The Great Lord slowly stood up and carefully examined the corpses nearby, finding no survivors among them. In other words, of all those who came in, he was the only one left alive, which was the strangest thing to the Great Lord.
What was so special about him? How did he manage to survive under such pressure?
With questions in mind, the Great Lord suddenly recalled that when he first entered, he saw a massive sculpture in the cave. Remembering this sculpture, he stopped pondering over how he survived the pressure but instead looked up hastily in search of it.
The enormous sculpture was the same one Ye Qing first saw when he entered the cave. The sculpture was quite far from the entrance, but due to its colossal size, the Great Lord immediately saw it clearly upon looking up.
This sculpture was also in the form of a human. However, the fangs protruding from its mouth, the extraordinarily long fingernails on its hands, and the six pairs of wings unfurling behind it, all indicated that this sculpture was once a monster.
If Ye Qing were here, he would undoubtedly be shocked again. According to the inscriptions left by Guiguzi, this sculpture should be what the god transformed into. But could this creature really be a god? It clearly looked like a monster; how could it be considered a god?
But the Great Lord, upon seeing this sculpture, froze in expression. In that instant, he completely forgot where he was and the dangers he'd just encountered, staring blankly at the sculpture as if he were witnessing the most astonishing event.
After a long time, he finally came to his senses. Gazing at the sculpture, he suddenly knelt on the ground, with a voice trembling in excitement, he shouted: "Great and wise King, eternal Deity Master of the Dark Holy See, I... I have seen you, the eternal Dekula King!"
If others were present, they would have been shocked by the Great Lord's words. Especially Ye Qing, who, upon hearing this, would certainly capture the Great Lord to interrogate him. This was because, in the Great Lord's words, this sculpture was also a god, which coincided with what Guiguzi claimed. Could it be that the predecessor of this sculpture was indeed a god?
The Great Lord's reverence for this Dekula King seemed to come from the bottom of his heart. He knelt for a long time in admiration before finally raising his head, with tears glistening in his eyes. Wiping the tear marks forcefully, he advanced, kneeling every few steps, until he reached the base of the sculpture. Here, he finally got a clear look at the sculpture.
Though the sculpture was enormous, it was presently pierced with many weapons, each deeply embedded within it, leaving only the handles exposed. These numerous weapons made the sculpture look like a hedgehog, instilling a creepy sensation.
As Guiguzi mentioned, the sculpture was initially suppressed by the power of the Primal Mysterious Body in this cave. He set up mechanisms requiring one hundred and eight Famed Instruments to open the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master, meant to seal the one hundred and eight vital points of the sculpture. This way, even if the power of the Primal Mysterious Body were absorbed, the sculpture would still be subdued here. Currently, the weapons on the sculpture were indeed the one hundred and eight Famed Instruments brought by the Wo Country's Ninja!
The Great Elder was the most wronged, not knowing to his death where the one hundred and eight Famed Instruments he brought ended up.
Observing the one hundred and eight Famed Instruments on the sculpture, the Great Lord's expression changed again, and his eyes filled with endless rage. Furiously, he roared: "Great King, who dared to desecrate your divine body with so many scars? Your descendant has failed to preserve your divine body in its entirety. Please, pass down your judgment!"
The Great Lord knelt on the ground reverently, seemingly awaiting punishment from the sculpture. However, since the sculpture was sealed, how could it pass judgment on him? The Great Lord was confused in his heart and didn't grasp the situation in front of him. But after kneeling for a while without any response, he finally raised his head again to look at the ever-static sculpture.
The sculpture appeared similar to an ordinary one, completely made of stone. Other than its enormous size, it had nothing special. Had the Great Lord not seen those mobile sculptures in the previous caves, he would have regarded it as a regular stone sculpture. But having seen those, he was convinced this sculpture was undoubtedly the form of Dracula. Hence, he regarded this sculpture as Dracula's true body.
In fact, according to the Church's secret history, the Dekula King did indeed disappear in Huaxia. The Church always sought to investigate this matter, yet found nothing. Now, seeing the sculpture of the Dekula King here, the Great Lord naturally believed it to be Dracula's body.
After staring at the sculpture for a while, the Great Lord discerned some clues. Taking a deep breath, he proclaimed: "Great King, are these lowly weapons affecting your activity? Don't worry, your descendant will risk his life to remove them all, so the Great King will no longer be constrained!"
Of course, there was no response, but the Great Lord understood he wouldn't receive any answer by asking. Thus, after finishing his words, he immediately stood up and approached the sculpture, reached out to grab a longsword at the left ankle of the sculpture, and tried to pull it out with force.
If it had been another stone sculpture with a famed instrument embedded, it would be easy to pull out. After all, a famed instrument is extremely sharp, slicing through gold or jade effortlessly, and cutting through stone isn't challenging either. Even if it were an ordinary person without martial arts skills, they could pull a famed instrument from stone.
However, this longsword didn't budge easily as the Great Lord anticipated. He exerted almost all his strength but couldn't move it even slightly. The longsword seemed integrated with the sculpture, inseparable unless the sculpture was shattered first, making it impossible to retrieve the longsword.
"What is happening? Why can't I pull out these weapons?" The Great Lord wondered, trembling, as he looked at Dracula's sculpture. "Great and wise King, your descendant seeks your guidance; please, tell me how I can help you break this seal?"
The sculpture remained completely motionless, like an ordinary one. Despite not receiving the desired response, the Great Lord was not discouraged and moved to another side of the sculpture, seizing another longsword to pull it out. Yet, this attempt concluded like the previous one, as he couldn't move the longsword no matter how much force he employed.
The Great Lord circled the sculpture several times, tried all the lower weapons, and achieved nothing. Lacking alternatives, he gritted his teeth, apologized to the sculpture, and began climbing it to remove other weapons. If he couldn't manage to pull out the lower ones, the upper ones seemed hopeless. He ascended about seven or eight meters high, attempted over twenty weapons, yet failed to budge any. The weapons really seemed merged with the sculpture, making them unreachable by human strength.
After numerous futile efforts, the Great Lord felt somewhat dispirited. Holding onto the sculpture's leg, he looked up at it and, trembling, said: "Great King, has your descendant truly failed to save you? What means did those despicable Huaxia People use to embed these weapons in your body?"
The sculpture stayed as lifeless as ever. Unlike the God's Servants' sculptures seen by Ye Qing earlier, which, despite being sealed, had gleaming eyes, the Dekula King's sculpture's eyes lacked any spirit, appearing genuinely ordinary.
Unable to obtain a response, the Great Lord was quite exhausted, having been severely injured earlier. Although he barely managed movement now, his strength was insufficient. Grasping the sculpture, he took long breaths and declared: "Great King, your descendant lacks the strength to unseal you temporarily and must rest. But rest assured, your descendant will soon recover strength and, using your remaining power, unseal you to restore your freedom!"
As the Great Lord spoke, he intended to slide down the sculpture's leg. However, heavily injured and exhausted from the exertion, he lacked the strength. As he slid down, his grip slipped, causing him to fall right onto the sculpture's foot.
The Great Lord was clutching the sculpture's leg and fell precisely on its foot. The sculpture was approximately ten meters tall, with each foot as large as a person. Falling onto it resulted in a muffled groan, and he distinctly felt a box in his waist pocket break. The box contained Dracula's blood!
