Neo stood in the shadowed clearing of the ancient forest, the air thick with the scent of damp earth and wild magic. Before him sat the witch child, a small girl with eyes that glowed like twin moons under a stormy sky. Her black hair fell in tangled waves past her shoulders, and her thin frame was wrapped in a cloak stitched from dark leaves and spider silk. She looked up at him with a seriousness that belonged on someone three times her age.
"I dreamed it again," she said, voice soft but steady. "I want to be the Wolf King."
Neo nodded once. He kept his tone even, the way a man speaks when he knows the truth is heavy. "You could chase that dream. But you’d put yourself in danger every single day. Your own mother wouldn’t like that. Not one bit."
The child tilted her head, considering. Her small fingers dug into the moss beneath her. "I don’t want that. Is there a way I can get both? The power... and still be safe?"
Neo let out a short laugh, low and rough. There was no bitterness in it, only the sound of a man who had learned long ago that some doors stayed shut. "There isn’t a way to have both. Not the way you’re thinking." He held out one broad hand, palm open. "How about you come with me instead?"
The girl stared at the offered hand for a long moment. Then she reached up and took it. "Okay. Let’s go."
The ground trembled.
A massive shape pushed through the trees. The wolf stood easily thirty meters tall, its fur the color of midnight iron, eyes burning like twin forges. Each step cracked roots and sent birds screaming into the canopy. It lowered its head until its jaws were level with Neo’s chest. Rows of fangs longer than swords gleamed in the half-light.
The beast’s voice rolled out like thunder. "You cannot take my queen."
Then it moved.
Neo barely had time to plant his feet before the wolf blurred forward. One moment the creature was fifty paces away. The next, Neo was airborne, ripped off the ground and flung skyward at a speed that turned the forest into a green smear. Wind roared past his ears. His stomach lurched. He twisted in midair just as the wolf launched after him, jaws wide.
In that split second Neo forced his senses open and inspected the monster.
**Fenrir. The God-Eater. Level: Star 9.**
His heart dropped. Star 9. A creature that had swallowed gods for breakfast.
He tried to run—tried to twist space and slip away—but the timer in the corner of his vision burned red. Deadline. No room left for retreat. Neo clenched his jaw and triggered Torch Man Mode.
Flames erupted across his skin. Heat rolled off him in waves. He thrust both hands forward and fired a thick beam of pure pyro energy straight into the wolf’s face. The blast hit with the force of a collapsing star.
Fenrir’s fur didn’t even singe. Not a single strand burned.
The wolf only grew angrier.
Neo switched forms without hesitation. Dark Monarch Mode slid over him like a second skin of living shadow. His eyes turned black. Power coiled in his chest. But the moment the new aura settled, Fenrir’s rage spiked higher. The beast’s roar shook the sky.
"Divinity!" the wolf bellowed. "I smell divinity on you!"
Neo tilted his head. His eyes widened for a fraction of a second. Divinity? What secret was the creature sensing? He had no time to dig deeper. He pulled on the deepest well of power he owned and formed his strongest attack—Black Star of the Darkness.
A sphere of absolute void bloomed between his palms. He hurled it.
The Black Star slammed into Fenrir’s chest. The impact cracked the air. Several of the wolf’s massive fangs shattered and spun free. Neo moved on pure instinct, snatching the fallen fangs mid-flight and stuffing them into his inventory before they could hit the ground.
He tried to form a second Black Star. Pain lanced through his arms and spine. The toll was too heavy. His body warned him that another full-power cast would break something he could not afford to break.
Neo opened his Simulation Room in a heartbeat. Possibilities unfolded in his mind like pages turning. One conclusion rose clear and sharp.
The weakest point was the base of Fenrir’s spine, right where the thick fur thinned along the back. A precise strike there would paralyze the beast completely.
He closed the simulation and moved.
Neo shot forward, shadows trailing behind him like torn banners. He slammed both fists into the exact spot his simulation had marked. Fenrir’s entire body locked. The giant wolf crashed to the forest floor with a ground-shaking impact. Trees toppled. Dust rose in a thick cloud.
Neo landed hard on the beast’s neck. He did not waste the opening. One final blow—clean, decisive—ended it.
A soft chime rang in his ears.
**Notification: God Killer.**
Fenrir’s massive form stilled. The god-eater was dead.
Neo dropped lightly to the ground and walked back to the witch child. She stood where he had left her, eyes wide but unafraid. He scooped her up onto his shoulders, careful not to jostle her. Then he activated his speed skill—pure velocity, no fire—and the forest blurred past them in streaks of green and brown. He refused to risk Torch Man Mode with the girl so close. One stray spark and she would burn.
They reached the edge of the human kingdom before the sun had fully climbed. Neo kept running until the white spires of the Magic Tower rose ahead of them. He slowed only when they entered the long marble corridor that led to the Archmage’s private chambers.
The Archmage waited at the far end, tall and severe, her silver hair pulled into a tight knot. When she saw her daughter safe on Neo’s shoulders, something in her rigid posture loosened for half a breath.
Neo set the child down gently. The girl ran straight into her mother’s arms.
The Archmage looked at Neo over the top of her daughter’s head. "What payment do you require for returning my child?"
Neo grinned, the expression sharp and open. "A lot of mana stones."
She did not argue. With a single gesture she produced a heavy spatial pouch and dropped it into his palm. Five million mana stones. Neo weighed it once, satisfied, then turned and walked back the way he had come.
Halfway down the corridor a soft sound stopped him.
A trainee white mage stood pressed against the wall, shoulders shaking. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes. She wore the simple pale robes of a novice, but the fabric did little to hide the full curves of her body—heavy breasts that strained the front of her tunic, a narrow waist that flared into thick, fertile hips, and an ass that rounded generously under the cloth. Long silver-white hair fell past her waist in a loose braid.
Neo stopped in front of her. "What’s wrong?"
She looked up, startled. Her voice came out small. "My name is Snow. I’m one of the Archmage’s disciples. Tomorrow I have to take her test. I must cast my strongest damage spell and prove my power. But... I spent most of my training days on defensive magic. My attack strength is too low. I’m going to fail."
Neo nodded slowly. "Come with me. There’s a garden outside the tower. Show me the spell there."
Snow’s eyes widened. "You just came from the Archmage’s office. You must be a very high-level mage."
"You can say that," Neo answered. "But I specialize in different kinds of magic."
She followed him without another word.
They stepped into the quiet garden behind the tower. An empty clearing stretched between tall white trees. Birds had fallen silent. Neo pointed to a thick oak at the far edge of the open space.
"Cast your strongest damage spell. Now."
Snow raised one slim hand. Light began to gather in her palm—soft at first, then brighter, denser, until it formed a massive white sphere that hummed with raw power. She thrust her arm forward. The ball shot across the clearing, slicing the air with a sharp whistle. It struck the oak dead center.
The tree vanished in a flash of white. Only a blackened crater remained in the dirt.
Neo studied the result in silence. One tree. For a disciple of the Archmage, the display was weaker than it should have been. Far weaker.
Snow watched his face. The hope in her expression drained away as she read the truth there. She swallowed hard. "Since you know the Archmage... can you tell me a way to help me?"
Neo’s gaze dropped, slow and deliberate, taking in the full shape of her body. The heavy rise of her breasts under the thin robe. The deep curve of her waist. The thick, wide hips that promised soft heat and strength. The generous swell of her ass that the fabric could not hide. Heat stirred low in his gut—not pure lust, but the sharp recognition of potential waiting to be unlocked.
He met her eyes again. "Honestly, I’m a Lust Mage. I have a power that can make women stronger—especially mage women like you. I can raise your mana levels far beyond what they are now. And most importantly, your damage spell would rise."
Snow’s face lit up. She jumped in place, breasts bouncing under the robe, eyes bright with sudden hope. "Really? Then how?"
Neo grinned, the expression dark and certain. "It would be simple. It’s by sex."
