"Dear... Brother!" After forcing out those two words through gritted teeth, Lin Anning wanted to just die.

"Now that’s a good girl!" Wang Chenning set her down and gave her cheek a casual pinch. "Remember to call me that next time we meet."

Wang Chenning waved at her. "See you later, Miss Lin! Please, come again!"

"Alright," Wang Chenning agreed after a brief hesitation.

Back in the private room that Zheng Qiuhang kept immaculate for his exclusive use, Wang Chenning sent a text to Lin Annian: "Your sister just came looking for me. She wanted to have some fun, but I turned her down. Then she tried to force herself on me and almost succeeded. You’d better get her under control. Don’t let her come after me again. If I end up as your brother-in-law, it’ll be pretty awkward when you try to get your revenge!"

After sending the text, Wang Chenning sent a few photos as well.

While he was teasing Lin Anning earlier, he had set his phone to selfie mode.

"She came to my turf looking for trouble tonight. I put her in her place, but I doubt she’ll let it go."

"I’ll give you a simple solution: just sleep with her," Luo Yuqing immediately advised. "I refuse to believe she’d still come after you once you’ve had your way with her. Who knows, after you give her a taste of what it means to be a woman, she might just submit to you willingly. By then, you could sell her and she’d still be helping you count the cash!"

Wang Chenning was rendered speechless by the woman. He didn’t text her back.

But Luo Yuqing wasn’t done. She sent another message: "Guess what I talked about with Yang Xiaofei tonight?"

Wang Chenning: "Don’t want to know."

"Why are you so boring?"

After that message, Luo Yuqing started a video call. The moment he answered, he was greeted by the sight of her looking sexy in her sleepwear.

Once the call connected, she deliberately leaned forward a little. With a seductive look, she asked, "Hey, little brother. Not rolling around in the sheets with Zhao Xiao’an tonight?"

Wang Chenning asked, "What did you say to Yang Xiaofei?"

A soft knock came from the door of the private room, and Wang Chenning immediately ended his video call with Luo Yuqing.

After hanging up, he sent her a text: "Someone’s here. Don’t forget to get me that detailed file on the Lin family, or next time I’ll make sure you can’t walk for days."
