Looking at the blue-haired goddess's radiant smile, Kuroha could not help but laugh. He reached out and gently pinched the girl's soft cheek.

"What is it?"

"Nothing. You looked so serious that I felt like teasing you."

Godolphin happily tilted her head into his touch. She then moved closer and affectionately wrapped both hands around Kuroha's arm.

After giving him a charming smile, she raised her hand high and called to Maruzensky, who was approaching with a tray of tea.

"Maru-chan, can you make mine black tea instead? And add plenty of sugar!"

The voluptuous, brown-haired beauty paused in surprise. She then shook her head with a helpless chuckle and turned back toward the house.

"Wouldn't that basically be sugar water?"

Kuroha gave Godolphin a speechless look.

"I want to try it."

Godolphin rubbed her cheek against his arm and spoke in a soft, coaxing voice.

Her current body had been formed from Kuroha's [Blessing Power], so their nightly intimacy inevitably felt rather unusual.

At the very least, however, their souls were deeply connected.

"You still haven't answered my question. Are you going to accompany Teio on her expedition with Darley next year?"

"That's the plan, but it's not as though I intend to leave you behind. McQueen still needs your guidance too."

"No, no, no."

Godolphin waved one slender, porcelain-white finger and softly explained, "I'm not bringing this up because I'm jealous."

"What I mean is... if you take Darley with you next year, what will happen to Byerley?"

Kuroha paused before reflexively answering.

"Byerley? Judging by when the horse girls on the team are expected to enter their prime, she'll probably wait until Brian—"

His voice abruptly trailed off.

Kuroha stared at the unusually earnest eyes of the goddess beside him, but he could no longer bring himself to finish what he had intended to say.

It appeared that she was asking about far more than a simple division of responsibilities.

Kuroha suddenly understood and laughed inwardly.

As the only legendary Trainer in the world to marry several horse girls and welcome them into his family, he was naturally exceptionally sensitive to changes in these adorable girls' feelings.

After only a moment's hesitation, he smoothly changed his answer.

"Well, she has nothing else to do anyway. Next year, Byerley can join Darley in overseeing Teio's expedition training."

Kuroha smiled and rubbed her head.

As they laughed and teased each other, a cup of warm tea appeared beside Kuroha's face.

"Darling~"
