Top-class Bodyguard

Chapter 1141 - 1117: I Was Just Thinking the Same Thing!

In that moment, Lucia's heart jumped into her throat; after seeing the images on the projector just now, there was no way she wasn't scared.

Noah's face was flushed with a kind of ecstasy. He was about to succeed— the organization's grand plan was about to be realized!

But just then, a wild, ferocious aura erupted from the side. A figure shot over at incredible speed, appearing beside him in an instant, and then a kick smashed viciously into Noah's body.

Bang!

Noah was sent flying in an instant!

Clang!

His body crashed onto a table. The researchers around them panicked, and when they looked up they realized that at some point, an extra person had appeared.

Ren Feng brought two fingers together like a blade, and directly chopped apart the ropes binding Lucia. Then he looked over at Noah.

"You?"

Noah climbed up from the floor, his face a mix of shock and fury. He never would've imagined that Ren Feng would show up here at a time like this!

Lucia stood up from the recliner and hid behind Ren Feng, while Ren Feng calmly looked at Noah. "Surprised?"

Noah truly lived up to being the one in charge; he calmed down quickly. "I didn't expect you'd walk in here on your own, but that just makes you a turtle in a jar."

"Mount Olympus— I don't know how you got up here, but once you're up, getting down is basically impossible. In fact, you're not even going to get the chance to walk out of this room."

Noah's face twisted in a cold smile. "Saves us the trouble of having to hunt you down. We'll just kill you here and be done with it."

"You're not the first one to say that."

Ren Feng spoke calmly, and suddenly he lashed out with a kick, sending the recliner skimming straight through the air, smashing toward Noah.

Noah didn't know any martial arts; he couldn't dodge in time and was directly blasted back by the flying recliner, jammed up against a table.

He had just started to struggle when, in the next second, Ren Feng stomped down hard on the recliner, pinning him so he couldn't move.

"Right now, you're in my hands."

Ren Feng said calmly.

The nearby researchers were in a complete panic and all bolted for the exit, but before they could get far, Ren Feng suddenly swept his hand. Violent True Qi blasted them all to the ground.

Noah stared at Ren Feng through gritted teeth, his eyes full of resentment and fear.

"Even if you kill me, you won't necessarily escape, and besides, you can't kill me."

"You're overthinking it."

Ren Feng said coolly. His right fist suddenly clenched and punched straight toward Noah's head.

"Let him go, or the princess dies."

Just then, a calm voice rang out.

Ren Feng's fist stopped abruptly a hair's breadth in front of Noah's face. He turned his head, expression dark, and looked ahead.

By Lucia's side stood a man in a tailcoat, his hand resting lightly on Lucia's neck.

Ren Feng's eyes narrowed slightly. This guy had appeared behind him soundlessly, just like those two from the Blood Race.

Lucia's expression remained calm. "Martin, you brought me here and now you want to kill me. Is this how you overstep your station?"

"Respected Your Highness, I never intended to kill you." Martin said with a smile. The smile on his face was identical to that Blood Race guy's.

"Let her go." Ren Feng said lightly.

"You let him go." Martin pointed at Noah.

"Together." Ren Feng said evenly.

"Fine."

Ren Feng lifted his foot, and Noah coughed as he staggered away. Martin also removed his hand from Lucia's neck.

Noah, coughing, backed out of the room, while Lucia moved to stand behind Ren Feng.

"Go to the corner."

Ren Feng said.

Lucia retreated to a corner, and Ren Feng and Martin stared each other down.

"So the truth is that Lucia's bodyguard colluded with the organization and brought her here?"

Ren Feng looked at Martin.

"That's right, I'm that bodyguard." Martin gave a slight smile.

"You betrayed the United Kingdom's royal family?"

"I wouldn't call it betrayal. I may be a member of the Blood Race, but I don't believe in this 'protect the royal family for generations' creed." Martin was still smiling. "I want to pursue my own interests."

"So what did the organization offer you?"

"Power." Martin smiled. "Power you can't even imagine. Want to try it out?"

"I was just thinking the same thing."

The two stopped talking. The atmosphere chilled rapidly, and in that brief span, killing intent flooded between them.

Swish!

All of a sudden, Martin's figure vanished. Almost in the same instant, he appeared right in front of Ren Feng, a fist slamming straight toward Ren Feng's face!

So fast!

Ren Feng's pupils contracted. Martin's speed was so great it actually gave him a sense of danger— faster even than those two under Noah!

In a flash of lightning, Ren Feng jerked his head to the side and Martin's punch whistled past.

Ren Feng's body snapped backward, his right hand swinging toward the other man, but Martin's kick came crashing in!

Bang!

The two of them directly exchanged a heavy blow. In that instant, both of them felt as if they'd taken a massive hit, their bodies shooting straight backward like arrows.

In midair, Martin twisted, still wearing that smile, and then—swish—he shot toward Ren Feng again at high speed.

Ren Feng slammed a foot against the metal wall behind him. With a booming thud the wall dented inward, his legs bent, and he launched himself like a cannonball straight back at Martin.

The two collided again, and in midair they started trading blows. You strike, I counter— every punch, every kick a basic move, but that only made their power stand out even more!

It had been a long time since anyone could go toe-to-toe with Ren Feng in pure hand-to-hand combat for this long. Just what had the organization given this Martin that made him this strong?

Doubt flickered in Ren Feng's mind. In that instant, Martin flickered to Ren Feng's side and grabbed straight for him, his hand turning into a claw in midair, trying to rip Ren Feng's arm clean off.

Ren Feng immediately swung his elbow hard, meeting him head-on. He'd never been afraid of a direct clash!

Bang!

They collided again. This time Martin staggered back a step. In the next moment, Ren Feng stepped in close, his attacks crashing down on Martin like a raging storm.

Martin retreated wildly, striking back as he went, but Ren Feng's assault was too ferocious. Martin couldn't block everything and was forced back against the wall.

Boom!

Martin jerked his head aside, and Ren Feng's punch blasted straight through the metal wall!

Ren Feng swept his right hand out, forcing Martin back, and then in the next instant he closed the distance again, slamming a heavy punch toward him.

Martin tried to defend, but the force behind this punch was astonishing; it broke through his guard and smashed brutally into his right arm.

Rip!

In that moment, the sleeve of his right arm shredded to pieces, and it felt as if the bones inside had been pulverized. He stumbled back again and again, half his body seeming to go limp from the impact.

Pinned against the wall, Martin lowered his head to glance at his injuries, then suddenly started laughing. "Not bad. You're really strong— strong enough for me to go all out."
