The Thunder falling from the sky, that flickering bolt, in an instant was like the sun dropping down.

Everyone couldn’t help but shut their eyes; it was too blinding.

Faced with this, Chadite swept out her hand, and all the glaring light spilling outward was, under her control, turned into countless converging strands that shot toward the sky.

Though no one knew why they could suddenly see again, they all looked toward the center.

What followed was an exaggerated peal of thunder.

The pouring lightning fell straight onto Alka in the center, and their Thunder Tower immediately overloaded facing such an outrageous bolt.

After all, it was a mechanical device from several hundred years ago; confronted with this Thunder, damage and smoking parts appeared all over the Thunder Tower in an instant.

Its surface was basically covered in lightning, darting madly about; clearly it no longer had the capacity to absorb all this Thunder cleanly.

And Alka just took the lightning head-on like that, yet there wasn’t the slightest problem, as if the bolts hadn’t struck him at all.

Bolt after bolt of Thunder crashed down.

The buildings around the Thunder Tower shattered and blew apart under the lightning, but fortunately the people in this area had already been fully evacuated.

The clouds grew ever more condensed, and the Thunder striking at the center grew ever more dense.

Alka’s figure flickered in and out, and at last he withdrew from the spatial interlayer.

Revealing his true form.

So he had been in the interlayer all along, which was why every attack seemed to miss him.

He had been like this from the start; the only flaw of this skill was that it couldn’t be used interwoven with his attacks.

The instant he came out, the gathered Thunder poured down once again, though this time it was no longer as concentrated as before.

At the instant it fell, a spatial rift opened, and all the Thunder was funneled into the small world.

This even caused damage to the gate of that world that had opened.

And the world gate Alka had first opened had already been forced shut by the rampaging Thunder Element.

Now they could only wait for the Elements in the clouds overhead to vent their Energy completely. At the very least, they had to let the berserk Thunder Element discharge until it was no longer enough to interfere with opening the surrounding space.

The Crystal Dragon Beast was still beating its crystal wings around them, circling in flight. The clouds were growing ever more compressed, now completely condensed within a radius of one kilometer.

The purple card floating beside Alka, under his control, was already Guiding the Thunder Element overhead, forcibly calming the Elements that were too active within the Thunder Element.

The attacks grew weaker and weaker.

When only attacks slightly stronger than normal lightning remained, Alka’s moment to act arrived.

He swept out his hand, and a massive spatial rift unfolded in an instant.

Like a mouth yawning open.

The instant the rift opened, the Dragon Beast suddenly exerted its strength, and vast amounts of clouds began condensing once more. Then, under its control, they flew toward the space.

Alka also moved directly to the very center of the spatial rift, controlling the Thunder, luring it in.

Because They had just consumed a huge amount of the Thunder Element’s Energy, this time it was very easy to draw it to the doorway.

Then the rift pushed forward, perfectly taking the Thunder Element and its clouds into the small world. Alka also took the opportunity to swallow the entire Tower into the small world from the base of the Thunder Tower below.

Seeing the clouds vanish, feeling the active Thunder Element around them cool down, the surrounding councilors and those commoners in the distance all showed relaxed smiles.

Alka gazed down at the craters blasted out by Thunder, and the various ruined buildings.

He pointed his hand downward, and under his control the Earth Card made the ground start to writhe.

All the craters were repaired, and the damaged buildings under his control were filled back in.

Though it still looked somewhat different from before, compared to the shattered, ruin-like environment, it was already much improved.

Only after finishing all this did Alka land beside Chadite and the others. The Dragon Beast also turned into points of light in midair, transforming into Ulu Liwus and Jason as the two dropped down.

The elderly councilor, supported at his side, leaned on his cane and hurried over with quick, anxious steps.

He grabbed Alka’s hand and shook it up and down. "Thank you, thank you."

Alka smiled and patted the back of the old man’s hand.

"You must have a lot to deal with right now, so I won’t disturb you."

As he spoke, he glanced behind Them; though the buildings still stood, Alka was not about to be so thorough as to restore the furniture inside.

So these houses were all just shells now.

Everything here lay in ruins waiting to be rebuilt; it would take some time to recover.

Saying this, Alka called out to his companions and began to say their goodbyes and leave.

He politely declined the attempts of the councilor and the Priest to keep them.

As They passed through the crowd, the people automatically opened a path, cheering around them and thanking Them.

Alka and the others smiled, quickly made their way to the harbor, boarded the Sound of Dawn, and departed immediately.

They hadn’t planned on staying here even one more night.

Their destination was already set: the Island bearing the Tower of Trial lay about a day’s sail from Power City.

At the Sound of Dawn’s speed, it would probably take less than half a day to arrive.

As soon as he stepped onto the deck—

Alka immediately controlled the Thunder Card to float at his side. Then the Thunder Card generated an attraction toward the Thunder Element, and long trails of Thunder Element began coursing out from Alka’s body.
