Chapter 123: Chapter 123: Brooke York’s Ambition

The college entrance exams were over, and Chloe York enjoyed a few days of lazing around.

Watching the adult and child get into the luxury car, the teacher couldn’t help but sigh wistfully. "When will I ever get to ride in a car like that?"

"Forget about it, Teacher. A family like that isn’t one ordinary people like us can marry into," the security guard advised, seeing she had her eye on Adrian.

"And why not? We’re a perfect match, age-wise. Maybe Nora’s uncle has taken a liking to me. Why else would he be so eager to pick her up from school lately?"

The teacher was convinced the only reason Adrian had been so diligent about picking up his niece lately was because he was interested in her.

"Yay! We can go see Chloe! I’ve missed her so much." Hearing that she would get to see Chloe, Nora clapped her little hands in delight.

"But before we go, we have one thing to do first."
