Chapter 175: Chapter 175: Just That Brazen

Wang Chenning moved so fast no one had time to react.

Zhao Xiao’an was stunned.

Lin Anning was so scared she froze, forgetting even to cry.

After being slapped twice, Lin Annian stood there in a daze, looking as if he was questioning his very existence.

The two bodyguards with Lin Annian froze for a second, but they reacted quickly, immediately rushing toward Wang Chenning.

Wang Chenning grabbed Lin Annian and used his body as a weapon, swinging him toward the two bodyguards.

The two bodyguards were startled and scrambled to dodge.

The bodyguard had just gotten up and was about to attack Wang Chenning, but Wang Chenning’s assault was faster than he’d anticipated. With no time to dodge, he had no choice but to raise his arms to block.

But Wang Chenning’s strength was terrifying. He broke through the bodyguard’s block and smashed a heavy fist into his chest.

The bodyguard cried out in pain and collapsed limply.

Wang Chenning followed up with a heavy kick to the man’s stomach. The bodyguard let out another pained scream and curled up like a shrimp, lying motionless on the ground.

The other bodyguard was already struggling to his feet, but Wang Chenning gave him no time to react. He leaped into the air and kicked the man hard, sending him flying some distance away.

The bodyguard slammed into a nearby willow tree with a BANG. The tree shook violently, dislodging a bird’s nest that fell from its branches and landed squarely on the man as he slumped to the ground.

It takes a while to describe, but the entire confrontation lasted less than a minute.

Still reeling from the shock, Lin Anning hadn’t even processed what was happening before Wang Chenning had already ended the fight.

Dazed from Wang Chenning’s three slaps, Lin Annian saw him walking over again and immediately tried to flee in terror.

He only managed two steps before Wang Chenning grabbed him and lifted him off the ground.

Wang Chenning didn’t strike again. Instead, a grin spread across his face as he asked, "Lin Annian, do you believe I slept with your sister last night?"

"You dare!" Lin Annian roared, despite being held captive by Wang Chenning. "If you dare touch my sister, I’ll kill you! I’ll kill your whole family!"

"I get it! If I had a sister and someone bullied her, I’d also fight them to the death," Wang Chenning said, still grinning. "Besides, your sister looks like a man in a dress and has a terrible figure. Who’d want her, unless they were blind? I wouldn’t sleep with her even if you paid me."

Lin Anning was so furious she could have spat blood. If she hadn’t just witnessed Wang Chenning’s incredible fighting skills, she would have charged forward to fight him to the death.

Wang Chenning continued, "But your sister just came running over, claiming I slept with her last night and that she was very satisfied. "Wang Chenning, let go of my brother!" Lin Anning finally snapped and lunged at Wang Chenning. "If you humiliate me again, I’ll kill you!"

"Get lost, you small-chested, brainless man-in-a-dress!" Wang Chenning cursed rudely. "You’re just going to get your brother into more trouble. Go home and let him deal with you!"

Then, his expression turning pleasant again, he asked Lin Annian, "Today, your sister falsely accused me of sleeping with her right in front of Xiao’an. How do you propose we settle that score?"

Lin Anning rushed up to Wang Chenning, but her courage failed her. Not daring to make a move, she hesitated for a moment before taking two steps back.

She was afraid Wang Chenning would slap her, too.

"Wang Chenning, let me go!" Lin Annian struggled violently. "If you dare touch my sister, you’re a dead man!"

"I would never touch her. Don’t get your hopes up! You’d be too lucky to have a brother-in-law as outstanding as me." As he spoke, Wang Chenning suddenly slapped Lin Annian again.

This slap was heavy, splitting the corner of Lin Annian’s mouth and drawing blood.

For the first three slaps, Wang Chenning had used just the right amount of force. They sounded loud, but they didn’t really hurt.

But for this one, he’d used thirty percent of his strength, and it immediately made Lin Annian’s face swell up.

"Lin Anning, from now on, every time you come looking for me, I’ll hit your brother!" Wang Chenning declared, pointing at Lin Annian, who was backing away while clutching his face. "If you don’t want to keep getting him hurt, then get lost and stay away from me. And you, Lin Annian, you remember this: for every time you come looking for trouble, I’ll teach your sister a lesson."

Lin Anning’s heart pounded in fear. She wanted to say something but didn’t dare, so she just scrambled back a few more steps.

So, the officers who had responded to the call left the matter alone, departing as if they’d been granted a royal pardon.

"Bring on whatever tricks you have!" Wang Chenning said, smiling cheerfully at Lin Anning. "Whether you want to play dirty or play by the book, I’m ready. Stop with the empty threats and show me some action. Don’t make me look down on you!"

He then added mockingly, "My offer from yesterday still stands. If you want a second shot at puberty to become a real woman, I can help you. You’ll just have to pay my consultation fee, of course. After all, I’m a doctor. Curing the sick and helping patients with their troubles is my sworn duty!"

"You... you bastard!" Lin Anning looked ready to lunge at Wang Chenning again.
