Chapter 90: Chapter 90: Can’t Take This Woman’s Antics

Wang Chenning grabbed the bathroom doorknob and turned it. To his surprise, the door wasn’t locked.

Without a second thought, he opened the door and rushed inside.

He was startled to find Yang Xiaofu slumped on the floor, surrounded by a large pool of blood.

"What happened?" Wang Chenning grabbed a bath towel from the edge of the sink, wrapped it around Yang Xiaofu, and lifted her into his arms.

"It hurts so much!" Yang Xiaofu sobbed. "I slipped and fell. I don’t know what cut me, but there’s so much blood! You have to help me!"

Apparently, water had gotten into her ear while she was showering. She had been hopping on one foot, trying to shake it out.

Unfortunately, as she landed from the second hop, her foot slipped and she fell.

As she fell, her leg hit the shower’s sliding door.

"Then give me a proper examination!" Yang Xiaofu said, once again throwing caution to the wind. "Make me more perfect, okay? During my last physical, the doctor said I have a few nodules, which could potentially become cancerous. You should check them for me, too!"

"Fine!" Wang Chenning agreed after taking a deep breath. ’It seems it’s all the same to you whether I touch you or not!’

Though she acted as if she had thrown caution to the wind, Yang Xiaofu was inwardly very nervous; her muscles remained taut as Wang Chenning examined her. Fortunately, his touch was gentle, but this very gentleness only made her anticipate more.

After closing her eyes in thought for a moment, she slowly shifted her body toward the edge of the sofa. Then, with a sudden cry, she threw her arms around Wang Chenning and held him tight.

"I’m falling!" she cried out anxiously as she clung to him.

Once she had a hold of him, she pressed her entire body tightly against his.

"It’s so unfair!" she pouted, her face red as she gave him a pinch. "I feel completely exposed in front of you. I..."

Wang Chenning yelped and quickly swatted her hand away. "Would you stop messing around? I’m a doctor, you know that?"

"Brother-in-law!" Yang Xiaofu was completely unfazed. With a giggle, she brought her lips to his ear and whispered, "You’re so... impressive!"

Wang Chenning knew exactly what she meant. ’Shameless hussy!’ he cursed inwardly as he struggled to push her away.

But Yang Xiaofu’s embrace was tight, and she even made a few bold movements, making Wang Chenning so hesitant that he didn’t dare use too much force.

"Brother-in-law, you’re all sweaty. Want me to help you wash up?" Yang Xiaofu murmured into his ear, her breath warm and fragrant. "Hehe, I can see you’re not so perfect yourself. Why don’t I find *your* flaws for you?"
