This was the first time, Jang Songrik had actually talked with Yoon Beom.
But it was kind of memorable how he had his dick out in his hand and was shaking it to drop the pee off after finishing his business in the urinel while he asked Beom if he was okay.
That’s how insincere it was.
But Beom was suddenly more interested in the fact that Songrik actually talked than the fact that how snarky his voice was.
"I....I’m okay!" Beom sqeaked out a reply.
"Uh.. good then," Songrik half heartedly replied to him and left.
Beom stood in that spot for quite a while giggling to himself.
When he went back and entered the classroom, Songrik was already seated on his seat and Beom’s spot was empty.
Even that sight excited Beom.
(Honestly, what a simp.)
The day passed without another word from Jang Songrik.
As Beom and Sarang were walking back home together, she seemed a little off.
Beom was too up in the clouds to notice and then he turned towards to ask if she wanted an ice cream but what he found instead was a crying face of his sister covered in tears and snot.
Yoon Beom had seen Yoon Sarang cry a lot of times but he was hardly ever the reason for it.
Even now, he was very appalled about why his twin sister was ugly crying beside him while they were walking home.
It would have made more sense if she was crying while walking towards the school.
"Ask me what wrong, you asshole!!" She suddenly blowed up on Beom. "Don’t just guess!!"
"Um... what happened...?" Beom asked awkwardly.
"Well," Sarang started and Beom sighed.
Oh, this is going to be a long one if it starts with ’well’.
He thought.
"I have this friend in the new class... what friend?! That bitch!! Anyways, she talked to me first and said she wanted to be my friend. I was flattered. Kids hardly come close to us to be friends! So westart hanging out and we talk. We really hit it off. I thought she was genuinely a good person! Ugh!! Then grandpa became ill and we both took some time off to look after him. So this girl calls me out of concern and I! Stupid atrocious me!! told her ever that was happening. And what?! That bitch went around talking shit about us to everyone in the school!! I literally had a teacher tell me off for staring into the distance because she thought I looking at fucking ghosts!!!"
"Oh," Beom now understood why ever in his class was behaving so weirdly now.
And perhaps because he knew the reason, it didn’t bother him much now.
"But guess what? I beat the shit out of that shit! What can she do? Our reputation is already rock bottom, it can’t get worse than this! God, I really wish we were in the same class. It’s hella boring to not have someone to talk to," Sarang whined as they entered inside the main gate of the house.
"You were plenty excited to be away from me," Beom chuckled.
"Yeah, I really was... am I getting withdrawal symptoms?" Sarang pondered while continued talking on their way inside.
The evening came, dinner was eaten and prayer were said.
Beom was about to sleep when his phone rang.
It was an unknown number.
He let it ring at first but then he picked it up after seven consecutive rings.
"Hello."
There was silence on the other end.
"Hello?"
"Come outside. I’m at your door."
"..."
"..."
"Uh... who’s this? I think you have the wrong number..."
"I’m Jang Songrik. Come out now."
"..."
*click!
Beom sprang up in his bed and looked around.
Then he pinched himself.
This isn’t a dream!!
Beom jumped down from his bed and ran outside in the yard. Everyone was asleep as he sneakily opened the front gate and slipped out.
He looked around.
There was no one.
Was it... prank?
That was the first thing that popped into his head.
"Yoon Beom."
The same snarky voice came from behind him. He spun around in alarm.
Songrik was standing right beside the gate, Beom didn’t notice him because he ran right past him.
"Hi!"
"Hi."
"..."
"..."
"So... um... what brought you here?"
"I was walking. I got lost. Then I saw the shrine. I thought maybe this was your house and called you."
"Oh... right. You had my number?"
"Well, it’s written there."
Songrik pointed at the shrine’s board with both his and Mokheon’s number.
That proved that things actually happened exactly as Songrik had told him.
Still... it was a fifty-fifty chance of choosing mine or grandpa’s number... Myabe... we really are meant to be.... (Simp)
Beom thought as stood there awkwardly for some time.
"Do you want to come inside?" He asked Songrik at last.
"No," Songrik flatly rejected his offer. "I was hoping you’d tell me my way back home."
"Oh. Where do you live?"
"..."
"..."
"That’s apparently the predicament. I don’t know where I live."
"... Oh I meant the name or general direction of your area..."
"... I don’t remember."
"..."
"..."
"Which way did you come from?"
Songrik pointed in the direction of the forest.
"Isn’t the village on the opposite side? How did you end up coming out from there?"
"I was walking and spaced out."
"Hey, do you remember your way home from the school?"
"Yes."
"Let’s go to the school. I’ll drop you off. You can go to home from there."
Songrik stared at Beom for a bit then nodded.
The two of them started walking towards the school.
Beom hadn’t expected he would take that path again the same day.
They were midway through the way, when Jang Songrik looked dead into Beom eyes and asked.
"Wanna kiss?"
"..."
"..."
"I think I didn’t quite hear you there..."
"I said wanna kiss?"
"..."
"..."
"You actually meant that?!"
"Yes."
"Why?!"
"Just because I want to."
"..."
Beom was bewildered and thrown off by a mile.
"So? Do you want to?" Songrik asked again.
