Nara woke slowly, her mind still heavy from the long night. She blinked at the dim light filtering through the factory windows, then her eyes snapped wide. She had overslept. Panic flashed across her face as she sat up fast.
"Please don’t tell the manager," she said, voice low and urgent. "I can’t afford another mark against me."
Neo nodded once. "I won’t."
They left together under the pale moonlight, walking side by side along the quiet path. The air was cool and still. Nara glanced at him after a few steps.
"Thank you," she said.
"It’s alright," Neo answered. His voice stayed even. No need to make it bigger than it was.
They reached the factory and went straight inside, heading for the manager’s office. The door stood open. The manager sat behind her desk, papers spread out, and looked up as they entered. Her eyes moved over both of them.
"You two overworked again," she said flatly. Then her gaze settled on Nara. "Your husband already left for the castle."
Nara’s hand curled into a tight fist at her side. Anger rose sharp and hot in her chest. An ungrateful, uncaring husband. He had walked off toward the castle and left her here without a word.
The manager’s tone shifted as she turned to Neo. "Congratulations, by the way."
Nara frowned. "What did he do?"
The manager laughed and tapped a small screen on her desk. The factory cameras played back at high speed. She watched the footage, then licked her lips while looking at Neo.
"He single-handedly killed three hundred eighty-eight monsters. All star thirteen and above. If I told noble Zod about this, he’d hire you to guard his bedroom."
Neo laughed under his breath. His eyes dropped for a second to the deep cleavage of her shirt, the way the fabric strained over her large breasts. "I’m here. Good enough, isn’t it, Manager?"
She grinned, slow and knowing. "Of course. I’m not letting you go anywhere."
Her attention returned to Nara. "The last carriage already left. I live in a different zone from noble Zod, so—"
Neo shook his head. "Don’t worry. I’ll take Nara with me. Two together is safer."
The manager nodded. She stood and walked out of the room without another word. Neo took Nara’s hand. The contact was firm.
"Let’s go. The way isn’t far."
Nara nodded. They left the factory and stepped into the dark forest. The trees closed around them quickly. Nara moved closer to Neo without thinking. His presence felt solid. Safer. Stronger.
Neo’s hand slid down and cupped her ass over the tight black jeans. He squeezed once, feeling the soft, full curve of her flesh under the fabric.
Nara glared at him. "Take your hand off."
"Isn’t this my payment for protecting you?" he said, voice low and steady.
She bit her lip. Her body still felt weak and tired from the long day. Then a thought cut through. She was the only one who knew the path back. He was still a newcomer here. A small, smug smile touched her mouth.
"Really? Then let’s see how you find your way back without me."
Neo grinned. He pulled a small device from his inventory—the latest tracker Veya had made. It glowed faintly in the dark, showing their live location and drawing a clear map of every path he had already walked.
Nara’s eyes widened. "Isn’t that the newest device from that mysterious scientist?"
He nodded. She closed her mouth. With that tool he would never get lost, not after walking the route once. The device recorded everything.
She bit her lip again, softer this time. "Alright. You can keep touching."
Neo slid the device away. His hand returned to her ass, gripping a full handful of the soft, meaty cushion through the tight jeans. He squeezed hard, then gave it a sharp slap. The sound cracked loud in the quiet forest—*slap*—and the flesh jiggled under his palm.
Nara’s breath hitched. She didn’t pull away. Instead she let her body rest against his side as they walked. Neo kept his hand on her, kneading the soft cheeks, feeling the heat of her skin even through the denim. Every few steps he slapped again—*slap*—watching the way her hips shifted and her full curves moved. From his view her ass looked round and heavy, perfect to hold. He could feel the give of her flesh, the way it filled his large hand. His own body stayed solid beside her—broad shoulders, thick muscled arms, strong legs that never tired.
Nara felt the weight of his palm, the rough strength in his fingers. She saw the hard lines of his body under the moonlight, the way his shoulders filled the space, the power in his arms when he squeezed. Heat crawled up her neck even as she stayed quiet. His hand stayed right there the whole way, playing with her, until the castle walls finally rose ahead of them.
She pushed his hand away the moment they reached the gates. "Enough. Don’t say anything to my husband about what happened."
Neo nodded. "I won’t."
Nara walked toward the rooms where her husband waited. Neo headed for his own room, stepped inside, and dropped onto the bed. The mattress took his weight. His mind drifted back to the way Nara’s mouth had worked on him earlier—the wet heat, the pressure, the sounds she made. He closed his eyes and let sleep take him.
Morning came. Beatrix stood at his door the way she always did. This time only Nara stood beside her, face tight with leftover anger.
Neo looked at Beatrix. "What happened to Mark?"
Nara answered before Beatrix could speak. "We had a fight last night. He went ahead by himself. I didn’t want to leave you alone."
Beatrix gave a short nod. "Alright. You two go."
Neo and Nara left Zod Castle together. They walked into the forest again, moving between the trees under the growing light. The path stayed quiet for a while. Then a monster burst up from the bushes in a sudden rush of leaves and dirt.
It was a chimera—parts of different beasts stitched into one ugly body. Neo inspected it at once. Strength level: star fifteen.
Both of them lunged forward. Nara’s sword moved differently than before—sharper, more fluid, changing mid-swing. Neo watched for half a second, then activated Dark Monarch mode. A blade of pure nothingness formed in his hand. He charged and cut hard. The chimera took the hits but barely staggered. High magical resistance. High physical resistance too. Every slash bounced or only scraped.
Neo grit his teeth. He needed more. He trusted Nara enough not to use the opening against him. He called out to her.
"Watch this."
He switched. Lord of the End mode flared around him. His aura exploded outward in a dark wave. Reality itself bent and wrapped around the sword, binding tight to the edge. Neo rushed in and brought the blade down in a heavy arc. The chimera’s defense finally cracked. Blood sprayed.
Nara’s eyes widened. She seized the opening and moved. "Dying Rose."
Her sword danced in a set of elegant, high-skill slashes—precise, beautiful, and deadly. Neo stayed brute force beside her, cutting again and again. Under their combined pressure the chimera collapsed and died.
Neo wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. He looked at Nara. Sweat soaked her shirt, making the fabric cling tight. Her massive breasts strained against the wet cloth, rising and falling with each heavy breath. The sight pulled at him for a second too long.
Then his knees buckled. He dropped hard to the ground.
Nara rushed to him. "What was that move? Why did it leave you this weak?"
"Secret technique," Neo said, breathing rough. "It drains me hard. I only use it on stronger monsters... or with people I trust."
Color rose in Nara’s cheeks at the word. Trust. Neo grinned through the exhaustion and slipped a thin wisp of pink mist toward her. It curled around her for a moment before fading.
"Your swordsmanship looked damn good," he said.
Her cheeks flushed deeper. "Thank you."
They kept walking until the factory came into view. The manager stood in front of the entrance. Mark stood beside her. The moment Neo and Nara walked up, Mark turned his head away, eyes fixed somewhere else.
Nara sneered at him. "Alright. You act like you’re ignoring me. Alright."
