempted to defend, each showcasing their most formidable techniques.
But in the next moment, their bodies trembled, and expressions of horror appeared on their faces. All their attacks disintegrated instantaneously upon hitting the palm seal. Even Shi Tianshuo’s methods couldn’t last even a blink of an eye.
"It’s over!" Shi Tianshuo exclaimed in desperation.
The feeling of despair haunted everyone’s hearts. They finally understood how terrifying Jing Yan’s strength was. His power exceeded their comprehension. Even Shi Tianshuo, who had dealings with genuine Immortal Venerables before, found Jing Yan’s prowess far more dreadful.
"Hwawhaa!" The palm seal within the space did not press down on Shi Tianshuo and his men; rather, it swept past their heads, reaching the sky above their encampment’s post.
Behind Shi Tianshuo and his men lay the camp of the Blood Moon Gang. This post had been established for quite some time, bolstered by numerous formations. Although these formations could not compare to those of large cities, they were capable of withstanding attacks from average Immortal Venerable experts for a while.
"Boom!"
"Crack crackle!"
As the palm seal descended, the layers of formations covering the camp erupted with bright halos. As these halos activated, all the formations were frontally destroyed. In just a breath’s time, the big array inside and outside the camp was annihilated.
The formations were utterly obliterated, and the gigantic palm seal continued downward. In an instant, the entire camp was reduced to dust beneath the palm seal.
When all the noise subsided, the camp of the Blood Moon Gang was razed to the ground. In the air, only the scattered dust drifted outward.
Shi Tianshuo and his men felt a chill throughout their bodies; at this moment, they didn’t even possess the courage to flee. The weaker bandits couldn’t stop trembling uncontrollably, their gazes toward Jing Yan filled with dread and fear.
Where exactly did this monster come from?
Is he an expert at the Immortal Venerable Peak Level? How could such a strong individual suddenly appear to build a city deep within the Thunder Domain?
What is this person’s origin?
"Shi Tianshuo, do you understand now? To kill you all would be easy for me. Yet I am giving you a chance to live, which you should be grateful for. Of course, if you seek death, I can oblige you." Jing Yan retracted his hand and said slowly.
"Lord Jing Yan, we were blind! We... the Blood Moon Gang, from now on, would like to heed Lord Jing Yan’s commands." Shi Tianshuo quickly bowed his head and said submissively.
"Good! Very good! Extremely good!" Jing Yan smiled.
He glanced around and said, "So... what about the others? Does anyone still find my demands excessive?"
"Willing to follow Lord Jing Yan’s commands!" The Second Master immediately surrendered.
In the face of absolute strength, the only way to survive was to capitulate; any schemes or trickery were futile.
"It seems we have reached a consensus." Jing Yan nodded with a smile once again.
"Actually... if I weren’t short-handed in needing assistance recently, I wouldn’t accept you people. You guys are quite lucky. Maybe some of you now think little of what I said, but soon you’ll understand how fortunate you are to rely on me, Jing Yan. Your fate has already changed."
"Now, listen carefully, since you’ve joined Hongmeng City, you are no longer connected to the Blood Moon Gang. From now on, none of you may attack and loot cultivators; this is the iron law of Hongmeng City. Anyone who violates this iron law will surely die. Do you understand?" Jing Yan’s aura slightly condensed, releasing a surge of Divine Soul Power, which enveloped all the Blood Moon Gang bandits present.
Including Shi Tianshuo, all the bandits responded promptly in agreement.
"Very good!"
"You are now members of Hongmeng City, but since we’ve just met, my understanding of you is limited. Therefore, I need you to perform a small task to prove your loyalty."
"I want to place a small seal within your Divine Soul Bodies. Rest assured, as long as you don’t betray me, the seal will not harm you. If you turn against me, Jing Yan, the seal will instantly obliterate your Divine Souls. Soon, you will feel a presence within your Divine Soul Body; do not resist it. Resistance means death!" Jing Yan said sharply.
Shi Tianshuo and others naturally wouldn’t want Jing Yan to seal their Divine Soul Bodies, but they had no choice—they didn’t possess the ability to resist nor the grounds to bargain. When they felt a force appearing in their Divine Soul Bodies, most dared not resist.
There was, however, a small portion who bravely attempted to fend off Jing Yan’s seal. Their fate, naturally, was to have their Divine Souls extinguished, falling silently to the ground. Such individuals numbered roughly one in ten.
"Lord Jing Yan, why is that?" Shi Tianshuo anxiously inquired as he saw dozens of his subordinates collapse.
"Those people were unruly and deserved to die. Well, now those of you still alive have earned my trust." Jing Yan waved dismissively.
"Your post has been demolished; join me and head to Hongmeng City now." As Jing Yan finished speaking, he turned and flew away.
Shi Tianshuo and his men watched as Jing Yan flashed and flew off.
"Big brother, what should we do now?" The Second Master looked at Shi Tianshuo.
"What else can we do? If you don’t want to die, follow Lord Jing Yan!" Shi Tianshuo sighed deeply.
This group of Blood Moon Gang bandits followed Jing Yan in a grand procession toward Hongmeng City.
"Third brother, you bastard! You’ve really screwed us over!" The Second Master cursed Ma San while flying.
"Second brother, I... I didn’t want things to turn out this way either! Lord Jing Yan’s power is too terrifying; I have no room for resistance at all. Besides, even if I hadn’t brought him here, he would have found us himself." Ma San said with a face full of grievance.
