Neo’s vision filled with the system’s cold blue text before he could blink it away.
**Quest: Mira Black Order Destroyed**
Black Fang annihilated her order. She is the only survivor. Help her take revenge by destroying the branch that ordered the attack.
**Location:** Blind Desert, Dhalia Kingdom — small town of Candis.
**Alert:** To complete the system you must take Mira with you and Tara. They hold the deepest prejudice against Black Fang.
**Time remaining:** 7 days.
**Rewards:** Pleasure Transfer — host can transfer the pleasure one woman feels to the rest.
**Failure:** Your death. Everyone’s death. The death of the whole forest.
He had only started to absorb the words when the door to the chief’s house slammed open.
Luna strode in, breathing hard. "I found a woman barely alive in front of Nyx Gate. She said she knows you."
Neo’s eyes widened. It had to be Mira. "Bring her inside. Now. Get Martha."
Luna spun and ran. Neo grabbed a dozen healing potions from the shelf and called for Veya. By the time he reached the infirmary, Luna and several tribesmen were already carrying a bloodied figure through the doorway. They laid her on the nearest bed.
Martha arrived seconds later. Neo checked the wounds himself—claw marks from forest monsters mixed with clean sword cuts and the deep, ugly holes left by traps. Martha’s voice was quiet when she spoke.
"Isn’t this Mira? What happened?"
"Black Fang," Neo said.
Together with Veya’s healing device they forced every potion down Mira’s throat. Color slowly returned to her face. Her eyes opened. She tried to speak, but Neo already knew the story from the system. He told her so.
Mira’s hand shot out and locked around his arm. Revenge burned in her gaze. "Please. Help me get it."
Neo nodded. He called every one of his women. When they had all gathered he kept his voice even.
"The journey will be dangerous. I’ll choose a group. Anyone who thinks it’s too much can refuse. No hard feelings."
The women nodded. Neo looked at Tara and Mira. Both stepped forward at once, almost smiling. Killing Black Fang members was the one thing they wanted more than anything else. He called Sai next. She simply nodded.
Four was enough—large enough to stay safe, small enough to move without drawing every eye.
Sai’s gaze stayed on Neo. Her only real desire was to protect the people she loved. The flaw that followed her was the need to control everything that might hurt them. The quiet war inside her was simple: she wanted to keep everyone safe, yet she was starting to understand that love could not shield people from every choice, every mistake, every loss.
Martha spoke up before anyone else could. "Don’t worry. I’ll take care of things while you’re gone."
Sai grinned and patted her head. Martha glared. "I’m older than you by a year."
Sai laughed. "Still more experienced running the tribe’s administrative roles."
They kept trading sharp lines. Neo watched the two of them—curvy, stunning, arguing like only people who trusted each other could—and felt lucky. He caught Sai’s wrist.
"Not now."
She nodded and followed him out.
The group left Nyx tribe and moved through the forest. After a while Neo stopped and pointed at the distant dots on the horizon.
"We won’t reach it on foot in time. We fly."
Sai already had her succubus wings ready. Tara’s speed skill could match Neo’s Torch Man mode. Mira was the only one who could not fly. Neo sighed, then laid out the plan.
"Sai, you stay high and scan ahead. I’ll enter Dark Monarch mode, use my speed, and carry Mira. Tara runs beside us."
They moved. Sai’s wings cut the air above them. Neo lifted Mira against his chest and the world blurred. Tara kept pace on the ground, a dark streak through the trees. Five hours later the forest ended. Sand stretched in every direction under the first real heat of the day. Mountains rose like broken teeth on the far side.
Tara’s eyes went wide. Sai laughed at her face.
"This is the desert, baby. Better than a forest."
Sai looked at Neo then. Her desire was clear: prove she was not what others believed her to be. The flaw was the obsession with proving people wrong. The conflict sat heavy—she wanted to define herself freely, yet other people’s judgments still steered her life more than she liked.
Neo’s hand rested on her waist. "You’ve been here before."
"With my mother," Sai said. "She worked as a desert seductress. Danced at night parties. I still have her outfits. I can dance for you one night out here if you want."
"Looking forward to it."
He checked the system map. Candis was small, few roads, almost nothing to hide behind. Night had already fallen by the time they reached the town entrance. A single bar sat right at the edge, lights spilling onto the sand. Perfect place for information. Perfect place that might also be an inn.
Neo, Sai, Tara, and Mira walked in. Every head turned. Whispers moved. A huge man with a Black Fang tattoo on his forehead stepped into Neo’s path.
"You must have entered the wrong place."
Neo grabbed the man’s arm, twisted, and shoved him aside. The man groaned and staggered. From behind the counter the bartender—broad, calm, the one pouring drinks—came forward.
Mira’s eyes sharpened. Revenge sat just under the surface. Her only real desire was to find something worth believing in. The flaw was the habit of doubting everything before she trusted it. The conflict was quiet and constant: she longed for faith, yet feared what it might cost to finally stop doubting.
The bartender stopped in front of Neo. "This is Black Fang territory. What do you want?"
"Are you the leader?"
The man studied him. "Yes. If you’re a small group or organization we should talk in the back. Deals."
Neo knew a trap when he heard one. He was not walking into a back room blind. His eyes flicked to the second floor—rooms lined the hallway above. While the leader waited, Neo sent a thin thread of mana into every faucet on that floor and opened them wide. Water began to fill the rooms. He would change its property to gasoline later, connect a mana thread, and light it. The whole second floor would burn. He only needed time.
He pointed at the tattooed man still holding his twisted arm. "You need to control your men better."
The leader nodded. "I will."
Neo followed him. The man’s name was Red—red hair, red eyes, red suit that did nothing to hide the hard muscle underneath. They entered a back room. Red closed the door and laughed.
"You just walked into a trap. This room was built to enhance my pyro mana—talent, control, sensitivity. All of it."
Tara snorted. She remembered Neo’s own pyro talent, the one even Pyra had praised. Her desire rose sharp: never be powerless again. The flaw was the hunger for control. The conflict was dangerous—she wanted strength so badly she risked becoming the kind of person she had once feared.
Neo laughed and held his head for a moment. "You’re the one who should worry."
Red frowned. "Why?"
Screams cut through the walls from upstairs. "Leader! The place is on fire!"
Red’s eyes went wide. Neo hit him square in the face, then dropped straight into Torch Man mode. Strength flooded his limbs. He laughed again.
"You’re trapped with us. Not the other way around."
Red stood torn—help his men or fight the group in front of him. He cursed, low and hard, and decided fighting Neo was the top priority.
