Neo grinned as the bearded demon roared below him on the rooftop. He dropped from the air and landed hard on the demon’s shoulders, pouring every ounce of his weight skill into the impact. The force multiplied by a hundred times the mass of the entire red building slammed downward. The rooftop cracked like glass under the sudden load. The bearded demon’s knees buckled. His boots sank into the stone. He roared again, veins standing out on his thick neck and arms as he fought the crushing pressure. Sweat poured down his heavy beard. His legs shook violently, but he refused to drop. He stayed upright through pure stubborn strength and bellowed up at Neo.

"What did you do to me?!"

Neo gave no answer. He simply lunged. His fist glowed with the skill that turned an enemy’s own weight against them. The punch landed square in the demon’s chest. A shockwave of compressed air exploded outward, strong enough to shatter windows for blocks. The bearded demon shot off the rooftop like a cannonball. He smashed through one building, then another, then a third, trailing dust and broken bricks until he vanished into the distance.

Neo’s system stayed quiet. No quest completion. The demon was still alive.

He wasted no time. He sprinted across the broken rooftop and dropped into the red building, heading straight for the red devil woman. She had been watching the fight from a shattered window. Neo grabbed her by the throat and pinned her against the wall. His grip was firm but controlled. Her eyes went wide with fear.

"Where are the mana stones?"

Her voice came out thin and shaky. "First floor. Safe room. The masked one kept them there."

Neo nodded once and released her. He raced down the stairs two at a time and kicked open the door she had pointed to. Inside sat a massive iron safe, thicker than any wall he had seen. He struck it with everything he had. The metal rang like a bell but showed no dent.

He stepped back and thought for a second. Heat first, then water. He pulled pyro mana blocks from his inventory and pressed them against the safe until the iron glowed dull red. Then he slammed hydro mana blocks against the heated surface. Steam hissed out in thick clouds. The metal softened and warped. Neo swung his morningstar skill one more time. The safe split open with a heavy crack.

Inside lay a mountain of pure mana stones. Neo’s eyes widened. He swept them into his inventory in one motion and counted. One million.

He used them at once. Rank after rank climbed until the system confirmed he had reached Transcendental middle rank. The leftover stones went straight into the simulation room.

Neo entered the simulation and faced the bearded demon again. And again. And again. One hundred times. Each fight ended the same way. The demon crushed him, tore him apart, or burned him alive. Neo came out of the last run breathing hard, hand pressed to his forehead. He needed a different approach.

He returned to the simulation and opened the system shop. He bought a small sealing box designed to suck demons inside and lock them away. He filled the box with hydro mana blocks until the interior churned like a storm. Then he added pyro mana. The two elements clashed, creating a raging mix of steam and flame. Neo grinned and dropped in twenty blocks of pure holy power, followed by ten blocks of every remaining element except darkness. He sealed the lid and shook the box hard.

A notification rang out.

Ding.

The sealed box has been upgraded to the Hell of the Nine Attributes. Any demon trapped inside will have its strength heavily reduced.

Neo left the simulation. He had tested the idea there first because the amount of mana packed into that small space could have exploded. In real life the risk would have been far worse.

He crafted the exact same box outside the simulation, filled it the same way, and ran toward the place where the bearded demon had crashed. The demon was already charging back, eyes locked on Neo, heavy footsteps shaking the ground.

Neo raised his spear. Light flared from the tip, brighter and brighter until it matched the open sky. The sudden glare stabbed straight into the demon’s eyes. The bearded demon snarled and shut them tight. Neo sidestepped the blind swing, then hurled the sealing box. The box opened mid-air and swallowed the demon whole.

Neo lifted the sealed box and looked inside. A tiny version of the bearded demon slammed against the walls again and again. The storm of nine attributes tore at its body, but the demon ignored the pain and kept attacking the barrier without pause.

Another notification appeared.

Ding.

The box seal will be destroyed at this rate. Kill the demon inside before the box explodes. Failure will kill the user and everything within a fifty-mile radius.

Neo’s heart hammered. Going inside himself was suicide. He was not strong enough to fight the demon while the storm ripped through his own body. He needed another way.

He scrolled the system shop until he found a skill that could revive the dead as loyal minions. He bought it without hesitation.

Neo sprinted back to the red building. He found the corpse of the masked devil exactly where it had fallen. He activated the skill. The body twitched, then rose, eyes empty but ready. Neo linked a thin thread of mana from himself to the puppet and began pouring hydro mana blocks into it, feeding the revived devil enough power to act as his weapon inside the box.
