"Bai Yanni told me!" Yang Xiaofu said, looking at Wang Chenning with wide, beautiful eyes. "I know she was just trying to stir the pot by telling me, but as soon as I heard, I had to come see the show for myself. Brother-in-law, how are you planning to take care of Zhang Guoping?"

Wang Chenning gave her a look that said he couldn’t be bothered. "The day Zhang Guoping tries to bully you is the day I’ll make him beg for mercy."

As they were speaking, Wang Chenning’s phone rang. It was a call from Yang Xiaofei.

After craning their necks to see the caller ID, both Yang Xiaofu and Yang Xiaodong quieted down.

"When are you coming over?" Yang Xiaofei didn’t ask about what had happened that night, only when he was coming.

"I’ll be over in a bit. I’m with your brother and sister!"

"Alright, I’ll be waiting," Yang Xiaofei replied without any further questions or surprise, and then hung up the phone.

"Let’s go see your sister," Wang Chenning said, getting to his feet. He then turned to Zheng Qiuhang. "You and Yang Xiaomi can chat a bit more."

"Miss Yang, please stay here tonight," Wang Chenning said to Yang Xiaomi, telling her to stay for the next couple of days. He added that he would have her manager, Sister Lan, come over tomorrow.
