Triple X System

Chapter 397: Seeking Spell

"Alright, the power from the backup generators should last till morning." Yua noted, having already infiltrated this stronghold. She basically had a general outlook of things.

Nodding Kyle got up, placing his hand to his chest. There was silence as Yua watched with a questioning gaze but remained quiet.

"You feel it too?" He softly asked, his soft gaze locked to hers.

Closing the distance between them, Yua timidly averted her gaze from him. Tints of red spotted on both her pale cheeks.

’Still acting tough.’ Kyle inwardly chuckled, yearning for this moment since what felt like a lifetime.

"Interesting.. your testosterone levels are rising."

This time it wasn’t his cheeky system that’d spoken, but rather a primitive and ancient entity assimilated with him.

Ignoring the Rootcrystal deer, he felt a soft touch on his left cheek. Yua’s blood red eyes staring directly into his, her face completely flustered under the dim glow of the stronghold lights.

"I-i’m sorry.. for calling you a pervert and making life harder than it already was for you." She stuttered, her voice barely above a whisper. About to continue, Kyle placed a finger to her lips.

"Don’t go soft on me now." A sly grin crept to his lips, descending to meet hers.

Her breath ceased with a light gasp, she involuntarily froze upon direct skin to skin contact with the man she’d shared her first time with.

A flood of the few memories they shared refreshed in her mind, like a backlog retrace. Everything from Kyle’s unique scent, to his burning touch and cold eyes reminded her of something.

’It’s been too long!’

Regaining herself, she actively embraced Kyle in a deep hug. One of her fingers searching his back with a violent sense of closure. While her other hand roughly caressed his head, pressing him more to her like he would leave any moment.

As a teen, she’d always seen the world the same. Similar to an endless time loop where the only thing that remains constant is life and death. But after her unexpected encounter with Kyle, there was no doubt a wild phenomenal change in her small world.

[She isn’t resisting you anymore, good job master. You’ve successfully taken a step further into the perverse society.] Snow proudly proclaimed, her tone identical to a professional tutor positive comment about her student.

Dismissing both distractions, his tongue exchanged brief locks with yua’s. Both his hands wrapping around her slender waist, her suffocating yet alluring feminine scent heating up the tension.

"Tsk! Idiots." Elara scoffed invasively, an average distance from the couple.

Love or affection just wasn’t a language recorded in her books as a dark witch. And on a dark hell trap planet with little means of survival, caring wasn’t a luxury she could afford.

’My Signature Locket is broken so I can’t make out her location.’ A hint of frustration mixed with rage swirled within her. ’I’ll just have to wait till first light then leave.’

Her attention turned back to Kyle and Yua still locked in each other embrace before snorting and heading to a different area in the large selected room.

[Someone’s jealous.] Snow joked with a light giggle.

’She’s searching for someone else.’ Kyle noted.

According to his vision during blackout state, his encounter with Elara was amongst the thoughts that plagued his mind. Coming to the conclusion whatever connection he had with her and his goal similar, but there was also another figure present in the chaotic mix.

[You’re right. Though she’s a terrible lier, her body language definitely hints at a search for someone. Though I’m not certain for sure the individual, but there’s no doubt about it.]

"What’s wrong?" Yua softly asked, slowly lifting her gaze to meet his.

"Nothing, it’s fine." Kyle smiled, dismissing her worries. It wasn’t Elara’s search that bothered him, but the different outcome from his vision.

’This is just the beginning.’ He could feel it deep within his nerves.

Kraken was by far the worst literally hell on earth present, a death zone that slowly chipped away at one’s appearance, life core. Irrespective of race or energy affinity.

"What is it?" Kyle questioned with a firm gaze, noting Yua subconsciously pulled away from his grip.

"Something- no, someone is coming." Yua specified her eyes glowing red with a blood chilling instinct.

’She can sense beyond me.’ Kyle was both astonished and impressed, by one of the core member of his harem.

With his evolution at 50 and stats on an entire different level, his body had no doubt surpassed the stage of legendary rank. Just below the ruthless king Troy presumed to be at king tier or higher.

But Yua on the other hand was now a vampire, and a one belonging to a higher class at that. But her hearing capacity could reach about 70 meters away, surpassing Kyle’s advanced hearing of 60 meters top.

[Eco location dummy.] Snow butted in certainly annoyed by Kyle’s childish attitude.

’You mean the thing bats do to sense vibrations and sounds?’

[Exactly.. Hers is a far more sophisticated echolocation, driven by blood magic. She bypasses sound and vibration entirely, using her activated blood to sense shifting atmospheric patterns and scent trails—granting her a detached, all-seeing awareness while retaining absolute control of her body.] Snow explained.

’So she’s astral projecting but with full control.’ Kyle thought with a smug grin, his impression about Yua drastically shifting.

"Wait here I’ll go and finish this quick." Yua blurted, before Kyle could even get a word out.

[Pfft..] snow tried to control the built up laughter but failed intentionally. Bursting into a loud reoccurring noise in Kyle’s head.

"Fascinating.. human battle for dominance over one another is truly exciting." The ancient Rootcrystal deer commented like a intrigued spectator.

Ignoring both voices Kyle watched as Yua performed something strange. Bringing her hand to her lips, she bit herself.

’is that- a skill?’ Judging from the notable familiarities he read about vampires, they were under the undead category in the mythical world.

Dealing mainly with blood related abilities, attacks, fast mobility, and akin heightened senses far surpassing any other race. Meaning they were the perfect killing machine with the exception of one weakness. Sunlight, their primary and old enemy since the dawn of time.

He didn’t know why or how, but vampires physics was wired with no resistance whatsoever against the rays from the sun. Though Vladimir was an exception he guessed was a pure blood. A set of vampire individuals not turned but actually given birth to as literal blood sucking entities.

Having a more higher and raw dominant base stat than ’the turned’ group of vampires.

[Her aura is different from a turned vampire but not on the level of a true pure blood.] Snow analyzed with practically precision, and even the deer confirmed it.

"She’s an interesting new species from the bloodline of day walkers."

"By new species of bloodline you mean she’s–"

"Yes. Your vampire wife is a direct embodiment of a new first class of vampire and demon hybrid." The beast calmly stated in it’s usual plain tone through the mental link.

Glancing at Yua, Kyle could see several droplets of blood from her wound floating up. Getting more lighter with little viscosity than water, forming a blood mist of 5 meters dispersing into the atmosphere.

"That should buy us some time to get out of here. I can’t sense the nature of whatever’s approaching, but it would be a headache left for another time."

Agreeing with yua’s perception they quickly grabbed a few supplies, mainly food essentials and about 2 bagful containing blood bags.

"Don’t worry, I won’t go berserk and suck you dry." She paused her eyes motionlessly heading down.

"Well.. not dry but maybe some sucking." Yua subtly smiled advancing towards the path Elara took.

[It looks like someone is about to get lucky with a bloodsucker real soon haha! I’m so proud of you student, I can’t wait for all the wild fetish you have in store.] Snow didn’t miss the opportunity to influct more harm to Kyle’s ego.

’Where’s the mute button when you need it.’ Rolling his eyes, Kyle followed suit behind Yua. And it didn’t take long till they actually located her, practicing an incantation of sorts. Upon sight, she was irked but didn’t try to flee.

"Bastard.. you led them here." Kyle acted out enraged.

"Led them? What the hell are you talking about demon?" Elara countered getting to her feet, a small jade dagger with rough edges in her grip.

"Liar. You’re clearly caught and this is the best defense you put up? Tsk! I knew you were a no two shady deceptive witch."

"Stop it! Both of you." Yua caught in before things escalated further.

"Elara’s not a traitor. I know a bit of incantation from the dark arts and that’s not a homing signal. It’s actually a seeking spell to locate someone." Turning to Elara, she didn’t utter a word.

"It’s none of your business, you two have each other now so my debt is paid." She scoffed storming off.

"You can’t be serious Yua she’s basically lying." Kyle refused to give into her charms, suspecting an ulterior motive.

"She’s more than a friend Kyle, she helped me survive." Shrugging, he gave in to Yua’s charms.
