Leading a rhythm is a sacred art.

As a spy for the Holy Light Church, the man is deeply versed in this craft.

First, you must clarify what kind of rhythm is the most undesirable for the rebel army, then follow this clue to continuously think and formulate a series of plans, and finally select those who are easiest to be led by rhythm. Once that’s done, you can start leading the rhythm!

Of course, the most important part is that, when leading the rhythm, he must unwaveringly stand on one position— "I’m only doing this for the sake of the rebel army."

That’s roughly the gist of it.

Just imagining this makes the man excitedly tremble with anticipation for what he is about to do.

"Brother, could you tell me more about Solar?"

He approached a table of diners who seemed easy to talk to and used a drink on the house to get a warm welcome, leading them to eagerly tell him what he wanted to know.

The man wasn’t completely ignorant of Solar, but what he needed now was to know how the public views Solar.

"It’s quite a pity. I thought that Sun Warrior was the type to hold his faith unwaveringly until he went to his grave."

"Honestly, his current behavior makes people worried about his future... Is it strange to use the word ’future’ for residual shadow?"

"Right now, I can’t see any difference between his two endings."

The man inquired at this tavern, then turned to other taverns, drifting through markets and squares where adventurers gathered, continuously collecting people’s current impressions of Solar.

Until the entire night has passed, when dawn’s light creeps in, he feels he’s gathered enough.

"This was too easy..."

The man displayed an incredulous expression, then revealed a wicked grin.

Soon after, a rebellious voice began to spread within Hepa Town.

"Am I the only one who thinks the Starfire Church has already strayed from its path? Their current creed has been proven wrong, hasn’t it?"

The man, in disguise, stood by an average traffic street, speaking to passersby. His costume made him look like an ardent believer.

People curiously looked at him but didn’t approach him, nor did anyone refute or confront him directly. His words were akin to declaring war on the Starfire Church, especially since they were in Hepa Town! Surely someone would come to refute him?

Because this place was meticulously chosen by him, and the people living nearby were mostly the fervent believers who were criticized during the Flament incident for their relentless praying! Their daily sincere prayers were deemed useless by the rebel army and others, filling their hearts with hatred—they were the best target group to lead rhythm!

The man’s eyes shifted, taking in the surrounding scene, then continued loudly:

"I’m a long-standing faithful of the Sun Warrior. The teachings and creeds of the Starfire Church were directly adopted from the ancient oath of the Sun Warriors. Though modified considerably now, the framework and foundation are still those ancient things. No, I’m not just saying they are outdated, it’s just..."

He paused, noticing indeed some were watching him, then continued:

"The existence of Solar should prove that these creeds and teachings are erroneous, shouldn’t it?"

This statement seemed to have an enchanting effect, as people around instantly turned to look at him. The man’s lips curved slightly upward only to rapidly suppress it again—he read their eyes; they were urging him to continue.

"Arguably, among those who believe in the Sun, Solar is likely the first, right? Nobody would want to rebut that, right?"

"But you see, ultimately he lost all faith and became dejected, even resorting to letting those nauseating insects disguised as the sun crawl over his face. Honestly, that’s somewhat... concerning, right?"

At this very moment, people stood up and gathered in front of him, with someone in the crowd saying, "Go on."

"So, if the foremost in following the path of the Sun Warriors—Solar—has turned into that state, then what about others, the Starfire Church? Could they possibly do better than Solar?"

As more people gathered in front of him, the man’s voice gained momentum, speaking loudly, causing his voice to tremble, as he continued shouting:

"I believe the current creed of the Starfire Church is wrong, and it needs to be amended! They must not continue to be so wrong!"

"If everyone supports me, please help me then, make sure my voice reaches more ears, alright?"

"Honestly, I’m considering the future of the Starfire Church!"

As he watched the crowd discussing, murmuring amongst themselves, and their noisy sounds flooding his ears, the man couldn’t help but clench his fists.

Holy Light God, can you see? I’m shining brightly!

Some time later.

"Bang!"

Hevi’s fist hammered onto the table, barreling through a corner made of tough marble.

With the punch landing, his fist didn’t bring any pain nor quell his current fury.
