Chapter 584: Chapter 584 – Number 1 player – Part 4.

"POWIN AND PHANTASIA ARE WORKING TOGETHER?!" – shouted Apple as he was ridding a flying massive eagle monster through the skies alongside S.M, while at the same time using {Chat – Video Call} to communicate with the surviving member of the Coin Toss that somehow avoided the slaughter.

"Y-yes..." – replied the hooded player who was missing his right arm.

"Only us 3 survived because we ran away as soon as the chaos started... We wanted to warn you, but before we could even do that, everybody got already killed."

"Shit..." – said Apple.

"?"

"Hey, what is going on? Did something happened in jungle?" – asked S.M.

"Powin and Phantasia teamed up, before then wiping out our entire force there." – replied Apple.

"!?"

"WHAT!? WHY THE HELL THESE TWO ARE WORKING TOGETHER?!" – shouted extremely scared and confused S.M.

"I DON’T FUCKING KNOW! I’VE JUST HEARD THIS FROM THE SURVIVOR!" – shouted back Apple who was just as confused as S.M.

(FUCK! They all gotten wiped out!? And these monsters are working together?!) – thought panicking Apple.

(This is the worst possible situation for us!)

(Why the hell are these two even working with each other?!)

(Considering the fact that they had left that purple lava zones means that they had obtained the divinity from there!)

(Phantasia has one, and another one of his members... And the third?)

(Is it for his third member? Or by any chance is it for Powin?!)

(WHAT THE FUCK IS HE DOING!?)

(Does he have any idea if SHE of all the people in the game were to obtain the divinity!?)

(But what if the alliance between these two were forged?)

(I-if that is the case... Then we maybe fucked somewhat.)

"Retreat. Abaddon the operation in the jungle and just get out. NOW!" – said Apple as he ordered survivors to get out before then ending the call.

"S.M! STOP! WE ARE GIVING UP ON THE FOREST!" – shouted Apple to S.M as moments later the two men had their massive eagles stop in place.

"You sure about this? We invested a lot of time and resources in investigating that jungle?" – shouted S.M.

"Do you really fucking thing we can do anything with these two monsters around!?" – shouted back Apple.

"We have no choice but to give up on the jungle anyway, since our forces there had been wiped out! Do you really think we can find the temple all on our own while dealing them at the same time?"

"Just return to the base and locate the next possible location of the temple!" – shouted Apple as he turned around with his eagle before then flying back.

(Still... This isn’t not good... This is not good at all!) – thought alarmed Apple.

(Forget losing the divinity there!)

(Powin and Phantasia?! This is the worst combination ever?!)

(How in the bloody hell these two even managed to form an alliance in the first place!?)

(If these two are truly working together... Then we won’t have an easy time anytime soon.)

After Apple’s guild was completely wiped out, Phantasia alongside his army of monsters as well as Maparapara and Powin were conducting the search for the temple.

Thanks to the large number of monsters, the group was able to quickly turn the entire place upside down, while at the same time using the digging sites left by the Coin Toss guild that were made by them while trying to find the temple in order to speed up their search.

"..."

(Huh... This is really freaking effective.) – thought Powin as she was staring at the army made out of countless different monsters just digging around.

(It shouldn’t really take us long if that guy can truly control THAT many monsters.)

(...Which is annoying.)

(I’ve fought that guy... What was his name? Doom?)

(A lich player that could control unimaginable number of undeads at his disposal.)

(I’ve heard that he was once a member of some guild, before then quitting, saying some stuff that "they were slowing me down".)

(Anyway, Doom’s undead servants were somewhat strong, as some of them could take on the players alone.)

(And Phantasia? He is somewhat same.)

(I saw how his army was destroying the players... But he is also skilled in crafting, close range combat and even magic?)

(He is dangerous in many different ways....)

(Then again, the way he spoke about Apple and Coin Toss.)

(I don’t think he was kidding.)

(If the divinity is truly powerful enough to influence the whole game and these guys were already hunting for them long ago, while already having now 3 confirmed divinity users... What was the divinity of that knight girl anyway? I think we destroyed her too soon for her to even use it.)

(Anyway... Should I help out in destroying them?)

(Honestly, that DOES sounds like good decision... Then again, wouldn’t I be playing right into that bastard’s hand?)

(...But again, if they could become far more annoying than Phantasia in the future... Then I think I really should deal with them.)

"?" – Powin looked up as she noticed one of the false harpies singing while also flying around.

"..."

"Huh."

"They found it?" – said Powin as she charged at max speed to the harpy’s location, quickly traversing the jungle before then arriving at the mountain that was completely covered in tree roots.

"?!"

"O-oh. You are already here? I only just told harpy to signal my location." – said Phantasia in his massive monster form as he was holding the ripped out massive tree roots.

"Did you found it?" – asked Powin as she noticed a massive spot where a large number of tree roots were ripped out, revealing something like a cave passage that was completely hidden by the roots.

"Yeb. I did." – replied Phantasia.

"A lot of the digging was done around this mountain by the Coin Toss by the looks of things, with some spots in the mountain wall being dug out the same way."

"So I’ve had my earth digging monsters look around, trying to find some kind of open space in the mountain and they found something."

"By the looks of things, we just arrived in time, since it wouldn’t had been long before they discovered it." – said Phantasia as he threw away the massive tree roots.

"So... You are saying that this is by any chance the temple we were looking for?" – asked Powin.

"Don’t know. We will need to check." - replied Phantasia.

"However, we have easy way of confirming it."

"I will just enter with you, and if they kick me out, that means that this is a temple."

"?"

"Kick you out?" – asked Powin.

"One divinity per user rule." – replied Phantasia.

"Player can only obtain one divinity."

"Not only that, I’ve tried entering the temple of the elder god while already having my own divinity, but the priest of the temple told me to get out."

"..."

"Why are you telling me that you have already divinity?" – asked Powin as she raised up her guard.

"The slime was obvious, but I don’t see any changes with you."

"Because you would find out sooner or later." – replied Phantasia.

"Divinities react to each other."

"If you are close enough to another divinity user and look directly at them while having also ’vision’ of them, like they are not hiding and what not, your divinity reacts and warns you about different divinity."

"..."

(You know... HOW did he knew that knight girl had divinity when she couldn’t even fight back or show off anything special?) – thought Powin as she connected the dots.

"..."

"So... Do I do the dungeon run alone?" – asked Powin.

"Pretty much." – replied Phantasia.

"Not only that, it may not be even a combat type dungeon. The one that I visited had nothing to do with combat at all." – said Phantasia as Maparapara arrived at the scene.

"So... Found it?" – asked Maparapara.

"Yeb." – replied Phantasia.

"Are you ready?" – asked Phantasia as he turned towards Powin.

"Yeah." – replied Powin.

"Well then... Maparapara. I’m going to enter alongside Powin. Guard the entrance since there is a chance that Coin Toss could be still lurking around."

"Will do." – replied Maparapara before moments later the two players entered the cave, while the slime grown in size and used her lava body to completely seal off the entrance.

Powin took out a torch from her inventory, before then duo of players headed down the path... And then finding something.

A gate made out of gold which had symbols thunder clouds and skulls carvings on its surface.

Phantasia approached the gate and opened it up, allowing the two players to get inside.

[You have entered the temple of [Deadly Weather Jungle].]

"...So, is this the temple or not?" – asked Powin as in the next moment the torches inside of the room lit up, revealing a massive spiral staircase that led downwards.

"Well, we should find out soon." – replied Phantasia as Powin put away her torch.

And as just Phantasia said that, the two players noticed the bend celling of the room, which suddenly started gathering up a small thunder cloud, that in the very next moment after forming had shot down the thunder on the other side of the room.

And in the place where the thunder fell, there was a man, wearing a clothing made out of skinned hide jaguar while also being covered and tribal tatous and wearing a helmet made out of jaguar head.
