Liujiao Alley, a secluded courtyard.

Zhang Zhaodi knocked on the door. It opened, and a gentle-looking middle-aged woman welcomed her inside.

"Things were awfully busy at the shop today, I got here a bit late; you weren’t too anxious waiting, were you?" Zhang Zhaodi asked the woman.

Mrs. Jiang replied softly, "I’m idle anyway, what’s the harm in waiting a little longer? If you’re busy, just focus on your work, my door is always open for you."

"Jiang, your temperament is too kind," Zhang Zhaodi said as she held her hand, touched, "Do you have other guests today? Why cook so much food?"

"My elder brother from my family came too," Mrs. Jiang said, "I made a few extra dishes for them to enjoy with drinks."

"Since you have guests, I’ll come to see you another day," Zhang Zhaodi said and turned to leave.

"Don’t leave, sister. Oh, come on, we’re all family, what’s the big deal?" Mrs. Jiang called out towards inside, "Brother, husband, come out quickly, Sister Zhang says she’s leaving!"

Mrs. Jiang’s husband, who had previously helped Zhang Zhaodi, came out with another tall, slender man. The former had a decent appearance, and the latter was refined and elegant, both looked good.

"Big sis, we’re all family here, it’s just a simple meal, no need to be a stranger," Mrs. Jiang’s husband Tong Chunlai said with a cheerful smile.

Mrs. Jiang’s brother Jiang Fang echoed, "Exactly. My sister talks about you, her sworn sister, all day long. If my uninvited arrival spoils things between you sisters, then I should be the one to leave."

"Alright then, I’ll stay for a bit," Zhang Zhaodi said, "I came today to tell you that the shop’s business has been booming recently, I might not be able to visit for quite a while."

Mrs. Jiang exchanged a glance with Tong Chunlai.

Tong Chunlai slapped his forehead, "Oh, my, I’ve forgotten, we’re out of wine at home. I’ll go buy some. You all start eating, I’ll be right back."

"We can begin with the wine." Mrs. Jiang poured a glass for Zhang Zhaodi.

Zhang Zhaodi sat close to Jiang Fang.

Sitting so close to an unfamiliar man made Zhang Zhaodi a bit uneasy.

Mrs. Jiang noticed and kept finding topics to discuss, helping Zhang Zhaodi relax.

"Here, this wine is quite good, try a sip." Mrs. Jiang refilled Zhang Zhaodi’s glass.

"Sister Jiang, you’ve been the first friend I’ve made in so many years," Zhang Zhaodi poured drinks for Mrs. Jiang and Jiang Fang, "That day I was robbed, big brother helped me retrieve the money bag. He got injured saving me, I felt deeply ashamed and took him to the clinic, then home, which led to knowing you. We sisters hit it off immediately, and have been getting along well these past days."

Mrs. Jiang listened to Zhang Zhaodi’s chat and said with a smile, "Indeed. I don’t have many friends either; meeting you was lucky, now I have someone to talk to. My husband has always loved standing up for others, that’s just what he does. He joked about having picked up a sister for me."

Tong Chunlai returned with the wine vessel.

"Wine is here."

"We’ve been waiting for you, come drink." Mrs. Jiang refilled his glass.

The night grew late; there was no moon tonight, perhaps the moon had gotten drunk too and didn’t want to show itself.

"It’s right here." A woman pointed to the door in front of Su Yaoguang, "I heard your mother is seducing my husband here."

Behind Su Yaoguang, Zhou Wangshu followed, and behind them were the Zhang Family Sisters. As for Jia Chunni, Jiang Jing, and Wang Huanzhi, they stayed at the shop, not brought along.

When that woman dragged Su Yaoguang to this dilapidated house, Grandma Su, Grandpa Su, and Uncle Su, along with Second Aunt Su rushed over. They encountered each other at the door.

"What are you all doing here?" Su Yaoguang glared sharply at Grandpa Su and Grandma Su.

Grandpa Su was always timid and weak; hearing Su Yaoguang’s questioning, his first instinct was not to argue but to look guiltily at Grandma Su.

Grandma Su felt this worthless person was becoming more and more imposing; in that moment facing her, she instinctively shivered, just like seeing their eldest son with the temper since childhood.

"Someone tipped us off saying your disgraceful mother is here cheating. We must come to catch her red-handed. Although your father is gone, she cannot tarnish his name."

"Who sent the tip-off, where’s the informant?"

"Don’t waste time." Second Aunt Su said, "You’re stalling to let your mother escape upon hearing the commotion, aren’t you?"

"Exactly, don’t try to fool us."

Grandma Su forcefully pushed the door open.

The woman who fetched Su Yaoguang followed close behind them.

Zhou Wangshu said moderately, "Words alone prove nothing, let’s go inside and see."

The group stormed into the room, furious.

The door wasn’t properly locked from inside; it was just slightly closed and opened easily with a push.

The room was very dark.

Before they could light a candle, shameless sounds of male and female pleasure emerged from within.

Hearing that noise, the woman charged in mad, wielding a feather duster to fiercely strike at the dark shadows on the bed.

"Shameless, shameless... Oh heavens, I’d kill you heartless wretch... And you tramp, daring to seduce my husband..."

"Oh..." Second Aunt Su exclaimed theatrically, "Big Sis is so loose! If she wants a man, she should just marry one, this sneaky, unceremonious affair surely tarnishes Yaoguang’s name."

Zhou Wangshu replied calmly, "You haven’t seen anyone, and you’re sure it’s my mother? Are you cats who can see in the dark?"

"Yaoguang, Wangshu, you two step outside." Zhang Pandi suggested.

"They can’t. Their mother is in here cheating; if they leave, who’ll deal with this?" Grandma Su said, "Light a candle, let them clearly see how shameless their mother is."

Uncle Su volunteered, "Let me do it."

His tone was excited, evidently enjoying the incident.

Uncle Su lit the flint, lighting the candles in the room.

However, it wasn’t enough; the firelight was still insufficient.

The two on the bed had stopped. They hid under the blanket, trembling, not daring to show their faces.

That woman was fiery, immediately found a torch in the courtyard, lit it, and charged into the room.

The moment the torch lit, the entire room became clear.

The woman tried to lift the blanket, but the people inside clutched it tightly, and she couldn’t uncover them.

Second Aunt Su grinned and said, "Let me help you."

Grandpa Su and Grandma Su were enraged, "Truly shameless."

Zhang Pandi and Zhang Yingdi blocked Su Yaoguang, "Yaoguang, you’re still a young girl; such matters..."

Don’t look, you’ll dirty your eyes.

However, when Zhang Pandi and Zhang Yingdi saw the two people revealed when the blanket was finally lifted, they stayed speechless in shock instead of finishing their words.
