Train Survival: I Can Evolve Everything!
Chapter 92: Patrol Dragon's First BattleA soft tone paired with that crying voice.
Anyone would think Ye Qiyan was the one in the wrong.
How could the woman beneath his feet possibly be some great dragon?
Atush believed it, this foolish knight roaring in anger.
"Protect the princess! Draw your swords! Kill this monster! He's a demon! He's a demon come to deceive us!"
A demon?
Well, that's not entirely wrong either.
The other knights hesitated as they raised their swords toward Ye Qiyan.
The image of the princess flying into mid-air was still vivid in their minds, yet...
"That's right, Divine Envoy! Even if Her Highness was truly affected by the dragon, you've already broken its wings, perhaps it's..."
They believed Franier could recover. They believed Franier wasn't the dragon.
Ye Qiyan had become the villain in this story.
Let her go?
The corner of Ye Qiyan's mouth curved into a slight smile as he actually holstered his gun and lifted his foot, allowing Franier to escape from beneath him.
"Just a joke, really. I'm running low on bullets - those last two shots already destroyed the dragon's soul. This was just a test. Congratulations, Your Highness - you've returned to being human."
Bewitchment~
The power of language influenced everyone.
Ye Qiyan's words, which sounded utterly illogical and completely unbelievable, made everyone believe.
Including the non-human thing.
A flash of surprise appeared in Franier's eyes as she scrambled to her feet, looking at Ye Qiyan with pupils that once again turned vertical.
Her original hands transformed into dragon claws as she lunged at him from behind with a vicious grin.
"Human! Die!"
Bang—
This time, the bullet struck her head.
The black armor-piercing rounds couldn't be stopped even by a dragon.
Caw!
Ravens of death omen circled above the people's heads.
Franier collapsed to the ground, completely lifeless.
"No! Princess!"
Atush screamed in despair, looking at Ye Qiyan with extremely venomous hatred.
"What have you done! You killed the princess! You demon! Release me!"
Ye Qiyan watched the man with interest.
He seemed to have more than just a princess-knight relationship with this Franier.
And he was rather stupid.
Even when the truth had been presented right before his eyes, he still refused to believe it.
The other knights were rendered speechless by Franier's second transformation into a dragon.
"Release him."
The command given, the raven demon loosened its claws.
However, Atush didn't charge forward in rage.
He picked up the sword from the ground, trembling as he approached the corpse, cradling it in his arms before boarding a small boat and heading upstream.
"You will pay for this."
Should he shoot?
Hmm... never mind.
He didn't believe this station would end so simply.
After all, it was too easy.
Let this guy do something more.
Though, if it were someone else who hadn't noticed the princess's strangeness in advance and didn't possess a powerful armor-piercing weapon like Black Ebony...
Dealing with her wouldn't have been so simple.
Currently, the items he possessed were far beyond what a Level 6 station could handle.
The demon and raven returned to the card.
Glancing at the other knights left behind in confusion, Ye Qiyan ignored them and directly returned to the train using his navigation ability.
"This is still faster. Next up: the treasure."
Although he'd already gained 15 Train Coins from this station, since it was called the Treasure Dragon's Cave, not plundering some treasure would be disrespectful to the name.
Summoning the Road Tyrant, he traveled upstream along the direction Franier and her knights had come from.
Moving upward for about an hour, the space ahead suddenly opened up.
The cave was filled with strange beast skeletons and a huge metal block that had been fused together.
"The treasure? This is it?"
He thought there would be Train Coins everywhere, but alas, his fantasy was shattered.
There were some gold coins, but they were all embedded within this metal block.
Clearly, the dragon had melted together all the metals it collected to use as a sleeping bed.
"Not worried about it being uncomfortable..."
Ye Qiyan muttered this complaint and was about to summon the Processing Station to try recycling this metal block when...
He suddenly heard intense breathing sounds coming from above.
Looking up toward the sound.
A green dragon was crouching in a mezzanine layer, gradually awakening.
From the wings, it was easy to see.
This was the same one that had been in Franier's body.
No, to be precise, they were the same entity.
The consciousness in Franier had died, so the dragon returned to its body?
As expected, this station wouldn't end so easily.
"Human... do you know what you have angered? You have angered the great Treasure Dragon!"
An ancient voice emerged from the dragon's mouth.
It dragged its heavy body out from the mezzanine layer.
Looking down with arrogant eyes at Ye Qiyan, who appeared like an ant before it.
"You truly believe that puny weapon could kill a great dragon?! Since you destroyed that vessel, you shall become my new body!"
"Roar!"
Scorching breath erupted from the dragon's mouth.
Ye Qiyan's Lightning Wolf Leather Boots shimmered with light, his speed suddenly increasing as he activated the Lightning Assault module, consuming some mental and physical energy to effortlessly dodge the attack.
"Has no one told you you have terrible breath?"
He taunted the dragon, showing not the slightest trace of fear.
"Speaking of which, I have a dragon of my own. Perfect timing to test it out on you."
Raising his hand toward the sky.
The sound of mechanical construction echoed through the vast space.
"Hunt-Patrol Mech-Dragon."
A Train Coin tossed from his hand scattered specks of dark golden light.
"Normal Mode."
A red-and-white mechanical divine dragon shot out from the space beside him, charging straight toward the dragon.
"Tear it apart!"
Sharp mechanical claws firmly pinned the dragon's body.
"Damnation! What monster are you! Release me!"
Dragon scales scattered along with blood.
The Hunt-Patrol Mech-Dragon tore at the dragon's body.
There were differences even among dragons.
From scales, to bones, to heart.
In less than twenty seconds.
A dragon that had been majestic mere moments ago was reduced to a pile of bones.
"Both cool and powerful - mechanical dragons truly are a man's romance."
Ye Qiyan's eyes shone with excitement.
Though there might be an element of level advantage, the Hunt-Patrol Mech-Dragon's power was evident even in normal mode.
And this was just the lowest consumption normal mode - there were still Guardian, Hunt-Patrol, and Transcend modes to follow. The latter would only be stronger.
