War God Long Ao

Chapter 445: Long Clan Senior

Chapter 445: Chapter 445: Long Clan Senior

"I want to know why."

Long Ao nodded. He really wanted to know how the other party had known he was a Dragon Martial Artist and, on top of that, that he had developed Talent Divine Abilities.

’Just as I was thinking, it would be one thing if he only guessed that I’m a Dragon Martial Artist. But the Talent Divine Abilities... I just can’t figure that out.’

Long Ao was completely confident that as long as he didn’t unleash his Talent Divine Abilities, no one could possibly discover them.

"Are you under the impression that the only reason I haven’t moved against you is because I’m wary of the Heaven and Earth’s Momentum you possess?"

Hearing this, both the Fire Qilin and Long Ao were stunned. They never imagined he would admit it so openly.

’He’s right. That’s exactly what we thought. The reason this Divine Spirit didn’t dare to make a move was its fear of the Heaven and Earth’s Momentum I carry.’

"Hahaha, Long Ao, let me tell you something. I’m actually a member of the Long Clan, too. Now do you understand?"

Long Ao and the Fire Qilin stood frozen in place, their minds completely blank.

’A Divine Dao Martial Artist from the Long Clan?’

Long Ao finally understood why the man had been able to see through his identity at a glance, and why even the development of his Talent Divine Abilities couldn’t be hidden from him.

The Long Clan had countless branches, nine major levels, and innumerable members.

’Ultimately, no matter what level a disciple of the Long Family was, the blood of the Long Clan flowed in their veins. But as generations passed, the bloodline gradually thinned, and the sense of clan duty among disciples from the various branches diminished.’

"Elder, how should I address you?"

"After so many years, I’ve forgotten my own name. A name is just a designation, anyway. You can just call me Nameless."

He shrugged helplessly.

"Elder Nameless."

Long Ao let out a long sigh of relief. After learning the man’s identity, neither he nor the Fire Qilin were worried anymore.

’Long Ao knew that since Nameless was a Divine Dao Martial Artist from the Long Clan, he was basically from the same stock. Surely he wouldn’t act against one of his own?’

"Long Ao, tell me about your background."

At this point, Long Ao saw no reason to hide anything. "Elder Nameless, I’m from the Ninth Level Long Family in Red Fire Town. However, our family has recently been promoted to a Sixth Level Long Family."

"Wait. You’re saying your family was originally just a Ninth Level Long Family?"

Nameless was shocked to hear of Long Ao’s origins. He never imagined that the young man was merely a disciple from a Ninth Level Long Family.

’In my mind, I always thought Long Ao was at least a disciple from a Third Level Long Family, and quite possibly from the main branch of the Long Clan itself. But the reality...?’

Long Ao nodded, feeling not the slightest bit of shame for being a disciple of a Ninth Level Long Family.

"Not bad, not bad at all. Long Ao, have you been to the Long Clan’s ancestral hall for the awakening rite?"

Once again, Long Ao hid nothing. "Elder Nameless, I’ve never been to the Long Clan for the so-called ancestral hall rite. My Talent Divine Abilities... they awakened on their own by accident."

Nameless was utterly stunned. What had happened to Long Ao was simply unprecedented.

Nameless had never heard of a Long Clan disciple awakening Talent Divine Abilities through their bloodline without undergoing the ancestral hall rite. If word of this got back to the Long Clan, it would undoubtedly cause a massive uproar.

Nameless was certain that the Long Clan knew absolutely nothing about Long Ao’s situation.

He could just imagine it. ’If the Long Clan knew about Long Ao, they would surely pour all their resources into nurturing him. How could they possibly have allowed him to come to a place like this? It’s a stroke of luck that he ran into me. If he had encountered another Divine Spirit, the Long Clan would have suffered a tremendous loss.’

He silently cursed the Long Clan. ’Of course, Nameless knew the clan inside and out—its system was full of holes. So many talented disciples from the low-level families were nipped in the bud before they even had a chance to mature.’

"Elder Nameless, I’d really like to know... what exactly happened back then?"

Waving his hand, Nameless said with a sigh of resignation, "Long Ao, with your current strength, you aren’t qualified to know about this matter yet. Remember this: with your talent and potential, your future is limitless. Don’t act rashly. If you had arrived here ten years earlier, you could have received my inheritance... but now..."

A hint of sorrow in his voice, Nameless continued, "However, I hope you can walk a longer path. Unless you have absolutely no other choice, I advise you not to accept any Divine Dao Inheritance."

Long Ao nodded. "I understand."

Long Ao understood perfectly what Nameless meant.

’Long Fu had already warned me about this. The reason was simple: once I accept a Divine Dao Inheritance, my progress would be capped. Breaking through to higher Realms would become nearly impossible.’

’That was why I had already decided that no matter what happened, under no circumstances would I accept a Divine Dao Inheritance. My dream is to reach the very peak of Martial Arts, one step at a time.’

According to the Fire Qilin, Divine Dao Martial Artists are divided into the Five Realms: the Void God Realm, the Condensing Spirit Realm, the Human God Realm, the Earth God Realm, and the Celestial Divine Realm.

’My goal is simple: to become a Celestial Divine.’

"In a moment, I will help you force open the Seal here. Remember, once you leave, do not come back. If you alert the master of this Seal, it won’t just be you in trouble—even the Long Family will face a major disaster."

Although Nameless didn’t elaborate, Long Ao understood perfectly. The Divine Dao Martial Artist who had sealed the bones of the gods here was immensely powerful. He didn’t need Nameless to tell him twice; of course he wouldn’t come back.

"Elder Nameless, aren’t you planning to leave?"

Nameless gave a bitter laugh. "My Divine Spirit is bound by the Seal. It’s impossible for me to leave this place."

Long Ao sighed deeply. For some reason, he felt a pang of sorrow. No matter what, this man was a member of his clan. If he could leave, it would be like recovering a lost Divine Dao Martial Artist for the family. But in the end, the Seal here was simply too powerful. If even Nameless couldn’t break it to escape, what hope did he and the Fire Qilin have?

Feeling helpless and sad, Long Ao didn’t dwell on the issue. But he had already made a decision. As soon as his Cultivation was strong enough to break through to the Divine Dao Realm, he would definitely return and save Elder Nameless.

"Long Ao, would you be willing to tell me? What is the Talent Divine Ability that your bloodline has produced?"

Long Ao nodded. At this point, there was no reason to hide it. "Elder Nameless, the Talent Divine Ability I’ve awakened is called Dragon’s Roar."

Immediately after, an astonishing momentum erupted from Long Ao. A phantom dragon shadow appeared behind him as the sound of a dragon’s roar echoed.
