Walker Of The Worlds

Chapter 3700: Successfully Refined!

Chapter 3700: Successfully Refined!

The hammers formed instantly, shaped through the Earthen Armament Aspect and reinforced through layered applications of Reinforce and Hone. The thin spatial layer created through Meld coated each hammer head, giving them the ability to interact directly with the energy they were about to face.

The shards came.

Sharp.

Dense.

Unforgiving.

But Lin Mu met them with absolute precision.

Each hammer intercepted its target, redirecting the incoming force rather than destroying it. The shards curved through space, their trajectories altered through subtle adjustments in angle and pressure.

They returned.

Back toward the husk.

"Now!" Lin Mu called again.

The hammer struck.

The reflected shards collided simultaneously.

The cycle completed.

A thin layer of the husk peeled away.

Barely visible.

Barely measurable.

Yet undeniably real.

The process continued.

Again.

And again.

Each cycle removed another layer.

Each repetition refined the material further.

The pace was slow, almost imperceptible, yet it was steady. Layers thinner than a hair’s breadth separated from the husk, drifting away like fragments of something ancient being carefully uncovered.

The elders began to understand. This was no longer a battle of brute force. This was refinement in its purest form. They were not breaking the husk. They were peeling it, just like an onion.

Lin Mu observed carefully as they worked, his perception locked onto the subtle changes within the material. He could feel the internal structure becoming clearer, more defined, as if a hidden form was gradually being revealed beneath countless layers of distortion.

But he also realized something else.

The process, while effective, was still too slow.

They needed more force.

More pressure.

More control.

In the next cycle, he decided to push further.

The husk entered the forge again.

Refine.

The flames surged.

Place.

The husk settled.

The moment approached.

This time, Lin Mu prepared in advance.

The hammers formed as before, their structure perfected through repetition. The spatial coating was applied, refined further to ensure stability under greater stress. But just as the elder prepared to strike, Lin Mu activated something new.

SHUA

The Dominating Gravity Dao Embryo appeared.

A shimmering sphere formed above him, its runes rotating slowly as a profound pressure began to spread outward.

Lin Mu focused and the Dao Skill activated.

"Heaven Crushing Descent!"

He did not release it outward though and neither did not let it affect the surroundings. Instead he condensed it and directed it, focusing it entirely upon the husk. The pressure descended with an absolute immensity.

The space around the husk distorted slightly under the force, its structure compressing as gravity itself was concentrated to a single point.

Lin Mu’s body trembled.

The energy required was enormous.

Even with the support of the Dao Forge and the continuous influx of energy from the immortal stones, the strain was significant. His breathing deepened, his focus sharpening as he maintained control over the skill.

The moment arrived and the spatial energy erupted. At the same time the hammers moved as the shards were redirected.

And then the strike fell.

The reflected energy, combined with the hammer’s force and the crushing pressure of gravity, converged upon the husk in a single, overwhelming moment.

The reaction was immediate.

DANGGGG

A deep vibration spread through the material.

The husk trembled violently.

Then it yielded.

This time, it was not a thin layer.

A section nearly a centimeter thick separated from the surface.

The piece broke away, drifting outward as the remaining husk stabilized.

The elders froze and their eyes widened. This level of progress was far beyond anything they had expected to achieve at this stage. But before they could react further, something else happened.

The husk changed.

HONG

A new surge of spatial energy emerged.

Yet it was different.

It did not erupt violently. It did not lash outward in chaotic bursts. Instead, it moved inward and began swirling. It circulated within the husk staying contained. The surface of the husk began to glow faintly.

The roughness that had once defined it seemed to smooth out, its structure becoming more uniform, more refined. The light that emanated from it was soft yet clear, like that of a perfectly polished gem.

The elders exchanged glances.

A trace of unease appeared in their expressions.

"Did we... go too far?" one of them asked quietly.

Another frowned. "It is not reacting like before."

They watched carefully, waiting and expecting the husk to respond.

They expected it to rebuild its defenses or unleash another surge. But nothing happened. Instead the swirling energy settled, the surface stabilized and the husk became still.

Completely still.

Lin Mu’s eyes narrowed slightly as he observed the change. Then understanding dawned and a faint smile appeared on his face.

"It’s done," he said.

The elders looked at him.

"What do you mean?" one of them asked.

Lin Mu stepped forward, his gaze fixed on the husk.

"We have removed the chaotic energy," he explained. "What remains is the refined structure." His Spatial Perception confirmed it.

There was no more chaotic spatial energy left.

The elders’ expressions shifted as realization followed. It was slow at first then it washed over them all at once.

One of them let out a deep breath.

"We didn’t just break it," he murmured.

Another nodded.

"We actually refined it completely!"

The husk, once an untouchable mass of unstable power, had finally reached a state of balance. Its true form had been revealed. And for the first time since they had begun, it no longer resisted them.

The atmosphere within the Dao Forge realm shifted after the husk stabilized. The frantic pace that had defined their work for over a year finally eased, replaced by a cautious, almost reverent stillness.

The dwarven elders gathered around the refined husk, their earlier exhaustion forgotten as curiosity and anticipation took hold of them once again. What lay before them was no longer a volatile mass of unstable spatial energy, but a perfected material that had revealed its true nature.

One of the Fireforge elders stepped forward first, his eyes narrowed as he studied the surface of the husk.
