The action panel remained the same because beasts were simply pets, unlike bonded plants that became one with her spirit. Therefore, to command beasts, she had to give verbal orders. Whether they understood was another matter entirely.
It could be seen that beasts often had tendencies to betray their masters. The methods of controlling pets varied. For example, Nara was currently keeping hers confined and tethered, making it clear that there was no way to escape, and gradually teaching it who its true master was.
Sometimes this method worked, sometimes it didn’t. It depended on what additional techniques Professor Lily might employ. As for Ellie and her little Nocturnal Rabbit, she didn’t intend to keep it as a pet. Therefore, she didn’t care much about it. If it hadn’t insisted on following her, Ellie would have left the little creature in the cave.
Returning to the present situation, Ellie left the little Nocturnal Rabbit to continue its development in the pet ring while she focused on her own advancement.
She isolated herself from everything in this world, staying in her room and absorbing magic power for another half day before taking out the rune talisman and laying it out in front of her.

Her botanic power made everything easier, unlike the first time when she had not inspected anything. When she chose the Purple Mushroom, it was merely because it was cute. Today was different. Ellie moved forward, passing by many adorable creatures. Some little ones down there looked at her with interest, some even tried to invite her with their eyes, and others stared so endearingly that she almost turned to bond with them.
She reached the same spot as before, which had been occupied by the large purple dome—her Purple Mushroom. But now, the area was held by a simple vine.
The vine in front of her resembled those of Professor Medik. Ellie understood that if she chose it...ensnaring enemies would become her strength. However...she reminded herself that she already had the ensnaring ability from her Point-Stop Butterfly, the aura of beast. There was no need to duplicate this power.
Of course, her current aura of beast was at level 0, but she believed she could develop it further in the future.
Her small, translucent form floated past her previous stopping point, continuing forward. Ellie was now looking for a plant that resembled a beast and had strong combat abilities. In her last battle, she realized her lack of defensive capabilities. If she could find a plant that offered protection, acted as a shield, or served as a tank, it would be ideal.
If Ellie found a plant with tank-like qualities, it would be like discovering a treasure!
In real combat, she mainly relied on long-range attacks. As long as her bonded plant could withstand enemy attacks and draw attention away from her, preventing situations like the Fire-Eyed Yellow Cat leaping at her from all directions, and could counter-attack to create openings for her, it would be a perfect partnership.

This time, Ellie spent much more time than before. The advantage of having a higher level was that more bonded plants appeared. They had unusual and interesting colors until Ellie found a plant that met her criteria.
- Manchinel Blue Poison or Blue Apple of Disaster, Level 0 (Special): An apple shaped like a frog, with alternating blue and black colors. The stem has a glossy sheen similar to a blue poison frog. Its body is highly flexible, and its tough skin makes low-level physical attacks ineffective. It has poison bombs on its back that harm attackers. If attacked and the poison bombs explode, nearby enemies will be poisoned.

The Blue Apple of Disaster in Ellie’s eyes resembled the poison frogs from documentaries. Ellie had previously watched them because of their beautiful colors. If not for their deadly poison, many people would likely keep them as pets for their appearance.
In her world, it was called the Blue Poison Dart Frog, known for its vibrant blue color. Information indicated that its poison could kill more than 10 people at once, making it extremely lethal. However, the obvious difference was that the Blue Poison Dart Frog did not have round sacs on its back. In contrast, this Blue Apple had green spherical sacs, which contained its potent poison!
The Blue Apple wasn’t like ordinary plants; it didn’t need to root itself. Even the purple mushroom spores sometimes needed to root, but the Blue Apple didn’t. It could leap forward just like a real frog. For this reason...it wasn’t strange that Ellie chose it to be "Luke’s loyal beast."
Unlike other plants that had limbs resembling human arms and legs, the Blue Apple truly mimicked a frog. It looked at Ellie with hopeful eyes, and the more it saw her interest, the more the little apple jumped around excitedly.
Ellie could sense that the plants in the sea of spirits were eager to go outside. They tried to attract her attention, and there were many plants that caught her interest, especially those that had just appeared from her last visit.
She touched the head of the little Blue Apple with her translucent hand, just like before. Once chosen, it turned into a beam of light and shot into Ellie’s forehead, bringing her consciousness back immediately.
