Chapter 1173: Chapter 1173:
Leo Campbell took the car keys and turned around, getting into the car.
As he passed by Aurelia Shaw, Leo suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her into the car, threatening, "Don’t move! Or I’ll detonate the bomb... Ah!"
Before he could finish his sentence, Leo was kicked into the car. Mason Nightshade sneered coldly, "Ha! A bomb? Threatening me? No one who dares threaten me has ever lived to tell the tale."
Mason pulled Aurelia into his arms, his cold eyes narrowing, mouth curving into a thin, cold smile as he said in a deep voice, "If you want to detonate it, go ahead. I’ll make sure your father pays for this car."
Leo spat out a mouthful of blood, mixed with teeth. Dizzy from Mason’s kick, his head had slammed into the glass. His vision blurred as he staggered to his feet, looking at Aurelia, "I, I..."
Mason furrowed his brows, holding the back of Aurelia’s head, pressing her into his chest. He kicked the car door shut with a "bang" and pulled her inside, "Even if you die, you’re such an eyesore."
"Boss, what should we do with him? Just watch him blow the bomb?" Gustavo Yates asked.
"Blow what? Without a remote, how can he detonate anything? Capture him and throw him into the military prison," Mason said in a deep voice. With that, he hugged Aurelia and went inside.
Gustavo Yates glanced at the remote on the ground, then at the bloodied and despairing Leo. He waved for someone to go capture him.
...
Ursa Miller was restless inside the room.
Ever since receiving the call from Aurelia, she couldn’t stop worrying about what might happen. Until the knock on the door startled her.
"It’s me," Aurelia said.
Hearing the familiar voice, Ursa felt relieved, and her eyes warmed as she saw the familiar face at the door after many days. Tears streamed down uncontrollably, "Aurelia, you finally came back."
Aurelia smiled and wiped Ursa’s tears, "Silly girl, why are you crying when I’m back?"
Ursa suddenly realized how inauspicious that was, hurriedly wiping her tears, and then noticed Mason behind Aurelia, quickly greeting, "Hello, Young Master."
"Mm." Mason nodded, holding Aurelia’s hand, casually pushed open her bedroom door, and went inside. He turned back and said to Ursa, "Don’t disturb us."
"Oh! Alright!" Ursa nodded, the tension she felt earlier gone, replaced by a blush of embarrassment.
The young master and Aurelia are still so in love.
"Sis, I just heard Aurelia’s voice. Is she back?" Oberon Miller rushed out of the room, his features becoming more defined, his expression handsome. Though his appearance hadn’t matured, it was clear he would be a good-looking young man.
His eyes sparkled, lips slightly pale, but corners lifted in a smile.
Ursa knew what he was anticipating, nodding, "Yes, she’s back, in the bedroom..."
Before Ursa finished, Oberon dashed to Aurelia’s bedroom.
Ursa quickly stopped him, "You can’t go in! The Young Master is in there too."
"The Young Master?" Images of a handsome face flashed in Oberon’s mind, and he pressed his lips together, "Aurelia came back with him..." His tone was indescribably disappointed.
Ursa patted his head, "Looks like the Young Master and Aurelia have reconciled. That’s good. The Young Master truly has feelings for Aurelia. They just had a misunderstanding, and seeing them together again makes me happy."
Oberon didn’t say anything, turning back to his room.
...
Mason caught Aurelia’s chin, the other hand tugging at her collar, lowering his head, leaned in—
