"Ah, shit, I almost forgot," Moon cursed, trying to push his body that was feeling rather heavier than usual up.

He walked to the door and opened it, only to have his eyes assaulted by the bright light of the hall. He frowned and tried to discern his surroundings.

He saw a familiar white something in front of his face, looking up, further and further away, till his deeply squinted eyes finally reached Uon’s head.

’What a stupidly bright and murderous face you have, brother Uon,’ he said inwardly once he saw the smile and yellow color radiating from Uon’s face.

"Good morning," Uon said. "Don’t forget our schedule today."

"Morning, big brother Uon," Moon said with a nod. "How long before it starts?" he asked.

"Around half an hour," Uon answered.

Moon scratched his head for a moment. "AH FUCK, MY BREAKFAST!" he suddenly screamed.

"What?" Uon squinted, not sure what was happening. Moon never truly bothered with his meals or the time he ate.

Such behavior was more of a lifestyle than forgetfulness.

But now?

Moon dashed across the room, putting on his shoes, taking Liquid Mountain in his hands.

He took a final look at himself in the mirror, his body and muscle progress as well. "Sigh~"

But there wasn’t much; only the patches he placed on his wounds were still there. "These are no longer needed, I guess."

Sheee~

He pulled the two of them, the one on his lower shin and the one on his side, off. He dropped them into the sink, looking at the small scabs, but with no pain or any kind of discomfort at all that he almost forgot they were even there.

Then, he broke into a sprint.

"Where are you going?" Uon asked, still perplexed.

"EAT, SAVE THE MUSCLES!" Moon answered without looking back. "FASTU FASTU, I’LL BE BACK!"

"O-okay..." Uon said skeptically; his voice had a hint of defeat.

Moon’s momentum pushed him past the doors of the eatery; he held onto the wall to slow himself down. "Did I miss breakfast again?" he asked.

Ting~

Ed dropped the platter full of food. "Of course not," he said with a smile.

Moon brought it to a table and started eating in an evident hurry.

"Right, how far are you thinking of bringing these two brats?" Ed asked.

Moon swallowed his food. "What do you mean?" he asked while filling his spoon again.

"I mean exactly what I said; they won’t be able to keep up with you in a very short while," Ed explained slowly.

Moon chewed, swallowed another mouthful. "They’re underlings; they don’t have to be super strong." He paused his eating for a moment. "Unless they want to run away at some point, they should keep running errands for me." He stated the obvious.

"So, you’re not planning on ditching them if they happen to become dead weight?" Ed asked again, confirming his point one last time.

"Like hell." Moon denied his claims and returned to his food once again; he didn’t have much time.

Ed nodded, raising a hand.

Moon felt some disturbance in his pants. "DA HEFF ISH DISH!" He jumped, mouth full of food.

"Sit down, I’ll borrow this for a while," Ed stated as the ring he looted from Dara came out and started floating to Ed’s hand.

Moon swallowed. "Ah, how do I use these?" he suddenly and finally remembered.

"I’ll show you later, Samuel removed the seal on it... Explosive one to protect it, or protect something on it... You understand shit?" Ed said, examining the ring between his index and thumb.

Moon took another spoonful, didn’t chew well, and swallowed with too much effort. "What you talking about?"

Ed didn’t answer immediately; instead, a screen came from the ring where he went back and forth with everything that was stored on it.

Moon kept eating, though his eyes were fixed on Ed.

One spoonful after another.

Ting~

The spoon hit the empty platter. Moon looked down, and there were just less than two spoonfuls scattered on the sides.

He gathered them, ate them, and dropped his spoon.

He took the platter back to the counter. "Tell me, gotta go, what you doing?" Moon asked again.

Ed exhaled. "Look here, it has some of Havoc’s training methods." Ed shifted the screen to Moon’s face, where he saw some guy standing and some lines crisscrossing over his body.

He tilted his head. "What’s that?"

"This is your spoils of war, so I’ll modify it to fit the two brats with you," Ed explained. "You can’t use them; they need Echo to move through the pathways in your body, and you don’t have that yet, so... Also, I don’t want to teach the brats my style, so your spoils of war are more suitable now," Ed said in a hurry.

Moon opened his mouth, about to say something, but Ed shooed him away. "Now go back, you’re almost late."

Moon pursed his lips. "You gotta teach me how to use these," he said before starting to sprint back.

"Where the hell are we?" Soon enough, he found himself standing in an open room, one of the unknown buildings he passed by occasionally.

The place inside was round and had a few floating golden cylinder-like objects, but Moon instantly understood what they were.

They were made of intersecting lines, stacked over one another to form the cylinder-like objects he was looking at.

"Such empty!" Basil exclaimed, looking around the room.

"Empty?" Moon tilted his head. He walked close to Basil, placed his arm over his shoulder, and pointed up.

"Say, Basil, what do you think of this?" Moon asked, pointing at one of the floating cylinders.

Basil’s eyes opened wide; they darted back and forth, looking at Moon through his peripheral vision before looking back at the ceiling.

He blinked a couple of times before laughing dryly. "Haha, nice ceiling, right?" he said while scratching his head.

Moon nodded readily. "It’s a nice ceiling," he affirmed Basil’s claim.

"Boss, are you messing with me?" Basil asked, raising an eyebrow.

Moon nodded, locking his eyes on Basil’s. "I’m messing with you," he said with the most serious face he could muster.

After a second, the two of them erupted in laughter. "Boss, I had no idea your sense of humor was so superb."

Moon let go of Basil’s shoulder, taking a step back. "Bruh, you fell for it too easily."

"Boss’s trolling skills are marvelous, magnificent," Basil praised again.

Next to them stood Barrett, squinting, his face full of confusion. He wasn’t sure what was exactly happening.

As for Uon, he held his head all of a sudden. "Have I seen this before... I suddenly feel dizzy."

"You’re imagining things," Moon said dismissively, before feeling like scratching his nose.

And once his hand came closer to his face, it paused. His eyebrows started to rise.

’The hell?’ he exclaimed inwardly.

On his hand, the left one, the ring on the palm that was only visible inside Hall 1 was visible. ’Am I seeing this now?’

Moon questioned his vision, but before he knew it...

Smaller, dot-sized seals shone dimly around the ring.

The hand that halted before scratching the nose ended up rubbing his forehead. ’Is this a fever, am I hallucinating now?’
