Neo left the Nyx tribe behind without looking back. He had told the girls he was heading out on a mission to kill the Demon Count. No one argued. They knew better. He took Lin with him. The older woman walked a few steps behind, quiet, her face set. He had already decided she would warm his bed on the road and answer every question he had. That was the deal.
They moved deeper into the forest. The path was narrow, the trees thick enough to cut the light. Neo did not wait long. He stopped her, pushed her against a trunk, and worked an anal bead into her ass with steady fingers. She sucked in a sharp breath when the last one seated. He told her to walk and keep moving like nothing was wrong. Then he ordered her to fight him.
Lin’s face burned. She was a gilf, experienced, and she had no problem taking a young man’s cock. That was one thing. Fighting with beads shoved up her ass was something else. Every step shifted them. Every quick movement made the pressure spike. Shame sat heavy in her chest, but she still raised her fists.
Neo watched her with open amusement. He circled her, light on his feet, and forced her to react. She blocked, ducked, tried to land a hit. The beads rolled and pressed with every twist of her hips. Her breath came shorter. Her thighs tensed. He laughed once, low.
"This is your punishment," he said. "Keep moving."
She did. Sweat started on her skin. Her movements stayed sharp, but the constant shift inside her made her jaw tight. Neo enjoyed every second of it. He kept the sparring going long enough to see her struggle, then eased off and asked the real questions.
"The Demon Count. How strong is he?"
Lin exhaled hard through her nose. "Stronger than the Priestess. He beat her without trouble. No one knows his real level. We only know what he showed."
Neo pulled the life scroll from his inventory. He focused on the system.
"Can this be recharged by me?"
The answer from the system came clean. Affirmative. Host can use Mana stones to do it. Do you want to proceed?
He nodded. The scroll took the charge and settled, ready again. Neo looked back at Lin.
"Anything else about him?"
She met his eyes for a moment. "He fights with a whip. It freezes whoever it hits. One clean strike and you lock up."
Neo cursed under his breath. A freezing whip on top of raw power. Fighting something like that head-on was a death sentence for most people.
He straightened and cut the sparring short. "Enough of the show. The Count is already here."
Lin tilted her head, confused. A second later a tall demon stepped out from behind a thick tree. His smile was wide and sharp.
"First time meeting a human who sensed me that easily," the Count said.
Neo put Lin behind him with a short order. "Stay back."
He did not waste words. Three summons formed at his call—Dragon Bone, the Pyro Ape, and the Dark Beast. He pointed at the Count.
"Run him down. Kill him."
Dragon Bone charged first, heavy and fast. The Count caught the horn with one hand and stopped the rush cold. The other two came from the sides. The Count’s free hand moved once, twice, almost at the same time. Both beasts staggered back from the hits.
Neo did not wait. He closed the distance himself, blades out, and forced the Count onto the defensive. Blow after blow. The demon gave ground, then dropped to one knee like his balance had finally broken.
Neo went in for the finish.
The Count’s mouth curved. Under his breath he muttered, "Stupid human."
His free hand had been charging the whole time. A dense ball of mana slammed into Neo’s side and detonated.
Lin’s eyes went wide. Her legs gave out and she hit the ground hard, out cold.
Inside Neo’s inventory the life scroll flared. The world snapped back into place. Neo sucked in a ragged breath. He was on his feet again, heart slamming. The death had been too fast to even track. One moment pressure, the next nothing, then this.
Anger flooded in right after. Then he shook his head. He should expected it. Devils and demons was always like this...
Cunning creatures who waited until Humans showed their vulnerability and fell for their traps and then they show their real colours.
MC slapped his cheeks and made up his next move.
He opened the system and bought ten simulation tickets at once.
Time stopped.
Neo grinned. He had tested this before with Alvina. Every ticket froze the world the same way. Perfect.
He ran the first simulation focused only on survival—running, dodging, buying distance. He lasted thirty minutes before the Count closed in and ended it.
The next nine tickets he spent fighting. He studied the Count’s patterns, the way the whip snapped, the timing of the freeze, the openings after big swings. He died over and over, each run longer and cleaner than the last. On the tenth ticket he finally killed the Count after a brutal hour of constant pressure.
The freeze lifted.
Neo moved immediately. He hit the Count with everything he had learned, special move first. The demon’s eyes widened. One moment Neo had been barely keeping up. Now the human fought like someone who had already lived the entire battle.
The Count was forced back onto pure defense, bewildered.
Neo barked at the three beasts. "Keep hitting him. Don’t let up."
They slammed in from different angles. The Count had to split his attention. Sweat showed on his forehead.
Neo grinned. He pressed harder the second the demon’s focus slipped. Gaps opened. Neo drove him backward step by step until the Count’s back slammed into a thick tree.
Neo’s special move punched straight through the Count’s chest and pierced the heart, killing him.
