Neo’s eyes locked onto the scroll of life floating slowly above the devil statue. A thin glowing thread stretched from the parchment straight down into the stone figure, pulsing as it fed energy into the ritual. That was the key. That was what kept the whole thing alive. If he pulled it free, the summoning would die right there.

He spun toward Luna and Alvina. "Buy me time. Take the lackeys. Don’t let them get near me."

Both women nodded once and charged. The cultists in red coats and animal masks raised their weapons. Neo shouted over the noise, "Those red knives look bad—watch them!"

Luna and Alvina adjusted without slowing. Luna hit first, cutting through the nearest group with sharp, efficient strikes. She moved like she was competing, glancing at Alvina every few kills as if counting. Alvina fought solidly but slower, jaw locked tight. The red coats, the red glow, the red everything scraped against something deep in her. Ever since she was little, that color had set her on edge. Her grandmother had drilled the fear into her somehow. Blood never bothered her—she never linked the two. She just hated the color red itself. She pushed through it anyway, spells flying, but the edge in her movements was obvious.

Neo left them to the fight and sprinted across the chamber toward the statue. He reached up and grabbed for the scroll. His fingers hit an invisible barrier and slid off. He pushed harder. Nothing. He tried forcing it into his inventory. Same result—blocked.

The timer in the corner of his vision dropped under one minute.

"Shit."

He opened the shop interface and scrolled fast. There—Steal skill. Five thousand mana stones. He bought it without hesitating and activated it the second it confirmed. The scroll vanished from above the statue and appeared in his hand. The red glow around the devil statue flickered, dimmed, and went completely black.

The summoning stopped.

Neo let out a short breath of relief. It lasted less than a second. The cultists saw the light die. Their heads snapped toward him, then toward the girls. Angry whispers rose. They cut their own wrists with the red knives. Blood ran down the blades and the weapons started glowing with a thick, ugly aura that made the air feel heavier.

"Don’t let those knives touch you!" Neo yelled. "Keep distance!"

Luna and Alvina opened the gap immediately and switched to long-range spells. Bolts and waves of power hammered the remaining cultists until only a handful were still standing. Neo closed in and finished the last of them himself. When it was quiet, the room reeked of blood and something worse than black mana—raw, sour, wrong. Just pure evil.

Neo looked at the bodies and the blackened statue. "Bring the liquor. We’re burning all of this."

The girls nodded and helped douse everything. Flame caught fast and climbed the statue. Neo watched the fire eat the stone face. The image stuck with him longer than he wanted. Paimon. That name belonged to a high-rank demon in the old myths. He shook his head hard. Not the time to overthink it.

A quest completion notice popped up. Fragment of devil horn appeared in his inventory. Neo stared at it for a second, then asked the system if he could exchange it. The answer came back affirmative. He did the trade. Twelve thousand mana stones dropped into his balance.

He looked around the castle one more time. Most of the elders were already dead. If he left this room intact, some other crazy bastard would eventually find it and try the same ritual. He wasn’t leaving that door open.

"Luna," he said. "Go back to the tribe. Tell Sai we’re uniting Nyx with ours. I’m the overall leader. He runs Stormfang under me."

Luna nodded and left without argument.

Neo remembered the gilf elder who had surrendered earlier in the throne room. He climbed the stairs. The dragon-bone construct still held her in place so she couldn’t run. He walked straight up, grabbed her wrist, and yanked. She hit the floor hard.

He knew exactly what the elders had done to the Nyx people over the years. Mercy wasn’t happening.

She glared up at him, still trying to look proud. "The demon was supposed to be summoned. You should be dead by now."

Neo shook his head. "Sorry. I stopped it. As for you—" He looked her over slowly. "Tell me your name. You’ve got two choices. Let me fuck you, or die."

Her eyes dropped to the growing bulge in his shorts. She swallowed. "Lin. Please, master... let me live. I’ll do anything."

Neo’s gaze settled on her ass. He hooked one thumb into the waistband of his shorts and shifted his weight. "You know what you need to do."

Lin let out a long breath. She had already lost everything else. Staying alive was the only move left. She pushed herself up, grabbed his arm, and pulled him toward a side corridor. "We do it in my office."

He let her lead. Once they were inside the smaller room he grinned and gave her a hard slap across the heavy curve of her ass. The tight elder robe did nothing to hide the shape. She flinched, ears going red with shame, but she didn’t pull away.

Neo didn’t wait. He stripped the coat off her shoulders. She shoved his shorts down at the same time. Her eyes went wide when his thick cock sprang free, already hard. She licked her lips without thinking.

If she had known what he was packing, she would have surrendered long before the fighting started. She was an old elder. In the Nyx tribe the tradition was simple—gilfs got ignored. No one had shown real interest in her for decades. She had gone years without anyone touching her the way she needed. Now this younger man stood in front of her, young and strong and clearly interested. She leaned in, kissed the side of his neck, and whispered, "Please, master... fuck me."

She wasn’t stupid. He had killed every other elder in the castle. He was going to take the tribe. The smartest thing she could do was please him. And the fact that he actually wanted her—wanted her body—felt better than she expected. It cut through years of being overlooked.

Neo caught her arm and turned her around. "Face the wall."

Lin planted both hands on the stone and pushed her ass back toward him. She knew what kind of man he was. She rose onto her toes, arched her lower back deeper, and gave her hips a slow, deliberate roll so the full weight of her ass was on display.

"Don’t you want this, boy?" she said, voice low. "Fuck your enemy. Make me yours. Break me, then rebuild me however you want... huh? You want that, don’t you?"

The lines were old ones she used to rehearse in private when she still hoped someone might notice her. Neo stayed quiet behind her. For a second she thought maybe the words sounded dated, too much, the kind of thing that only worked in her head.

She turned her head to check. Her throat worked as she swallowed. Neo’s eyes were burning with pure hunger. Both of his hands clamped down hard on her ass cheeks, fingers digging into the soft flesh. His voice came out rough and thick.

"Don’t you feel shameless saying such words at your age."
