"Zhao Xiao’an!"

"He’s single, she’s single. So what if something did happen?" Wang Chenning gave Luo Yuqing a teasing look. "Aren’t you overstepping your bounds a bit, Auntie?"

"Wang Chenning!" Luo Yuqing’s expression turned serious. "I’m warning you. Until you’ve met Zhao Xiao’an’s grandfather and received her family’s approval, you two are not to do anything out of line, even if you like each other. Otherwise, you won’t be able to bear the consequences!"

"Auntie!" Wang Chenning stepped forward and took Luo Yuqing’s arm, offering a placating smile. "Don’t tell me you got into another fight tonight? If it’s that bad, just go find someone to beat up. Why take it out on Xiao’an?"
