The Wizard's Pursuit of Truth

Wang Ya had to admit, he had underestimated the wealth of freshmen from Wizard Clans. It seemed Mosi Bailin’s status might have been even higher than Kadi Purple Gold Flower’s. The value of the items in the Witchcraft Bracelet far exceeded what he had gained from Kadi Purple Gold Flower.

But as a freshman from the islands, his position inherently made him default to Wizard Yi Si’s way of thinking.

Wizards considered pros and cons. If a matter was beneficial to Wang Ya, and he could bear the corresponding cost, he would do it without hesitation.

After putting it on and injecting Particle Energy, one could activate its Extraordinary Traits to change their facial appearance. Perhaps because it was a Low-tier Witchcraft Artifact, its limitations were significant; it could only alter the face and struggled to completely change one’s aura.

The Silver Gemstone that Mosi Bailin had thrown out was the "Force Field Gemstone." It disrupted the frequency of particle fluctuations within a certain range, causing chaos. Anyone whose Power was insufficient, or whose control over Particle Energy was not fine enough, would be affected, causing their Witchcraft to fail.

The "Healing Potion," when consumed, could heal physical injuries and remove toxins to a certain extent. If the deceased Arthur had drunk a bottle, he might have been able to heal his wounds.

The "Sweet Potion," upon consumption, could gather the surrounding natural particle energy, causing it to surge into the body and rapidly replenish depleted Particle Energy.

A thoughtful look flashed in Wang Ya’s eyes as he examined the last item: the "Water Guardian" that had formed Mosi Bailin’s aquamarine light wave. It was a construct of metal components implanted under the skin of the chest, engraved with various Wizard Runes and emitting intense Extraordinary Fluctuations.

A Witch Array Technique could be described as an alternative application of Witch Array Refining, and Wang Ya’s curiosity was piqued. On the table were more than ten different small metal pieces, components, and other parts. Only a Wizard skilled in this field could reassemble them and activate the Extraordinary Ability they contained.

He studied it for a while but made little progress due to his lack of the relevant Extraordinary Knowledge. Wang Ya shook his head. Like the Thorn Heart, this could only be sold as an Extraordinary Resource.

’An auto-triggering, life-saving Witch Array Technique component set... Its value is probably comparable to a Middle-tier Witchcraft Artifact, at least. Something you can only hope to stumble upon, not actively seek out.’

To know for sure, he would need to actually enter the Extraordinary market of the Wizard World.

He took out the red metal ring and emptied its contents: three books, two Witchcraft Scrolls, and that unknown Ancient Metal Badge.

After restoring some of the Particle Energy in his body, Wang Ya packed everything into the Silver Bracelet and put it on his left wrist.

Although the Silver Bracelet’s Grade was lower than the red metal ring’s, it was more suitable for Wang Ya to use, consuming less Particle Energy. Its only drawback was its smaller storage space.

The most important point was safety. Mosi Bailin was dead, and with Wizard Yi Si watching the Bailin Clan like a hawk, their future was uncertain.

The red metal ring was unknown and mysterious, and Wang Ya preferred things that were known and within his control. He decided that if he couldn’t figure out its origin, he would find an opportunity to sell it. It should fetch a good amount of resources.

One item remained on the desk: the book that looked like a diary but had been sealed by Witch Array Refining, locked by a Technique, and even preserved with a special form of Witchcraft.

Wang Ya’s curiosity had been piqued all along, and a fine, blue light shimmered in his pupils. He was determined to see what was so special about this diary.
