Time ticked for Moon, who once again, found himself unable to sleep.

Sleep eluded him whenever he closed his eyes, something he was unfamiliar with.

Dorbish’s words kept him awake, reassessing his choices and future plans. He, as a matter of fact, didn’t wish to have anyone he knew die again.

He wasn’t simply unwilling, but it was one thing he didn’t want to experience again.

’If I had known, would they have lived?’ He asked himself, yet no answer came.

He wiggled back and forth in the bed, thinking of how to keep Basil and Barrett alive. They were his men now, unlike Colten and his group.

Colten would work for him only until the second trial was over. He didn’t want to see his face again anyway.

Another notification came, assaulting his eyes with blue light. Half-closed, his eyes tried to read what was written.

He decided to check the status window at last, all of it, the pending messages and everything.

’Whoooooo!’ He exclaimed inwardly, his eyebrows climbing halfway to his hairline.

His Echo had gone up by 1, now 17, or 8 value without his sealed Death Echo.

Yet, the greatest difference was the separation of skills and arts.

Arcane Arts now had a section of its own independently.

’Does that mean there could be more updates in the future if things keep changing?’ He wondered.

He also had questions. ’Why did only Blade Mastery appear in skills and not his unarmed combat as well?’

’Why wasn’t Fate Alert also in the list?’

One question after another came to his mind that he had no answer to, nor anyone to ask.

Shaking his head, Moon dismissed the window. Samuel was doing an exceptionally great job increasing his pain tolerance over the last short few days.

Moon wasn’t exactly grateful about it, nor did he feel appreciation for his unrelenting efforts having him suffer all these weird pains that didn’t hurt just the body.

’Let’s not get distracted again.’ Moon thought, setting his mind onto the next course of action.

What seemed magnificent was that the crimson status window detected shockwaves as unique stats, giving it numerical value.

The Tower’s failed to see it. ’Was there a different reason for that?’ He wasn’t sure.

It was also his first time going berserk since the trial, as well as since he first had the status window.

Control for Power, which in essence matches the nature of Berserk. Lose your mind but become stronger. Still, it did detect his Mental Resilience since that time. Why did it only register Berserk after fighting Samuel?

’I’m not sure if it’s awesome or slow.’ He wondered, though he didn’t check it as frequently as he should.

He skipped the plus mark near his F+ rank Energy Control. It wasn’t very important now, even though it was an improvement.

His eyes fell on the word Sorcerer. ’What’s that?’

He had suspicions, but he made sure to scan the list one more time before concluding, ’It’s what they call Arcanists!’ The obvious.

Nodding to himself, now everything made sense, but a few little minor things.

’Now, what are these mixed dimensional energies?’ He rubbed his chin, looking around the crimson screen.

After scanning for a moment, he saw a small highlighted mark at the bottom.

Moon clicked it without much thought.

There, he saw the window where the old pendant was described, but it wasn’t the same.
