Chapter 90: Chapter 90: The Body Doesn’t Lie
Late at night, the bright moon hung high.
In the master bedroom of the mountaintop villa at Yu Cui Garden, Gu Heng watched Jiang Ruan. Though her body was trembling faintly, her expression was one of stubborn defiance, and the corners of his lips couldn’t help but curl upward.
"What’s wrong?"
"Uncomfortable?"
Gu Heng murmured in Jiang Ruan’s ear.
"Hmph..."
"I feel nothing at all."
Jiang Ruan turned her head away, replying with a cold snort.
"Oh?"
"Really?"
"If you really feel nothing, then what’s this?"
Jiang Ruan stared at Gu Heng’s left hand, her beautiful eyes filled with shame and indignation.
’He’s so detestable!’
’He’s so despicable!’
’How could my body still react like this!’
Too ashamed to meet his gaze, Jiang Ruan simply squeezed her eyes shut.
Seeing her reaction, Gu Heng murmured softly, "A textbook case of your body betraying your words."
Gu Heng’s voice was soft, but in the dead quiet of the night, with only the two of them in the room, Jiang Ruan heard every word.
In that moment, she was overcome with the urge to give Gu Heng a vicious bite.
However, she restrained the impulse, keeping her eyes shut and feigning unresponsiveness.
"T-turn off the lights!"
Jiang Ruan opened her eyes again, her breathing a little ragged.
"Beg me."
Faced with Gu Heng’s demand, Jiang Ruan clenched her teeth, a stubborn light flickering in her eyes. In the end, she simply closed her eyes again and turned her head away.
’Beg him?’
’Never!’
’Not in this lifetime!’
Seeing this, Gu Heng couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle.
"Burying your head in the sand."
Hearing Gu Heng’s murmur, Jiang Ruan’s fair cheeks immediately puffed out in indignation.
Though Jiang Ruan was silent, as if she had fallen asleep, her body was exceptionally honest.
...
"Gu Heng!"
"I hate you!"
Jiang Ruan’s eyes suddenly flew open, shimmering with tears.
Hearing her words, Gu Heng froze for a moment.
"I’ll make you fall in love with me."
His gaze deepened as his fingers gently caressed her smooth forehead.
"In your dreams!"
Jiang Ruan raised a hand to wipe her tears, her eyes red-rimmed as she spoke in a cold voice.
Though she quickly collected herself, her face was flushed so red it looked as if blood might drip from it.
"Hm?"
"And you still say your body doesn’t betray your words?"
Gu Heng leaned forward slightly, a playful smirk on his face.
Jiang Ruan lowered the hands covering her mouth. Her red lips were slightly parted, and she gasped for breath.
As Jiang Ruan looked up...
Her gaze inevitably landed on his neck. His Adam’s apple was prominent, its outline as sharp as if carved from stone. The longer she looked, the more sensual she found it.
Her dark hair lay in disarray, the locks at her temples damp with sweat.
Her cheeks were flushed a shade of red more vibrant than any peach blossom.
Looking at the woman before him, Gu Heng suddenly understood why the emperors of old guarded their favorite concubines so jealously. It was impossible not to be utterly captivated.
"I thought I disgusted you?"
"But why do I get the feeling you’re quite fond of me?"
Gu Heng murmured in Jiang Ruan’s ear, his voice tinged with amusement.
Teased relentlessly by Gu Heng, perhaps out of shame and indignation, or perhaps out of a desire for revenge...
Jiang Ruan suddenly threw her arms around Gu Heng’s neck and latched her lips onto his.
A few seconds later, when Jiang Ruan lay back down, a vivid red hickey had bloomed on the left side of Gu Heng’s neck, just below his jaw.
Jiang Ruan said nothing, a defiant glint in her eyes.
Following her gaze, Gu Heng knew she had been up to no good.
"You think you can give me a hickey and I can’t give you one right back?"
Gu Heng touched the spot on his own neck, then his gaze fell upon the same place on Jiang Ruan’s pale, swan-like neck.
Sensing his gaze, a flash of panic crossed Jiang Ruan’s eyes. She moved to cover her neck, but Gu Heng was faster, catching both of her hands.
In the end, she could only watch helplessly as Gu Heng left a small, vivid red hickey on the exact same spot on her neck.
Because Jiang Ruan’s skin was incredibly fair and delicate, her hickey showed up far more vividly than his.
HUFF...
Afterward, they lay side-by-side on the large bed.
"Aren’t you afraid I’ll get pregnant?"
Suddenly, Jiang Ruan’s voice broke the silence.
"If you want to have my children, you don’t have to take the pill."
"Have one, and I’ll raise it."
"Have ten, and I’ll raise all ten."
"I can afford them."
At this, Gu Heng turned his head slightly. "You should give me a few daughters. I’ve always preferred girls. But a boy wouldn’t be bad either. With a mother as beautiful as you, he’s bound to be handsome."
"Heh..."
"In your dreams!"
Jiang Ruan had wanted to scare him, but she hadn’t expected him to be completely unfazed.
’Come to think of it, Gu Heng really did have nothing to fear.’
’With Gu Heng’s family and his Wealth, raising children would be a joy for him, not a burden.’
Feeling like she could never get the upper hand with Gu Heng, Jiang Ruan sat up, slightly vexed.
"Where are you going?"
Gu Heng asked.
"Showering and going to bed," Jiang Ruan replied, her expression blank.
"There’s no rush to shower."
Gu Heng toyed with the ends of her hair.
"Again?"
Jiang Ruan’s eyes widened.
"Who are you underestimating?"
Gu Heng huffed.
’Well, since I’ve already broken my self-control, I might as well go all out tonight.’
’I’ll just train twice as hard to make up for it tomorrow!’
So Gu Heng thought.
"I don’t want to,"
Jiang Ruan snapped, glaring at him.
"Okay, then."
"Beg me."
Gu Heng raised an eyebrow.
"You..."
Upon hearing his words, Jiang Ruan’s cheeks puffed out in anger once more.
The smile in Gu Heng’s eyes deepened as his fingers traced a slow path up her smooth spine...
