Chapter 389: Chapter 270: Kill

Qing Fan’s vacant eyes snapped back into focus. They glanced at Cang Lin’s lifeless body and uttered coldly, "One... Looks like you were the first to die."

Only then did Cang Fei, who had been watching coldly from a distance, snap back to his senses. He stared in disbelief in the direction the aurora beam had come from.

Even with his Tier Four Spiritual Power, he hadn’t sensed a thing.

Although he hadn’t detected the aurora beam’s appearance, Cang Fei knew exactly who was behind it.

"Qing Dou! How did he get here so fast?!"

The moment the words left Cang Fei’s mouth, a terrifying Spiritual Energy pressure instantly enveloped the entire area.

A powerful dragon’s roar echoed across the sky.

The Barrier, woven from cyan threads, started to blur as it was compressed by the immense pressure...

At the same time, a furious roar penetrated the Barrier. "Cang Fei, you will die today!"

In the next instant, the expressions of Cang Fei and the other Cyan God Insect Masters inside the Barrier changed drastically. Cang Fei shot a look at the nearby Qing Fan as the Cyan God Armor beneath him launched forward.

Meanwhile, in the distant sky, a brilliant, deep-cyan light flared to life.

The blindingly brilliant beam of light shot toward the Cyan God Armor’s flight path.

"Capture Qing Fan! Kill every last one of these Alien Race members and make that bastard Qing Dou suffer endlessly!"

A furious wave of Spiritual Power echoed deep in the minds of every Cyan God Armor Beetle Master and Insect Servant.

Driven into a frenzy, they commanded their Soul Beasts to charge the area where Dean Wu, Qing Fan, and the others stood.

The Cyan God Armor belonging to Cang Fei was the aurora beam’s constant target.

The aurora beam was incredibly fast—so fast it would strike the Cyan God Armor before the armor could even attack Qing Fan.

With no other choice, it erupted in a brilliant cyan light as a grid-like network of cyan veins instantly materialized across its body.

Its body didn’t grow larger; instead, it shrank to a height of ten meters.

The dazzling cyan halo around it turned a deep indigo.

Compared to when Cang Yu’s Cyan God Armor had transformed, this one completed its change in less than the blink of an eye!

Its entire body was covered in knotted muscles. Layers of indigo plates, like the armor of an ancient warrior, cascaded down to cover every inch of its form.

Mysterious Runes were inscribed upon the numerous plates.

Its pair of piercing insectoid eyes shone with a blue radiance.

"Haa..."

The indigo Cyan God Armor only had time to slightly raise its hands.

BOOM!

The aurora beam from the distance slammed into it.

Both the Jade Aurora Dragon and the Cyan God Armor manipulated Wood Type Spiritual Energy, so their Spiritual Particles were very similar in color—mostly cyan and deep cyan.

In an instant, the heavens and the earth were stained a deep cyan.

The earth trembled as the berserk Spiritual Energy formed violent shockwaves that radiated in all directions.

From within the ocean of dense cyan light, a sky-piercing Giant Dragon rose from the ground. Its eyes filled with majesty, it opened its draconic mouth toward a spot below and relentlessly spewed a breath of deep-cyan particles.

Meanwhile, an indigo halo flickered within that same ocean of cyan light. The massive beetle was in a half-squat, using all six of its insectoid limbs to throw tens of thousands of punches in an instant, enough to warp the very air. It pulverized the particles of Dragon Breath swirling around it, breaking them down into even finer Energy Particles.

Deep fissures were torn into the earth.

The web-like Barrier that had been cast over several kilometers first blurred and distorted, then rapidly evaporated like steam and vanished.

"ROAR!!" "SKREEE!!"

The sky-shattering roar of the dragon and the furious howl of the Cyan God Armor echoed across the open plains. A surging pressure of Spiritual Energy, powerful enough to kill any being below Monarch Level, swept out in all directions, blasting everything within a hundred kilometers to dust.

A gale of Spiritual Energy kicked up sand and stone from the ground, obscuring the sky.

The sky grew dim and murky.

Every living creature nearby felt as if the apocalypse had arrived, as if the sky and earth themselves would be destroyed this very day.

And yet, this was merely the first exchange of Soul Techniques between two Monarch Level Soul Beasts.

Dean Wu and the others were like a small boat in a raging storm. But thankfully, an invisible force within the brilliant aurora protected them, shielding them from the battle’s aftershocks and fending off the insect swarms attacking from all sides.

A Soul Beast that has comprehended the realm of Divine Will can imbue the Spiritual Particles it controls with sentience, allowing them to easily distinguish friend from foe.

"Cang Fei, twenty years ago, I might have been wary of your strength. But now, what do you have to fight me with?!"

Finally, a massive, jade-colored Green Dragon appeared on the horizon, and Qing Dou’s voice thundered across the heavens and earth.

"Domain Expansion! Heavenly Light Manifest!"

"ROOOAR!!"

The Jade Aurora Dragon let out an even more sonorous roar as its entire body transformed into a luminous object of jade light.

At the same time, whirlpools of cyan clouds materialized in the sky in a radius of over ten kilometers.

Flashing bolts of cyan lightning streaked and crackled through them.

Immediately after, pillars of light infused with a dragon’s roar shot out from the thousands upon thousands of whirlpools, all aimed at Cang Fei and his Soul Beasts on the ground below.

Heaven and earth were saturated with cyan light, and a terrifying Spiritual Energy pressure filled every inch of space.

Cang Fei’s face was grim. He tore off his exquisite cyan silk robe, revealing a muscular, scar-covered upper body.

Among the dozens of hideous scars, a long, narrow fissure on his abdomen was the most terrifying.

The fissure had never fully healed. The flesh was still split open, revealing pitch-black, horrifying organs that oozed black ichor.

’If I hadn’t been Cursed by the Dark Race, there’s no way I’d be in this mess, with my life threatened by some junior.’
