After the light touch, Yang Xiaofei merely shivered but otherwise showed no reaction.

Wang Chenning immediately touched her again.

"But I have a business trip tomorrow afternoon!" "Then before I go to class," Wang Chenning said, having already packed his things. "I’m heading back now. You should take a shower and get some sleep. Have someone pick me up at six tomorrow morning."

"Why don’t you just sleep here tonight? There are plenty of rooms, anyway," Yang Xiaofei said calmly. "It’ll save you the trouble of running back and forth."

Wang Chenning studied Yang Xiaofei for a few moments. In the end, he didn’t ask any more questions and just nodded. "Alright, then. I’m pretty tired. I just want to take a shower and sleep."

The two of them said nothing more. As instructed by Yang Xiaofei, Wang Chenning went to a guest room to rest.
