Top-class Bodyguard

Chapter 1259 - 1235: I Need You to Do Something for Me

Back then it all started because I became Xia Wenxue's husband, then I got dragged into Freemasonry, and up to now, Freemasonry is finally completely done for.

This full exposure this time will make sure Freemasonry never has any chance to make a comeback.

This matter ends here. The five great families were wiped out by Ren Feng's own hands, then he sent Freemasonry to its destruction as well. You could say the revenge is done.

Watching the footage on TV, Ren Feng couldn't help letting out a sigh.

Now that everything's settled, it's time to go.

Ren Feng made a call to Ailin and quickly got her address.

The two met in a restaurant in New York.

"Impressive, worthy of being the King of Mercenaries." Ailin clapped, her face full of admiration.

Destroying the five great families in a single day, and in three days making Freemasonry collapse—she, Ailin, admitted she couldn't pull that off.

"That title is in the past. I haven't been a mercenary for many years." Ren Feng's expression was calm.

"True. You're the Wind God now, after all. The name of the Wind God Hall's Hall Master is already ringing through Western Europe." Ailin smiled. "At the very least, there probably isn't anyone who dares go against you guys now."

"Can't say that for sure. Forget it, let's not talk about this. How'd you end up in New York?" Ren Feng was a bit puzzled.

"Well, I've got you to thank for that. With the collapse of the five great families and this time overturning Freemasonry completely, a lot of new opportunities opened up. I can't just stay in San Francisco forever, right? Maybe next time you come, I'll already be the CEO of a listed company."

Ren Feng smiled. "Good. Maybe next time I come, you'll be paying for my whole trip."

"No problem."

The two chatted for a while, then Ren Feng took out that disc.

"Pass this to Wind God Hall. Keep it safe, don't let anything happen to it."

Ailin took the already wrapped disc and smiled. "Don't worry."

Ren Feng's expression stayed calm. He wasn't planning to go to Western Europe again, but to head straight back home. From leaving Yanjing, to Western Europe, then to the United States, it had been a bit over a month.

So letting Ailin pass along this disc that Black Dragon and Fire Phoenix wanted was a pretty good choice.

He wasn't worried about Ailin hiding it, because Ailin knew which way the wind blew. If Black Dragon and Fire Phoenix didn't receive the disc, or the disc went missing, he'd just make Ailin disappear.

Besides, everything Ailin had now was thanks to Ren Feng. As an intel chief, there was no way she didn't see that.

"This thing should reach them within about three days. Anything else?"

Ren Feng raised his glass and took a light sip. "Nothing."

Ailin laughed. "When are you leaving?"

"Probably today or tomorrow. Can you get plane tickets?"

"If I were in San Francisco I could, but in New York my pull's a bit limited."

"Alright, I'll figure something out myself."

Ren Feng took another sip of his drink, then stood up, looked at Ailin, and said with a smile, "Hope you keep doing better and better."

"Should be 'we' keep doing better and better. I count as a member of Wind God Hall now, at least."

Ailin held out her hand.

Ren Feng gave a small smile and bumped her hand.

"Of course."

Ailin also took a sip of red wine, then left the restaurant. After she left, Ren Feng got up and left the restaurant as well.

He wandered the streets of New York at random, cap pulled low, so no one could really see his face.

First time he came to New York, he was only at Divine Realm level. Back then he and Long Yue were being hunted by the organization's experts. Now, he was already at the Yin-Yang Realm.

After the Yin-Yang Realm comes the Life and Death Realm, the Saint Realm, and then that "threshold." Ren Feng had always been curious what exactly that so-called threshold was.

By then, he should be able to touch it himself.

Ren Feng walked aimlessly down the street. He had no idea what realm the old man had reached now. With his current strength, he should be able to see through it, right?

In this not-quite-a-year, too much had happened.

Thinking about all of it, Ren Feng shook his head and tossed those thoughts away. For now, the priority was getting a plane ticket.

Following the route in his memory, Ren Feng headed for the Bronx District.

The first time in New York City, he'd escaped using the help of a local thug named Herman. Getting him to arrange some tickets wouldn't be a problem.

Arriving in the Bronx District, it was still that same rundown bar. Wearing his cap, Ren Feng walked inside.

The layout was the same as more than half a year ago. In the pool area, several black guys were playing.

"Oh, shit! That ball actually didn't go in?"

"Joy, I've got a hundred US Dollar on you. If you don't sink that ball, I'll shove this cue down your damn throat!"

A chorus of boos sounded off to the side. The corners of Ren Feng's mouth lifted slightly, then his gaze moved on. Not far away, he could see Herman sitting there, with someone beside him keeping him company very carefully, clearly asking Herman for something.

On the same couch where Ren Feng sat, there were a few other people who all looked extremely nervous.

"Wonder if Boss Herman will help us this time."

"God, he has to say yes. My company's success or failure all comes down to this."

Those people were beyond tense. Internally, Ren Feng gave a small shake of his head, then walked toward Herman.

"Hey, kid, what do you think you're doing?"

Some black guys noticed what Ren Feng was doing, immediately frowned, and stepped in front of him.

The people sitting on the couch all watched Ren Feng and couldn't help frowning slightly.

"Oh, I'm here to see Herman."

Ren Feng said lightly.

"You know the rules? Our boss has been in a good mood lately, that's the only reason he's doing people favors. But you still gotta follow the rules." One black guy said with disdain, "Go sit over there. When it's your turn, then you get to see our boss."

Ren Feng gave a small smile. "Looks like your boss has been doing better and better lately?"

"Kid, you looking for trouble?" Another black guy's face darkened. "Who in New York doesn't know our boss's status?"

Ren Feng shook his head and kept walking forward.

The people on the couch all shook their heads, a trace of contempt in their eyes. This young man was really asking to die. Even they had to act with the utmost respect when they came to Herman. Who did he think he was?

If he pissed off Herman, the guy might get chopped up and thrown out to feed the dogs.

"Courting death!"

The black guys lost their tempers too, and immediately swung their fists at Ren Feng. But their punches hit nothing. Ren Feng's body just seemed to blur, and he was already behind them.

The black guys looked like they couldn't believe it, but by then Ren Feng had already walked up to Herman, who was in the middle of a conversation.

"Herman, I'm here to have you take care of something for me."
