The clash erupted instantly.

The gray werewolves of the Third Hunting Squad tore into the group of zombies with coordinated ferocity. Roran led from the front, his spear thrusting through a zombie’s chest before he ripped it sideways, tearing the creature apart. Two other warriors flanked him, using their claws to shred limbs and crush skulls. The remaining squad members moved in perfect sync, preventing any zombie from breaking through their formation.

Vikram fought alongside them. His silver fur gleamed as he spun his spear with deadly precision, impaling one zombie through the head and kicking another away with raw power. For the first few moments, everything went smoothly. The squad’s discipline and teamwork kept the undead at bay.

Then, a thunderous roar shook the trees.

A massive zombie, easily twice the size of the others, burst out from behind a thick oak. Its bloated, rotting muscles bulged unnaturally, and its arms were thick as tree trunks. Black veins pulsed across its body, and a foul, corrosive mist leaked from its open mouth.

With one devastating smash, it swung its enormous fist at one of the squad members. The warrior was sent flying nearly ten meters, crashing hard into a tree with a sickening thud.

The squad tensed immediately.

Roran growled, preparing to face the giant threat, but Vikram stepped forward.

"Continue handling the smaller ones! Their numbers are still too high. I’ll stop this one!"

Roran hesitated. "You just joined today. Stick to the ordinary zombies—"

"I can handle it," Vikram said firmly, his silver eyes locked on the giant undead. "Go!"

Roran clenched his jaw, then nodded. "Don’t die!" He turned and rejoined the fight against the remaining zombies.

Vikram faced the giant alone.

The massive zombie let out a guttural roar and charged. Unlike normal zombies, this one moved with surprising speed for its size. It possessed a corrosive ability, every time it swung its arms, droplets of black acidic mist sprayed outward, burning the ground and nearby vegetation. Its skin was also unnaturally tough, almost like hardened bark.

Vikram dodged a powerful overhead smash that cratered the earth where he had been standing. He countered with a thrust of his spear, aiming for the creature’s neck. The spear tip barely pierced the thick hide before the zombie grabbed the shaft and yanked it forward, pulling Vikram off balance.

He released the spear instantly and switched to claws, slashing across the giant’s chest. Silver claws left deep gashes, but the wounds sealed almost immediately with black, tar-like blood.

The giant zombie retaliated with a backhand that Vikram barely blocked with both arms. The force sent him skidding back several meters, his feet digging trenches into the dirt.

’Why is this thing feeling strong?’

Vikram quickly opened his status window while circling the monster.

Special Abilities: Berserk Mode, Night Vision

Shock rippled through him. ’My stats are locked?’

He had far more power sealed away, only a fraction was currently accessible. That explained why the giant zombie felt so overwhelming.

The creature roared again and lunged. Its corrosive mist sprayed toward Vikram, forcing him to dodge repeatedly while landing what strikes he could. He was mostly playing defense — stopping its charges, redirecting its massive fists, and preventing it from reaching the rest of the squad.

Every collision sent jolts of pain through his arms. The giant was slowly overpowering him.

Vikram gritted his teeth, breathing heavily.

How good it would be if I still had my plant army...

The thought of his Treehouse and the powerful plant warriors it could summon flashed in his mind.

He dodged another crushing blow and countered with a powerful kick to the zombie’s knee, trying to buy time and create an opening. The giant staggered slightly, but its thick hide absorbed most of the impact. It retaliated with a sweeping arm strike that Vikram barely blocked. The force numbed his arms and sent him sliding backward.

The creature Titan Zombie, far stronger and more mutated than ordinary ones, roared and pressed the attack. Its corrosive mist burned the air around them. Vikram fought fiercely, landing several deep slashes with his silver claws, but the Titan Zombie’s overwhelming strength and durability began to turn the tide.

With a thunderous smash, the Titan Zombie’s fist connected with Vikram’s side. He was sent flying through the air, crashing heavily into a thick tree trunk. Pain exploded through his ribs as he hit the ground.

Before he could recover, the Titan Zombie lunged at him again.

In that desperate moment, Vikram instinctively reached out with his mind, trying to summon his plant army like he had done in the previous dungeon, hoping it would work. Guardian Treekin... come!

To his surprise, the connection was established instantly.

[Host has unlocked Sync]

[Sync can help Host to gain the ability of his Treekin.]

Vikram’s eyes widened in confusion.

Before he could process it, the System continued:

[Host has Synchronized with Guardian Treekin]

[Synchronization Successful.]

A warm, vibrant green energy instantly flooded his body. It felt like fresh roots spreading through his veins, refreshing, powerful, and full of life. The energy nourished his tired muscles, sharpened his senses, and filled him with a deep connection to the surrounding forest itself.

[Random Ability Acquired: Worldroot Vine Lock]

[Worldroot Vine Lock — Summons reinforced vines that bind enemies, greatly reducing their movement and attack speed while continuously dealing constriction damage.]

"So I can really acquire Guardian Treekin’s abilities..."

Before he could test it further, the Titan Zombie’s massive claws slammed toward his chest.

At the last second, thick, glowing green vines erupted from the ground and forest floor, wrapping tightly around the zombie’s wrist and halting the attack mid-swing. Vikram rolled away and slashed at the creature’s arm with his claws, drawing black blood.

Feeling the new power surging within him, Vikram focused. More Worldroot Vines burst forth from the earth, rapidly coiling around the Titan Zombie’s arms, legs, and torso. The reinforced vines tightened like living chains, constricting its massive body and burning it with natural energy.

The Titan Zombie roared in fury, struggling violently, but the vines held firm. Within seconds, the giant undead was completely immobilized, unable to move or attack.

Vikram stood up, breathing heavily but filled with exhilaration. "It worked..."

On the other side of the battlefield, the members of the Fifteenth Squad of the Third Hunting Army stared in shock. They had just finished dealing with the smaller zombies and witnessed the entire scene. Roran’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"How... Did he do that?" one warrior muttered.

The squad members exchanged stunned glances. The new recruit who had joined only today had just single-handedly neutralized a Titan Zombie using an ability none of them had ever seen before.

"How did you do that?" Roran, the squad leader, asked with widened eyes. "What kind of ability is that?"

None of the warriors had ever seen a werewolf awaken such a strange, plant-based power. They stared at the bound Titan Zombie in stunned silence.

Vikram didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he focused once more. More glowing green vines emerged from the ground, twisting and coiling together at his command. They rapidly wove themselves into a solid, reinforced spear, its shaft thick, strong, and covered in sharp, thorn-like protrusions.

Once the weapon was fully formed, Vikram gripped it firmly. With a powerful thrust, he drove the vine spear straight through the Titan Zombie’s head.

Crunch!

The giant creature shuddered violently for a moment, then collapsed lifelessly to the ground without any further resistance.

A satisfied smile slowly spread across Vikram’s face.

"I may not be able to summon the Guardian Treekin..." he murmured to himself, "but synchronizing with its abilities is more than enough."

He turned toward his squad members, who were still staring at him in complete shock.

"Finish all the zombies," he said calmly.

With another focused thought, fresh vines erupted from the earth and swiftly wrapped around the remaining ordinary zombies, pinning their bodies while leaving their heads exposed. The squad members nodded unconsciously and moved forward to deliver the killing blows, almost forgetting in that moment that Vikram was not their leader.

Once every last zombie had been eliminated, the squad members and Roran stared at him for several long seconds.

Then reality seemed to settle back in. They remembered exactly who he was. Even though his status as the future Alpha had been stripped, his bloodline remained undeniable. The striking silver fur was clear proof of his royal lineage.

They had all heard stories of the unique abilities possessed by the royal werewolves, the Mist King could transform into mist itself, the Sand King could dissolve into sand, Princess Kara could create real objects with her thoughts, and Princess Carol could weave powerful illusions.

None of them had ever seen an ability like Vikram’s before. However, that didn’t mean such an ability had never existed. Perhaps this was simply the unique power Vikram had awakened.

Still, Roran made a mental note. Once they returned to camp, he would report this incident to the captain of the Third Hunting Army, or directly to Elder Rowan.

---

The squad quickly cleaned up the battlefield, collecting any useful materials from the zombies before heading back toward the village. The atmosphere was noticeably different now.

While no one openly spoke to Vikram yet, the wary and dismissive glances from earlier had been replaced by quiet curiosity and a hint of respect.

While the rest of the squad looked at Vikram with amazement and growing respect, Vikram himself was struggling internally. After using the synchronization ability, the suppressed lust and anger inside him had surged dramatically, threatening to overwhelm his control.

He quickly reached for the small communication device Kara had given him before he joined the hunting squad. He had kept it secured in a sturdy pouch strapped to his thigh, the only item that remained with him after his transformation, thanks to its flexible design.

He dialed her number immediately. The call was picked up within seconds.

"I need you," Vikram said without hesitation.

Kara understood instantly what he meant. "Where are you?"

"I’m on my way back to the hunting camp," he replied, his voice strained.

"Head straight to your assigned cabin. We’ll be waiting there."

Vikram nodded and ended the call.

---

As soon as the squad returned from the mission and reported to the captain, Vikram excused himself and headed directly to the simple tent assigned to him.

The moment he stepped inside, both Kara and Carol were already there, waiting.

One glance was enough for them to see the intense turmoil burning in his eyes.

Before either of them could say a word, Vikram transformed into his powerful silver werewolf form. In a swift motion, he tore away every piece of clothing from Kara’s body. Still in her human form, Kara gasped as he gripped her tightly, entered her in one powerful thrust, and began taking her with raw, overwhelming hunger.

Kara was shocked by how starved he was. Because she was still in human form while he was fully transformed, the size and intensity nearly overwhelmed her senses. Yet she didn’t stop him. Instead, she quickly transformed into her own werewolf form, wrapping her arms and legs around him, holding him close and allowing him to do whatever he needed.

She had already made the cabin soundproof. No one outside would hear her cries of pleasure and surrender.

---

After thoroughly claiming Kara, Vikram focused on Carol; she was already in Werewolf form.

Seeing that, he didn’t hesitate, and entered inside her.

Carol received the same intense treatment. She moaned his name passionately, her body trembling under his dominance. In just a single day, both women realized just how deep and frequent his needs had become.

They both knew this was going to last the entire night.
