"Profit, profit."
Ye Qiyan was in a good mood.
Descending from the altar, he waved toward WALL-E who was still waiting outside.
"Let's head back. I'll wait for you at the Train."
WALL-E nodded with partial understanding before turning to leave.
Once his figure disappeared from view, Ye Qiyan took out the Anchor again, waiting for its cooldown period to end.
"Navigation—"
The sensation of immersion emerged.
The whispers in his ear seemed to grow slightly clearer.
Drip.
RUN Company upper management.
A woman with heavy dark circles under her eyes frowned as a point of starlight gradually dimmed on the astral compass in her hand.
"Another Card Sequence taken? That's remarkably fast. Strange—previously, those guys rarely managed to find Card Sequences in these low-level stations, and high-level Train Conductors wouldn't bother visiting such low-level platforms. Yet two have disappeared in just a few days?"
She pondered for a moment before picking up a cup of coffee and draining it in one gulp.
"What about the investigation I asked you to conduct? Did any Train Conductor above level 30 visit that station?"
A heavy voice responded from the shadows:
"No traces of any high-level Train Conductors entering were found. In the past ten days, only one hundred thirty-five newcomers or Train Conductors who just broke through the newcomer stage docked at that station world. None of them possess the ability to activate a Card Sequence altar."
"Tch."
The woman clicked her tongue in dissatisfaction.
"So you're telling me the altar might be empty now?"
"That appears to be the case. The Card Sequences might be undergoing some changes we're unaware of. After all, we never understood them thoroughly to begin with. The ones who truly comprehend these things are those organizations that have existed since ancient times."
"Hmph. Speaking of which, how has the Imperial Sequence Organization been lately? Why did those guys suddenly start investigating us?"
The woman poured herself another cup of coffee, this time without sugar.
"The Imperial Sequence Organization's Angel recently broke her seal. She went to the City of a Thousand Stars, retrieved one of the Angel Cards that was stolen from them, and eliminated thirty-seven senior Inspectors along with one top-level Inspector. The City of a Thousand Stars is furious and has placed a 100,000 Train Coin bounty on her. Boss, should we..."
"Forget it. I don't need that 100,000 anyway. Ahem, not that I'm afraid of that crazy woman."
"Of course, Boss. We're not afraid..."
An awkward silence fell over the office.
The woman finished her coffee once again.
"So, any traces of the Blasphemy Card recently?"
The voice from the shadows remained quiet for a moment.
"As you know, while RUN Company has influence over many low-level station worlds, we cannot affect those higher-level worlds where Blasphemy Cards are more likely to appear. So..."
"All that rambling just means you've found absolutely no traces of the Blasphemy Card, right?"
"Correct."
The woman rubbed her temples.
She held her coffee cup for a long time without drinking.
After a lengthy pause, she silently set down the coffee cup.
From her chest, she withdrew a triangular fragment.
"You know, it's been twelve years since I obtained this fragment. Everyone says the Blasphemy Card will seek out its owner on its own. So why hasn't my Blasphemy Card come to find me?"
"...."
The person in the shadows offered no response.
"Continue intensifying the search. I found this very fragment in a low-level station. All that talk about higher probabilities means nothing to me. Besides, why hasn't there been even a single fragment produced in all these years? Another Blasphemy Card holder emerged not long ago. If others can collect them, why can't I?"
"Yes."
The office fell silent except for the sound of coffee drinking.

Back at the Train.
Ye Qiyan placed the Great Dragon Card on the device at the Train's front that once bound the system.
Flecks of dark golden light materialized out of nowhere as five Train Coins slowly appeared.
"Guaranteed profit with no loss. Truly touching."
Just think about his other artifacts.
Some consume mental energy, some drain physical stamina, and others devour Train Coins.
None were as worry-free as this Great Dragon Card.
Pulling up the system interface, he checked the docking countdown.
【1:33:33】
"Did this station really take that long?"
Ye Qiyan rubbed his chin. He clearly had a full fifteen hours available.
Without the additional five hours of docking time gained from the last Train upgrade, it probably wouldn't have been enough.
"Still, it worked out well enough."
WALL-E didn't find any treasure chests, but in a way, he discovered something even more valuable than treasure chests.
This was undeniable.
Even after Sublimation, a level 6 station's treasure chest would only reach level 7.
Whereas these unranked Card Sequences contained power and special abilities far more precious than anything from treasure chests.
While waiting for WALL-E to return, Ye Qiyan organized his final gains from this station.
Metal, mithril, and gold had already been sorted.
Even without opening any treasure chests, he had acquired a considerable number of Train Coins at this station.
He obtained 15 from the Princess possessed by the Great Dragon, plus the daily 5 Train Coins from the Great Dragon Card. After deducting expenses, he now possessed 38 Train Coins.
Enough to purchase the remaining two items in the upgrade options.
The Washing Machine and Train Armament·Wealth Protective Barrier.
With some heartache, he spent 25 Train Coins, leaving him with 13 remaining.
"Nowhere near enough... but at least there's stable income now."
The appearance of the Great Dragon Card undoubtedly provided peace of mind.
At least he wouldn't have to worry about failing to obtain Train Coins at a station due to not finding treasure chests or other reasons.
Beyond that.
After recycling the Great Dragon's corpse, he obtained a total of five hundred kilograms of dragon meat, plus an entire dragon skeleton and some dragon blood.
The Hunt-Patrol Mech-Dragon's attack power was too destructive, resulting in the loss of considerable meat and blood.
Still, this wasn't particularly regrettable.
Additionally, he collected several seemingly useless gemstones from the Great Dragon's Treasure Cave, bringing them back as decorations for the Train.
Though time remained plentiful, he didn't make another round trip.
When WALL-E finally returned, swaying slightly as he moved.
Ye Qiyan patted his metal head.
"Good work. We couldn't have done it without you this station too."
WALL-E happily spun in circles several times before pointing toward the charging device.
"Go ahead, charge as much as you want."
His pleasures remained simple indeed.
His master's praise, and charging.
The Hunt-Patrol Mech-Dragon had finished charging as well.
Using normal mode just once didn't cause significant drain.
Still, some inconveniences remained. To eliminate these hassles, he either needed to keep spending Train Coins or find a way to acquire an artifact that could directly serve as a power source for the Mech-Dragon.
"No rush. Opportunities will come."
Returning the Hunt-Patrol Mech-Dragon to the armament space.
Watching the final thirty minutes count down.
This station concluded here.
"Departing station."
