The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 2241: Thought She Was One of Nathalie Quinlan’s ‘Friends’

Giordano Yancey fell silent.

The two words Red Alliance alone were enough to crush Lincoln Hoffman a hundred times over, not to mention that @ilovebeingskinny was one of its core members.

After Nathalie Quinlan found a teacher for Edric Yancey, she didn’t bother to check the message Candice Yancey had sent her.

She stood up and went to take a shower.

The next day.

Mrs. Davidson came to the door.

The place where Amadeus Yancey lived was a Villa district, and it was rare for outsiders to come in on normal days.

Mrs. Davidson herself didn’t even know how she had managed to track this place down.

When she came over, Alfred Garland only saw a black private Car parked outside the Villa, and very soon Mrs. Davidson got out as the driver opened the door for her.

She kept herself up quite well, wearing a long black velvet dress, a brown shawl draped over her shoulder, her long Hair elegantly coiled behind her ears, looking every inch the well-bred lady.

She got out of the Car and walked over with dignified grace. The moment she saw Alfred Garland, she immediately asked politely, "Excuse me, does Ms. Quinlan live here?"

Alfred Garland gave her a once-over from head to toe, frowned, and asked, "Who are you looking for?"

Mrs. Davidson forcibly pressed down the displeasure in her heart, brushed back her Hair, and said with a smile, "I’m looking for Nathalie Quinlan. Is Ms. Quinlan here?"

"Oh, you’re looking for Ms. Quinlan." Alfred Garland had always known that there were quite a few ’friends’ around Nathalie Quinlan whom he didn’t know.

Although he didn’t know Mrs. Davidson’s identity, he instinctively filed her under that Group of ’friends’ of Nathalie’s whom he didn’t know.

So his attitude toward Mrs. Davidson was rather respectful, and he invited her into the Villa to wait.

"Please come in first."

At first Mrs. Davidson had been worried she wouldn’t get in, but she hadn’t expected things to go so smoothly. She followed behind Alfred Garland into the Villa.

Alfred Garland arranged for her to Sit down on the Sofa in the Living Room, poured her a cup of Coffee and placed it on the table, then said politely, "Please Sit. I’ll go get Ms. Quinlan for you."

"Sorry to trouble you." Mrs. Davidson picked up the cup, lowered her head to take a sip of Coffee, steadied her mood, then began to size up the interior of the Villa.

Sadam Vinson was the first to hear the commotion outside and came out of his room.

As soon as he came out, he saw a Stranger sitting outside.

She looked about forty-five or forty-six, with excellent bearing all around, clearly not one of the Ordinary people.

He scratched his head, puzzled as to who the hell this was.

Amadeus Yancey happened to be coming out of the study as well.

"Hey, Amadeus, who’s that out there sitting outside?" Sadam Vinson, having found someone who might know, grabbed him at once.

Amadeus Yancey had just finished a video conference with Vincent Moore and was nursing a headache. Hearing him, a shard of impatience flickered through his eyes. He answered lazily, in a laid-back drawl: "Hmm?"

Sadam Vinson jutted his chin, motioning for him to look outside. "That one, the woman sitting on the Sofa—who is she? I’ve never seen her before."

Previously, it had always been Amadeus Yancey who would Come Forward to deal with the Davidson Family people, and Alfred Garland and Sadam Vinson truly had never seen Mrs. Davidson in person.

Not recognizing Mrs. Davidson was normal.

But Amadeus Yancey knew her.

He lifted his eyes just a fraction and immediately saw Mrs. Davidson, who was sitting in the Living Room of the Villa, looking around. His gaze turned cold; he hadn’t expected her to still dare to Come Forward to the door.

Just as Sadam Vinson was still asking.

He said, his tone utterly indifferent, "Someone from the Davidson Family."

"Someone from the Davidson Family?" The moment Sadam Vinson heard she was from the Davidson Family, his expression instantly looked like he’d swallowed a fly. Extreme disgust twisted his face. He turned his head toward the person in the Living Room and said, in a sour tone, "What’s she doing here?"

Amadeus Yancey was not someone easily fooled; with a single glance he saw right through Mrs. Davidson’s intention in coming specially to the house. He let out a cold, mocking snort. "Begging for mercy, I’d say."

Sadam Vinson was still circling around those three words.

Amadeus Yancey had already lifted his Leg and was walking over.

Mrs. Davidson had been waiting for Nathalie Quinlan to come downstairs, and she was already growing impatient from the wait. She kept checking the time on her watch, her brows knitted tightly together as she forced down the dissatisfaction in her heart.
