[“So many copies of you—planning to bully the few with the many? What a coincidence. I’m about to let the big bully the small.”]

[Ye Yu snorted coldly as his body began to swell at a mad pace.]

[Since he had decided to act, there was no reason to hold back.]

[Heavenly Fiend World Annihilation Canon erupted open.]

[In the span of a heartbeat, Ye Yu’s size shot past ten thousand zhang.]

[Even the bamboo above his head snapped by the dozen.]

[Yin Yu’s eyes lit up. The way he looked at Ye Yu was as if beholding some priceless treasure.]

[“A technique that enhances both physique and divine power in all aspects... Kid, I knew you were no creature meant for a pond. I truly admire you.”]

[“Sorry, I don’t admire you. Hard pass.”]

[As Ye Yu spoke, he hurled a punch, intending to pound the Yin Yu before him to death on the spot.]

[But the instant the fist wind touched him, the Yin Yu in front vanished.]

[Only the one a hundred meters away remained.]

[He lifted his hand slightly; a willow switch appeared in his palm.]

[It began to grow wildly, wrapping Ye Yu’s near-hundred-zhang fist completely.]

[And the switch kept spreading.]

[In the blink of an eye it covered half of Ye Yu’s forearm.]

[Yin Yu’s lips curled faintly. He spoke softly: “Got you.”]

[Ye Yu suddenly threw back his head—and smiled as well.]

[“That also means I’ve got you.”]

[Hearing that, Yin Yu sensed something wrong. Before he could think it through, a stabbing pain exploded from his back!]

[A seven-colored divine sword pierced through his heart from behind, then without slowing continued on to appear before Ye Yu.]

[Heng Xuanzhen’s figure flashed into being, her hand closing around the divine sword.]

[Her face was pale and her breathing ragged.]

[Clearly, that strike had cost her dearly.]

[Yin Yu stared in disbelief at his chest. Along the wound’s edges, seven-colored light still clung.]

[Cracks began to spider out, spreading fast—soon crawling across his entire body.]

[The willow switch that had wrapped half of Ye Yu’s arm lost all vitality, withering and sloughing away in droves.]

[Seeing this, Ye Yu could not help exhaling in relief.]

[So this is the Divine Lord realm—nothing special.]

[Ye Yu was not the only one thinking that; even Heng Xuanzhen relaxed.]

[She, too, believed Yin Yu would fall here.]

[But in the instant before Yin Yu’s body shattered, his divine soul emerged. Expression calm, he breathed out four words—]

[“Withered Wood Meets Spring.”]

[In a flash, vigorous life force burst forth.]

[The cracks on Yin Yu’s body began to mend at a speed visible to the naked eye.]

[Even the wound at his chest sealed.]

[In just two breaths, Yin Yu had fully returned to normal.]

[Behind him, the soul phantom dissipated at the same time.]

[Yin Yu flexed his right hand and said softly, “Truly unexpected. The two of you actually forced me this far.”]

[“But the game ends here. I have no time to waste on you.”]

[“Divine Domain, Spring of Wood!”]

[With a cold shout—]

[This heaven and earth plunged into pitch black.]

[Then a stroke of green appeared—and stretched wider and wider.]

[When Ye Yu’s vision cleared, he discovered he had been completely sealed by an ancient tree, unable to move.]

[A dense forest had formed around him as well.]

[Heng Xuanzhen was likewise sealed to another ancient tree.]

[Yin Yu’s figure appeared slowly, a peach-blossom twig in his hand as his gaze settled on Ye Yu.]

[“My patience has limits. I’ll ask you one last time—submit, or die?”]

[Ye Yu shook his head without a hint of hesitation.]

[“Submit your grandpa.”]

[Yin Yu said nothing. He walked quietly to Heng Xuanzhen, lifting the peach twig in his right hand.]

[The meaning was obvious: refuse, and she dies first.]

[Seeing this, Ye Yu hurriedly changed tune: “Wait!”]

[“Too late. I won’t keep giving you chances. Her death is one price of your refusal.”]

[Yin Yu raised his hand slightly; using the peach twig as a sword, he moved to behead Heng Xuanzhen.]

[But at the instant the stroke fell, tremendous resistance surged up to meet it.]

[Ye Yu—blood from head to toe—appeared before Yin Yu, seizing his wrist in one hand.]

[“I said, wait.”]

[Heng Xuanzhen’s eyes flew wide. She stared blankly at the blood-soaked figure before her.]

[That feeling returned.]

[As long as Ye Yu stood beside her, it was as if every danger would end.]

[With him here, her heart settled.]

[On the other side, Yin Yu clenched his teeth, shock filling his gaze.]

[No one understood the power of his Divine Domain better than he did.]

[The ancient-tree seal—Heng Xuanzhen, a Divine Lord expert, could not break it. Ye Yu was only at the Heavenly God realm. How had he done this?]

[As Yin Yu puzzled over it, he suddenly noticed a flicker of light at Ye Yu’s brow.]

[Could the problem be on his forehead?]

[What exactly lay beneath that black headband?]

[Yin Yu moved at once to tear it off.]

[But before his hand could touch the band, a lance of blue light shot straight into the sky.]

[It not only blasted Yin Yu away on the spot, it completely shattered the Divine Domain.]

[The supposedly indestructible bamboo grove was flattened into an open plain.]

[The glare stabbed Heng Xuanzhen’s eyes; she could not force them open.]

[But warmth suddenly spread across her right hand.]

[A big hand gripped hers and pulled her forward at extreme speed.]

[Heng Xuanzhen knew at once—it was Ye Yu.]

[Her eyes were still not fully open, but a strange peace welled up within.]

[If only they could keep running like this, forever without stopping—how wonderful would that be?]

[But that was clearly impossible.]

[When warm blood splashed onto Heng Xuanzhen’s hand, her heart lurched. She snapped her eyes open to see how Ye Yu was.]

[Inside the Divine Domain, Ye Yu’s back had faced her; she had not seen any wounds on him.]

[Now, when she finally saw his injuries—]

[Heng Xuanzhen’s heart twisted in pain.]

[“Are you alright?”]

[Ye Yu shook his head. “I’m fine. Focus on restoring your divine power. In a bit I’ll draw Yin Yu’s attention—use the chance to get out. Don’t worry about me.”]

[Heng Xuanzhen shook her head again and again, eyes reddening.]

[Just then, Yin Yu’s figure flashed into being ahead, blocking their path.]

[Madness twisted his expression. Pointing at Ye Yu’s brow, he demanded in a shaking voice, “What is that? Tell me—what is it?”]

[Ye Yu had just opened his mouth when a scarlet blade light crashed down, reducing Yin Yu to dust in an instant.]
