Ultra-Level Weeb: Rise in an Awakened World
Chapter 132: MC Might Actually Need a Plan This Time"So, how are you planning to fuck her?" Yennefer asked as she opened the back door of her shop.
Max paused for a moment.
He actually had to think about it.
Unlike Zerena, he didn’t know enough about Grace yet to simply pick a weakness and work around it. With Zerena, things had been relatively easy. He knew she was heavily motivated by money and the future of her business, which gave him an obvious way to negotiate with her.
More importantly, he had the System.
Once he’d figured out how to use the quests as leverage, manipulating Zerena into participating had become considerably easier.
With Yennefer, it had mostly been a stroke of luck.
Max had happened to discover just how badly she wanted to keep her family’s future secure—and how far she was willing to go to achieve that. Once he understood that, getting her to cooperate had become considerably easier.
He’d also realized something else.
As people grew older, they naturally started thinking more about what would happen after they were gone. They couldn’t stay around forever, so making sure their family had something to fall back on became increasingly important. For someone like Yennefer, who had already spent most of her life building a business and securing her family’s position, that concern was probably even stronger.
And, perhaps because of their age, both Yennefer and Zerena had gone a long time without a man’s attention.
That had made things considerably easier for Max with both of them.
And honestly, Max didn’t find himself thinking about their age at all.
What caught his attention was everything time had refined rather than taken away—their beautiful, mature faces, the fuller curves, and the smooth figures they’d clearly taken care to maintain. Their bodies had a softness and fullness that made them distinctly different from younger women, yet somehow even more appealing to him.
The age-reversing potions had certainly helped as well. Whatever years they’d accumulated were no longer obvious at a glance, leaving both women looking closer to fifty than their actual ages suggested.
With Grace, Max knew almost nothing beyond what he’d managed to learn during the past hour.
He could take the easy route and simply use the potions as leverage, offering her what she wanted in exchange for whatever he could get from her. But he wasn’t convinced it would work that easily.
If Grace was willing to spend 50,000 units on something worth only a fraction of that price, she clearly had access to enough money to obtain it elsewhere.
That meant she wasn’t simply shopping for a bargain.
She was desperate.
And considering what Yennefer had told him about the Melmarc family’s connections and dealings, Max had a feeling there was considerably more behind her urgency.
A mafia family didn’t usually need to pay outrageous prices for things.
They threatened
people.
They pressured them.
Or, if necessary, they simply took what they wanted.
Yet Grace was doing the exact opposite—offering nearly three times the normal value just to get her hands on a few healing potions.
That told Max everything he needed to know.
She was desperate.
Even if he couldn’t get her into bed immediately, he couldn’t afford to let an opportunity like this slip through his fingers. Whatever she needed those potions for, her desperation gave him leverage. And if he played his cards carefully, that leverage might eventually make getting closer to her considerably easier.
Still, Max wasn’t interested in relying on a single plan.
He wanted options.
Something he could use if the potion angle didn’t work, something else if Grace proved harder to handle than expected.
So, after thinking it over for a moment, he turned toward Yennefer.
"So, what do you think? How am I supposed to get her into bed?"
Yennefer ignored him for the moment, reaching over to switch on the lights and the air conditioner. The night was unusually humid, and even the short walk from the car had left both of them feeling uncomfortably sticky.
"I think you’re going to have to use those potions somehow," she said, settling beneath the cool air with a faint smirk. "Because I don’t think she’s going to fall for you just because of your looks."
Max gave her an unimpressed look.
Yennefer’s smirk widened.
"But honestly, I think you should get a little closer to her before deciding what to do. One more meeting should be enough to figure out what kind of woman you’re dealing with."
She paused, then glanced at him with a pointed glare.
"Besides, we only had a couple of conversations before you stuffed your dick down my throat."
Max smirked.
Yennefer’s words might have sounded dismissive, but her expression told a slightly different story. The sharp glare in her eyes, combined with that faintly dangerous smile, made it painfully obvious that she wasn’t nearly as indifferent as she wanted him to believe.
Max found the contradiction incredibly entertaining.
He walked toward her, slipping an arm around her waist as she leaned against the counter, and pulled himself closer.
"Because I thought you wanted me too..."
If anything, Max enjoyed making her angry even more than he enjoyed watching her try to hide it.
Yennefer actually chuckled when she heard him.
"Did you read some smut novel or something?" she asked, looking at him with amused disbelief. "For fuck’s sake, ’because I thought you wanted me too.’"
She didn’t push him away.
She also didn’t exactly move closer.
Instead, she simply stayed where she was, leaning against the counter while giving him the sort of look a woman might give an idiot who had somehow managed to talk himself into a hole and was now enthusiastically digging deeper.
"What exactly did I do or say that gave you that idea?"
Max chuckled.
His hands slid around the back of her waist as he pulled her a little closer.
"I thought, this woman talks way too much." He gave her a completely serious look.
"So obviously, she must want something stuffed down her throat to shut her up."
